Dale's death always struck me as so random. I remember at the time there were rumors that Darabont's people wanted out, but even still they could have done better with his death. Dale was not the best guard, but it is hard to believe that a walker can sneak up him like that.

Damn, Michonne takes out Penny. This fight with Phillip is so freaking brutal. Ha, she stabs him in the eye. This should have been the end of Phillip, but Andrea stupidly saves him. Not knowing the truth.

I remember hearing that the walkers were cut back on in season 2, because of budget cuts, but I do think they made what we saw count.

The show has been tonally different in every season. The current episodes seem to be a somewhat awkward hybrid of every season.

Clearly, the behind the scenes drama has taken its toll on the show creatively. I still think that the show is a compelling drama and the best thing on tv at the moment despite Gimple and Kirkman's huge mistake with those Phillip episodes. I just hope that the rest of the season goes more smoothly.

What strikes me is how stylishly different seasons 1 and 2 were from the later scenes. We got more of emphasis on the walkers in those seasons, there were even scenes from the walkers perspective. I think I might like this to come back.

S3's Walk With Me shows why the eppies in the current season dedicated to Phil were nothing more than a stall tactic. Phil and his crew ambush the Army guys, but that wasn't good enough. He then bashes the guy's face in with the butt of his rifle and has what appears to be an orgasm shortly thereafter.

I enjoyed the two episodes, but I think that they were definitely a mistake. They totally stopped the great momentum that the show had going. I still don't understand why they could not have integrated Phillip's scenes with Rick's group of survivors.

I catching up on the season 3 episodes that I missed last night.

Daryl bringing the flower for Carol and telling her the story about the Cherokee mothers on Trail of Tears was so well done, very poignant.

LOL! More likely most of the group including Rick would have been dead with Shane still around making it much easier for Phillip for take them out.

Gawd, the poor horse is about to be eaten. I am changing the channel. I refuse to watch that scene again. It made me sick the first time around.

I love Morgan and Dwayne was so sweet. Morgan and Rick were instant BFFs. I hope that they bring on Lennie James as a regular now that his AMC show has been cancelled.

The season 1 marathon has started.

I don't know why. Alden was horrible.

I like seeing that Stephen is working constantly. I think that he was talented actor who was underrated on the soaps because he did not have the traditional "handsome" look. I had no idea that he has a son who also acts. He is a proud father. Good for him.

His praise of JFP does make me roll my eyes, but whatever.

I only watch sporadically, especially since Chris Meloni left. I definitely miss Elliot, but I am a huge Chris Meloni fan from his days on Oz. I think that Amaro is okay and a good partner for Olivia, but Kelli Giddish is bland and lacks any energy, much like she was on AMC. I still don't see why NBC thinks she is anything special, but it keeps moving her from show to show. I think she must be sleeping with one of its executives.

I have no problem with Cassidy. He is not too smart or demanding which makes him the perfect man for Olivia. I think a woman with Olivia's myriad of problems and dramas would be difficult for most men to deal with.

I am not looking forward to Olivia confronting her attacker. It is all so over the top. And I am tired of all her dramas also.

I will miss Cragen. I don't buy the reasoning. It is more likely budget cutting combined with trying to get younger.

I am watching Batman Begins for the nth time and just realized that the kid who sees Batman on the fire escape is Jack Gleeson who looks about eight years old in that scene. He was so cute.
