How awkward for Susan, and Brytni.  And whoever else experienced mischance, while being interviewed or on the red carpet.  What choice did they have but to put on their best face.

Not sure if this was mentioned already, does anyone know why Thorsten Kaye and Finola Hughes were not at the ceremony?  Of course the simple answer is, they couldn't make it.

And I GAGGED when JMW thanked Kimberlin Brown. OF COURSE the right wing MAGA woman would thank the other most MAGA person in the cast.

I notice each year, JMW has thanked her co-stars in the stories she was involved with, that earned her the Emmy.  In the past it was Scott Clifton or Don Diamont.  This year she thanked Kimberlin, and Tanner Novlan.  The idea being she shares the award with her peers involved in the story that earned her the Emmy.  I think it is classy.

I'm on the west coast, so could not participate "live".  As per every year, mixed feeling about some of the winners.  Thanks to all for the clips and images!

I have been a Taylor Hayes fan for decades.  I was a huge Hunter Tylo fan.  I did not want a recast for the most part, those were big shoes to fill (even though I felt Taylor was needed on the canvas).

Then the news came out Krista Allen was cast.  As with any recast, initially there was skepticism. I think the most obvious thing that stood out, for some, was her younger age.  But Krista won me over.  She was just a breath of fresh air on the show.

Did she play Taylor different than Hunter?  Yes.  I get that.  She may not have won everyone over, I have no problem with that.

Per the Deadline article, Krista was offered to "recur", and had three lines for an episode after a couple months of nothing??  THAT is insulting.  To any actor.

So I will miss her terrible, but now that the news has sunk in a bit, at the end of the day Krista has to do what's best for her.  Same with any actor.  Cheers to whatever is next for her!

I was wondering the point of Mattie's university threatened by wildfires.  Then it occurred to me, this will leave Daniel alone with Heather.  AND I totally forgot CK was preggars!  Yes, this is likely the start her maternity leave.
