Sorry for the delay you guys, but I'm sure you'll agree it was worth the wait. I'm quite proud of this episode.

LOL, I was much the same way last weekend- I got hooked all over again and read it from beginning to end, which is what inspired me to start writing it again!

Hope you enjoy the 99th episode! I think it's the most compelling one I've written since I started this up again!

Thanks Tracy! Did you go back and start from the beginning? If you're hooked on the Sophia storyline, you really should. That storyline, along with the Mary/Mason/Julia saga, has been going on since Day 1 of the blog.

I LOVE writing RTSB and that particular story. CC & Sophia were never my top favorite characters (I was always more of a Cruz & Eden, Mason & Julia, Keith & Gina, Augusta, and Kelly fan) but I find them so compelling to write for. I'm glad you're enjoying it!

You're not supposed to remember those flash forward episodes!

Thanks! I think it especially helps with the younger characters as well as the new characters that I've created. I'm going to continue to do it for each episode, until Wendy & Sherri have my opening credits ready. I think I'm going to have them do 2 or 3 sets of openings, so that each character can be pictured and labeled with the actor and character's names.

By the way, Episode 99 will be posted later tonight- I've had a really busy day, but it's coming!

Not to beg, but I need some comments you guys! I'm always interested to see what my readers' opinions are and it motivates me to write. Plus, on several occasions, my readers' thoughts have inspired directions that I've taken in storylines.

FYI- since I already have the outline done and I'm completely in the groove of writing now, I'm going to go ahead and post Episode 98 TONIGHT!!!!!

Heather Lindell played Jan Spears on "Days of our Lives." She plays Samantha Capwell on RTSB.

Justin Hartley was Fox on "Passions" and currently stars on the tv show "Smallville." He plays Brandon Capwell on RTSB.

Jessica Dunphy played Allison Stewart on "As The World Turns." She plays Adrianna Castillon on RTSB.

There is an upcoming episode that features the entire younger generation of characters- I will post their pictures at the top of that episode so you can visualize them.

You can ask me Viktoria, I don't mind answering your questions. I'm happy to- it's been 4 years and I realize that not everyone is going to re-read the whole blog again. But I just did so I can explain anything you like.

There was stuff in the flash forward episodes that I deleted which featured a gay storyline. Those episodes are best left forgotten, so I cannot tell you who it was. But there may be a gay (or bi) storyline coming up, though I wll not give it away. You'll just have to keep reading, as I know you will.

I have to tell you guys, to help me get back in the swing of writing, I've been doing outlines of each episode before I post them. And it has helped me tremendously! As I said in my comment on the last episode, I've done outlines for all of this week's episodes and I think we're all in for a real treat. There is movement in every storyline, even my "B" stories. I am about to do the outline for the 100th episode, which I plan to make very special for you guys. But believe me when I say that no matter what story or characters you're a fan of, this week is not to be missed.

Much like my first week when I started this almost 5 years ago now, the idea is to capture the readers' attention and to hook them. I'm positive after outlining the episodes for the week, ALL of you that have come back or even just started reading will be hooked on 'RTSB' (all over again!). I promise you I'm hooked on writing it again, which is definitely a good sign.

So be sure to follow my instructions in this News & Previews column- do NOT miss an episode of "Return to Santa Barbara" this week!!!

I got to say, I just finished outlining this week's episodes and RTSB is gonna be on fire. I have a very special episode 100 planned for you guys, with a special treat for the fans of each particular storyline/couple. I'm SO excited about all of it!

Brandon is, of course, Brandon Capwell. As for Steve, he's sort of a drifter at this point- he drove Adriana to Mexico when the boat exploded with Cruz on it. They've been sort of seeing each other and flirting at this point. Nothing has yet been revealed about his sexuality, though there is some interesting stuff coming up.

Samantha is Samantha Capwell, Mason & Julia's daughter. She hasn't had much to do since the blog was started, except for get in an accident on Rafe's motorcycle, leaving her injured. Rafe helped her around the house and with physical therapy for a month or so, before she recovered. They had a flirtarious relationship, before he left town. I'm toying with the idea of bringing him back, since he and Lily were once in love and I'm building up a Lily/Samantha rivalry.

Things have gotten better in my personal life and I finally got another job. I don't want to make any promises or guarantees yet, but I have not given up on this project and I do hope to revive it this year, hopefully in the not-so-distant future. Keep checking back- not sure if I'll make any kind of announcement or hoopla- I want to just start in writing again.

I've had some personal problems of late with my family that I can't really go into. I am going to continue the story, so bare with me........again! I'm in the process of jotting down some thoughts & really moving things along. There are so many things that I want to play out so badly that I refuse to let 'RTSB' die completely.

Yes, hopefully by tomorrow. Had job interviews all day today & some drama earlier in the week. I know I'm slow going, but I'm trying to get back into the rhythm of writing. It's been 3 years, so it's taking me a little time. Once I start delving deaper into the stories & get things moving, it will start coming easier, but these mini-eps/recaps/refresher courses are a necessary evil.

The next mini-episode will be up tomorrow!

Yayy! Glad you're going to see the stories play out & hopefully, get to know our other readers here, since you read the story after I had already stopped posting episodes. We're all a fun bunch.

By the way, if anyone is good at making youtube vids, please PM me. I really want to have an official opening for RTSB with the actors' faces, ala Y&R. Actually, probably 4 versions, each featuring different characters in the cast.

I'm trying to get back into the swing of writing, so, to get my feet wet, I'm going to try to post shorter episodes every day this week, reacquainting everyone with the characters and their stories. I'm going to try to feature each storyline in an episode this week to remind everyone where we're at. After that, next week, I'll go back to posting longer, more involved episodes as before.

I figure this is a good way to get me back into the swing of things and, at the same time, whet the appetite of the readers for each of the stories I have going on. Plus, I think we all need to be reminded of where we're at and who these characters are, especially the ones that I've created myself that were not part of the original show. Hope you all enjoy them!

I just re-read this one & I think it's one of my faves. Sherri- you're dead on- Keith Timmons is love. His lines had me cracking up! Off to post the synopsis!
