I'm still in Dusty!

I thought about you when I wrote this episode!
Glad you enjoyed it! Elizabeth has her reasons
for what she's doing, as you'll find out.

I'm just getting caught up- I LOVE that Sean, Tiffany,
Frisco, and Anna will be in for the funeral. Tiffany
especially was one of my faves. I never have been
much of a 'GH' fan but your blog is what 'GH' should
be, instead of what we're being given now.

Thanks so much Viktoria- glad you joined & are
enjoying it so far. CC doesn't fully trust Elizabeth-
they have a history together, as you'll learn,
that's blurring his judgement a bit here. Also, it was
either merge with her or lose the company. Stick
around- there's more to come!!!

The character is Kirk Cranston, played by
Joseph Bottoms.

Yayyy!!! Susan- loving her reaction to the
news! Can't wait to see she & Kim as in-laws.

I LOVE IT!!! Brilliant twist- Marlena's not going to
like this at all, is she. I wonder if this will widen
the gap between she & John.

Thanks so much both of you! Unicorn, I hope to
keep you & the other 'SB' refugees on your toes
for months to come! The rest of you too.
I think the takeover secret is going to come as a
shock- I doubt it's anyone you suspect, but I could
be wrong. As for Pamela/Sophia....... let's just
say I'm setting up the Viki/Dorian type relationship
Pamela & Sophia always should have had IMO.

Solid episode, Ryan. Loved the Tracy/Skye stuff, and
the Sam reveal at the end. And Liz is a sanctimonious
beyotch. What else is new?

Glad you're enjoying it amello! Mary/Mason/Julia will
remain on the front burner for a while.

OMG, Boillie!!! Oh, and you GO Marlena!!!!

Damnit! For a minute there, I thought Abby was
the one pulled out & Chelsea was still down there.
Can't the b itch just DIE already? Great
episode you guys! And.....I...kinda...... like the
Greta/Eric/Nicole stuff

Good episode you guys! I know I'm late to the
party but......better late than never! On to Friday's
episode.

I LOVE IT! KR, seriously, it's too bad you never
got to see the show because you would have
LOVED it I think. There's some clips you can check out
on youtube, if you're interested.
To better understand what's going on in 'RTSB', check out this

All of the characters in 'RTSB' are profiled.

Poor Melissa. Doesn't look good for her. I LOVE how
Annie has been incorporated - hope she's not another
victim of the Cast Exodus.

Great episode Dusty- Really enjoyed it!! I love how
you have pitted Emma against Lisa- brilliant!!!! TWOO
is quickly becoming one of my favorite reads- keep up
the fabulous work!!!

Thank you so much for the compliment! So cool!
I hope you continue reading & enjoy what you see.
If you're interested in learning some of the 'SB'
history to aid in your enjoyment of the Blog, you
should check out this site:

There are profiles & intrigues for each of the
characters in my cast, many of which I'm drawing
on for the stories being told.

Very good episode today you guys- hell, I
was even interested in the Abby/Chelsea
scenes, so that definitely says something.
LOVED the showdown with Victor/Stefano, and
the Kayla/Steve stuff I could just picture in
my mind! Look forward to tomorrow's edition!

Thanks Tish! I'm not sure how this one is
going to play, since it features mostly new
or less popular characters. I actually am
finding myself transforming Lily, which just
kind of came to me. There are endless
possiblities for her I think, which surprises me
considering when I started up the blog, I
wasn't sure what I was going to do with her past
the wedding.

I know what you're saying Steve, but it's apples &
oranges. There are some 'SB' sites on the web
where detailed information can be obtained, whereas
'From These Roots' is an original show. For those
who don't know much 'SB' history and would like to
be able to follow along with a better understanding
of the characters, I HIGHLY recommend this site:
http://santabarbara-online.com/index2.htm
The character profiles are AWESOME & detail everything
each character did in their time on the show. ALL of
the past 'SB' characters on 'RTSB' are profiled there.
Even if you know the show, if you have a chance, check
out that site. It kicks ASSSS!!!!!

It's okay Drew & King, it's all good. King- I was just thinking
about you when I was writing the other day & how you had
asked if it would be hard for those who didn't watch the
show to follow the blog. While I don't think it's been
too hard to follow, I admit that if you don't know the
characters & their relationships with one another, it's
probably not all that interesting. I'm doing my best
to appeal to everyone, but I can't deny that 'RTSB'
mainly appeals to fans of 'Santa Barbara' Thanks
for commenting though! I do hope you both check it out
now & then & I'll always want to hear your thoughts
on casting/format/style, etc......

The person who's behind the takeover will be
revealed sometime next week. I must say
that particular storyline won't be playing out
how you may expect.

Hehe, when I re-read the episode, the Sophia/Pamela
exchange was by far my favorite part. Pamela's
agenda will be revealed piece by piece. Watch out
CC & Sophia!!!!

Loved maniacal Alexis! I love when she goes on her
melodramatic tirades. And loved David's line at the
end! Now there's the smug David Hayward I miss.
