Sad. These dream/fantasy sequences just don’t work very well.

We still got a new treat though today - SLC intro and taglines!!! They're holding snowflakes and these taglines are pretty good. The slow dramatic music is my favorite though - I'm living for that music!
The taglines are clever but their deliveries aren’t quite landing them for me. The visuals are good.

I love Heather. Somewhat surprised that she’d return full time after her comments on the show and how it affected her life, but she’s about that $$$$ and promoting her brands as well. I’m glad that we have a member of Team Sober returning, as the last season tipped the scales too far into the drinking and other substances.

Yeah I do wonder if Lulu will be recast. She’s in the middle of big story. ER is awful in the role.
We’ve all been talking about how much GH needed to take a weed wacker to that overgrown cast.0 -
I actually kind of liked what I saw today, except for anything Phick-related. Glad that Billy’s schtupping of Summer was readdressed. Curious about Lily and Victoria’s adversarial energy. I dug it when Lily and Victoria were butting heads under Mal, and they’ve been on a collision course for years.

So they are basically telegraphing Chase’s paternity, right?
Sasha is channeling Jessie Spano on speed.

HBO is resurrecting this therapy session drama with Uzo Abuda replacing Gabriel Byrne as the therapist. I really enjoyed this show.

I think the only front burner “classic” characters he didn’t try or succeed in dismantling from 1996 to his first firing in the early 2000’s were Monica, Bobbie, Lucy and Ned.
It’s actually kind of amazing that Bobbie and Monica got out of that era relatively unscathed, considering the destruction that was happening to their long term partners and families. (Monica had that iffy story with Dr. Pierce, I remember.) They just ended up being marginalized. Lucy survived by buggering off to PC.
Edit: when I say “unscathed,” I mean that their integrity as characters wasn’t as damaged as many of their peers. Had they not been punished for growing older, they’d still have been very viable.

Justus Ward, GH. He never recovered from the Damian Smith story.

Very cool to see Kate Collins AND Fiona Hutchison in that episode.

Saw a bit of Friday’s show. An absolute trainwreck. She looked completely out of it.

JMB could be abrasive but at least she could land a line. I was always an ER defender until she started playing Lulu. I particularly liked her as Lizzie. She’s awkward af in this role. She comes off as sort of ditzy, not a spitfire, and her delivery is a WTF.
