I haven’t watched this but here’s a long interview with Tiafoe, Eubanks, and Shelton in which they talk about Serena’s influence on them, being Black American players, and more:

Both Sloane and Danielle were a set and a break up but both lost (to Vekic and Bencic). Vekic is a great grass-court player and absolutely tireless, but I heard Sloane unraveled on the brink of capturing that second set.

DAYS during Reilly’s era(s) could be very funny, often unintentionally. But Vivian and Ivan were often hilarious.

Ricky Martin (ex-Miguel, GH) is getting divorced after six years of marriage, per People.

Y&R has really leaned into the flashbacks lately, even flashbacks of relatively recent developments. 

Oh I saw that the GQ editor-in-chief is producing a movie for Warner Bros. Huge conflict of interest.

Definitely a bit of a Streisand effect here. By attempting to censor it, they only drew attention to it. There are dozens of Zaslav takedowns across the web amid an endless sea of content most people won’t read a tiny fraction of. This one was harsh with the Pretty Woman comparison, but I can’t help but think they’ve only done worse damage to themselves by trying to bury it than they would by simply ignoring it.

Santa Barbara, of course, since it was those crazy Dobsons. They had some of the genre’s best comedic actors in Nicolas Coster (R.I.P.), Lane Davies, Robin Mattson, Louise Sorel, Justin Deas, et al, who could handle the screwball pace and also enliven some of the more womp-womp material. 

AMC had some incredibly funny characters like Dorothy Lyman’s Opal, Phoebe, Erica, the list goes on…

The rain delays seem to stifled momentum for some underdogs who were outplaying the favorites. Also, this. Have we learned nothing from what happened to Monica Seles?

What a logistical disaster this tournament has become.

I forgot Christopher Templeton passed away years ago from cancer. So that’s seven actors gone. Of course, Jeanne, Jerry, and Quinn were all older, but Michael, and especially KSJ, Beau Kazer, and CT were all relatively young when they died.

So many actors in this episode are gone: Jeanne Cooper, Kristoff St. John, Quinn Redeker, Michael Tylo, Jerry Douglas, Beau Kazer…

Randy Brooks filled those jeans quite nicely.

Yeah, Mmoh won in four sets. A great opportunity for him, no doubt.

FAA needs to do something different. Take a breather and get his body right. 

Tough R1 for Venus, but at least she got to play Centre.
