I really had a feeling they were gonna go this route this time with him just leaving. My only hope now is that whatever letter he sends to Tracy (if that is true) is heartfelt and says that he wanted to spare her having to watch his every move, etc. It better end with "I'll always come back to you" or "I love you". Then I want her to crumple it up and throw it in the fireplace and say the hell with you. And go get plastered at the metrocourt and go have revenge sex with Scotty/Dr. Julian/Coleman/Ramon...any or all of them--LOL. Luke is such an ass. No, let me rephrase that...the writers are such asses. Someone posted on soapdish that "AG will be vanish for a month." Meaning he is only gone for a month. Then someone else posted this about Luke (who is another supposed insider): I only know about Jan and he hasn't come back by the end of Jan. Don't quote me on this because I don't really concentrate on my luke info, but I'm pretty sure Tracy does not leave with him. He leaves on his own. I asked if Tracy is on much the rest of Jan. He/She said she really didn't know or remember but had the information at work and would come back and give a concrete answer. Everyone still keeps saying that Luke is ALWAYS on for sweeps. Always. IN fact, those are the only times of the year you can count on him being on. Maybe he isn't back for the start of sweeps but come back sometime in Feb. to have some role in it. Who knows. Guess we will see Friday/monday how this all plays out. I just hope that Luke's kids will at least be nice to Tracy or sympathetic. I mean they built them all up as sort of being "family" this past month or two.

Okay guys..not sure if you want to read this or not....but finally finally someone answered on soapdish as to how Luke leaves. Being that it is four days a way, it may not be so speculatory. IN fact, this is what I really thought would happen all along with that idiot. It is an insider supposedly, but not on that has identified themself as a recognized insider name. "He leaves abruptly without notice and leaves everyone wondering where he went. He later sends Tracy a communication letter her know he is ok and "evaluating his life" so to speak if that makes sense." So the good news part: Hopefully that means he DOES not leave with Skye. And it probably means that JE didn't go on recurring and was like TG or no TG I am Tracy freaking Quartermaine...I am not being bumped to recurring status. I will take Tracy with limited airtime when he is gone rather than Tracy not on at all for months and months. Bad news: Luke is a selfish coward and I can't believe he would do that to her after all she has laid on thel ine for him. At least he sends her a letter cause you know she is gonna be freaking out. UGGHHHH!

Remos..I posted on the other board but I LOVE That story. It is exactly how I thought it would be in my head, well except for the part about them walking in Old Quebec City!! Great job. I love this series. Mac Laptop crashes yet again. Gotta take my son to the apple store before he has a coronary. Guess I will feed the kiddos out tonight so I can come home and try to write. I did like today's show today for the most part, but mostly because of the multitude of characters and balance. Even Carly and Jason and Sonny aren't monopolizing every single segment. That is some improvment for sure. And even the Diane Alexis stuff was sort of silly, it was a pleasant thing to watch. I will say that it is disgusting that Ric is trying to sleep with Skye while little kids are napping who could walk out at any moment. People were pointing out that this is in alexis's house--the same house he slept with her daughter in!! I am wondering if the skye luke dock scenes could be like a little dream montage thing for her leaving while luke is like dozing off after she says goodbye. Wishful thinking maybe.

Wow Remos you are on a roll girl! I am gonna read it now. Saw this exerpt from a Tristan Rogers interview that mentions TG and JE... Tell us as an actor, what kind of an actor is Tony Geary? Tristan: As an actor he is always in the moment. That's the reason we do the sort of improv we do because he is "there". But it goes further than that. He has that ability to take a shallow scene and give it depth that it doesn't have. Jane Eliot is the same. That's why they are so good together. It's been interesting to watch how he has evolved from the 80's to now. The journey has been a rich one. Edit Wow Remos...that was just perfect! Love it! Yes, but they shoot things out of order all the time. Just because those were the last scenes TG may or may not have shot...doesn't mean that they are the last ones aired. I, for one, am glad that JE will be around while TG is gone, if indeed this is true. I think I realized through all of this that I am a Tracy fan first, and Lunacy fan a very very very close second. I would rather have Tracy on screen then off screen for four months. I like her with scott (not romantically but fighting and snarking) I love her with LC and JI, I like her with Lulu. As long as somehow they handle it with care with him leaving and not just walking out on her to go off to heal somewhere...or have him leave with Skye which would be totally ridiculous at this point ( I don't think TG would even have gone for that), then I will be okay with him being gone til whenever. It would be so simple for her just to make some comments about going to see him on the weekends. Or just getting back from seeing him, etc. Same with Lulu and Lucky or whtaever. They dont' need to make him run off on some huge adventure each time. But as Remos said tonight...we will know soon enough! One week from now we will either be bitching and moaning about how much we hate this show and hate luke for leaving and feeling bad for Tracy, or we will be like okay...we got some great lunacy scenes and stuff...far better than we had hoped for...and we have at least Jane til Tony comes back! I think it is a good sign actually Ms. Q that she didn't leave with him for months (if the part that she has been taping is true) because that would much less likely mean that she is going to recurring. If you have your entire storyline spoiled in advance and outside of your control then people may not tune in and you don't get the opportunity to promote it the way you want to (this goes for any storyline) Chat Up, Can you explain why Guza's name wouldn't be listed for the writers today if his outlines are being followed? Credits form part of the collective agreement between the Writers Guild and the AMPTA and so there are strict rules about who can and can't be credited. If he received no credit today then they were not obligated to do so likely due to working from a different outline Let's ask CU! CU rumor mill has it Kelly has been asked out of her contract? Is it true? Is it possible to be let out after just re-signing??? There are a number of ways a contract can end: 1) actor exercises an out 2) studio exercises an out 3) studio terminates for cause 4) actor asks for relief - this often comes with conditions including an agreement not to seek work with the competition for a specified period. So yes she could ask to be let out but the studio does not have to grant it. I'm a little out of the loop as I've been away so I don't know if Kelly has asked or not. OK...Chat up Anon who is a very reliable soapdish poster who works supposedly on the business side of things at GH came on tonight. She doesn't give detailed storyline breakdowns but gives insights into th ratings and what TPTB are doing/thinking, etc. I asked about JE and TG and whether or not she was leaving with him and not coming back til May. She said that she didn't know when TG was coming back and that his contract is very fluid. She wasn't sure about if JE was leaving with TG this time. She is not really on the storyline end of things. So many he got back and wanted them to totally do the whole love thing. Considering this person's timing scenario...that would ahve happened long before the writer's strike and before a lot of the recent backlash and stress about ratings, etc. Now supposedly things are changing a lot and JFP is in charge of the scab writers and supposedly protecting people like Tony and Jane. So bottom line...we still don't really know anything. But I sort of feel a bit better thinking that she is not just gonna up and vanish from the show totally.
