I can already miss Taylor... and what Krista gave to the show. I am just so sad we will not see Taylor in 2024.

I've been thinking about that too.  Yet, we get "Poppy" (no offense to the actress) a character we know little about, have no investment in, and she is seemingly being paired with a lead male.

That's the 411 on soaps, if you don't have a love interest, you are doomed to be on the backburner.  I think Allen and Diamont would of had chemistry, granted story-line wise it may not have been the best fit since Taylor shot Bill.  On the other hand, other characters have cheated, been forgiven, etc.  Unfortunately there is nobody on the show to pair Taylor with, with a limited small cast.  They also could have brought on a new love interest for Taylor, I mean gawd forbid the show think outside the box and introduce a new character??  I also think Taylor and the "hot waiter" would have been good.  (Although I think you prefer him with Brooke, they do have chemistry too).

Sharon has consistently called herself "Sharon Rosales".  Did she change her name back, or did the writers and prop department forget?

Yes, is "Newman" an oversight?  I think it would be fitting if the nameplate read Sharon Collins CEO.  Sharon has endured so many ups and downs in her relationships and marriages...I think it would make a statement if she changed her name back to Collins, a little shout-out to how she was introduced on the show 30 years ago.

  5. I noticed SOD uploaded all the shows but Bold.  I don't know if that was an oversight or something else is going on.  Could TPTB have told the site not to (would they have that authority?)  I mean first no more promos.  Is it possible Bold wants less spoilers out there?  But I mean the dailies are still out there.  Idk.  Something just seems off, maybe it's nothing. @dragonflies

BOLD dropping is deserved TBH. that's a good sized drop too given they were close to 2.9 million previous ratings lol

GH beating BOLD in demos ROFL 🤣

@Jeff Look at BOLD's ratings lol

Full week of revisiting Emma's death and painting Thomas as a villian, viewers don't care.  As someone said in the discussion thread once, Brad can't think of anything else, his wild card is revisiting an unhinged Sheila (granted the ratings sky-rocketed when she shot SINN), now Thomas' mental stability, again.  Time for new stories!

I suspect GH will continue its uptick, with JZ/Bobbie's funeral this week, so it will be beating BOLD in the demos probably!

What is the chance of Bradley Bell giving another writer a chance for a second at the head writer spot... I mean... A squirrel can write better stories for this show now. I just think Bradley, who never was in touch with quality storytelling, is now COMPLETELY out of touch with life in 2024 and writing for new fresh faces.

I had an opportunity to browse the Old/Classic B&B thread, good stuff in there, those were the days huh?

The Finn/Hope stuff goes back a couple months just before Steffy returned we had Finn and Hope talking to each other for like a week lol. I don’t mind Finn being the show’s hero but we don’t any type of pairing with Hope. Yikes!

Why should Finn care? Because Hope is a nice person? Pleaseeee!!

The writers are trying to force tension/drama with Finn and Thomas that's not there.

ALL THIS.  Yes, we had a few scenes with Finn & Hope a few months ago where they bonded, I guess.  But as with almost every other story, Finn's animosity toward Thomas is out of left field, no build up (other than Xander coming back to drop the Emma bombshell).  Steffy has asked Finn to support his brother-in-law, but he would rather be Hope's hero, another stupid angst story for SINN. @dragonflies And as usual, everybody is up in Thope's business 🙄

That did make sense Errol but also that was the covid era and all show's ratings were down big time. So is it really an accurate comparison?

I think that is the point to show the numbers during 2020, the height of covid, when production was at a halt, and weren't we only getting only a couple new episodes a week.  The comparison shows how the soaps have rebounded (or not as the case may be) since the pandemic.
