1. They are opening an office in El Paso too, I think.

Yes, white male. Almost 30. But he has to be educated because I don't think you can let anyone be a teacher's assistant to children with disabilities. Obviously, the teacher he works with has a Bachelor's and is going for a Master's, but you'd think he'd have some kind of education too other than a high school diploma. Or maybe not because I believe his mom used to work in the district before she retired, and it's not what you know, but who you know...

  2. Oh geez, white male teacher's assistant (who works with disabled children the entire day, so should be pro-Hillary simply for her policy) just offered Hispanic male custodian a Trump sticker, and he declined.

Assistant: "You're not voting for Hillary, are you?"
Custodian: "Well, I'm not voting for Trump."

The custodian just told me privately, "I'm definitely voting for Hillary." Says when he was younger, group of white guys came up to him told him to back to Mexico (he was born in the United States) and if not, they'll come back and shoot him. He of course never forgot that. Says this thing has always existed but Trump is giving more people an outlet to show it, and that he reminds him of a dictator - what he says, even the way he gestures.

The teacher's assistant, who again works with disabled children for the whole day, just said he's been a fan of Trump since The Apprentice. If that's the reason he's voting for him, God help us all.

  3. Today in one of my classes, my students were researching Mexican Independence and reading about the monarchy in Spain and were talking about democracy and whatnot, and I heard Trump come up, and 2 of them (one white female, one Hispanic female) were talking about how scary and sad it will be if he wins.

I agreed (even though I probably shouldn't say anything) and said "too bad you guys can't vote," and one was like, "Well, we can't vote, but we can tell adults what we feel and maybe change their minds." I was thinking, "Damn!!! Smart kids." This is a honors group who were using words like integrity and perseverance today, so not your typical 12 and 13 year olds, but still...

  4. Speaking of unhealthily obsessed, I think Andrea Mitchell is with going after Hillary. She took part in this exchange this morning.

Trump: Hillary Clinton is taking the day off again, she needs the rest. Sleep well Hillary - see you at the debate!

Mitchell: Hi @HillaryClinton @realDonaldTrump tweets u r taking the day off "sleep well" he'll see you at the debate. Prove him wrong call into #AMR?

10 minutes later: @HillaryClinton @realDonaldTrump #AMR just kidding! We know you are meeting with national security advisors maybe next time

  5. I'm going to check Twitter regarding Kellyanne.

In May 2015, MSNBC published an article about how Hillary, even when traveling with the public, remains private... Article would eventually get to the point that it was for security and determined by the secret service. The same article mentions it was the first time in 28 days she held a press conference. Someone should alert them that Trump is now at 54 days.

Edit: Just read from NewRebublic and NYT times journalist/reporter that man at Trump rally today volunteered to execute Hillary. Don't know if Trump said anything in response. I know it's nothing out of the ordinary, considering that video showed how they say "kill the b-tch" or "hang the b-tch" but still... Same reporter heard somebody say they'd shoot George HW Bush if they saw him.

  6. I continue to be amazed by the fixation on the emails. We've now had the DNC, Colin Powell and our Olympic gymnasts hacked. Maybe it's time to recognize that she was the smart one.

And wasn't there a time when those in the government were instructed to use private emails because their government servers were being hacked? I think I read that on Politifact.

  7. Apparently the NYT had an article, and while people remember a variety of things reported on Trump, they mainly only associate Hillary with emails. I know my Dad at one point said that's why he's not voting for her - says she'll jeopardize national security with a server in her basement. Not saying the server wasn't dumb, because it was... but you'd think the media could have mentioned her handling classified information on paper, face to face, over secure phone phones, in tents upon landing, even in locked suitcases!!! I think the only time I heard that was from Hillary herself or the state department. But I suppose that's a boring story and doesn't fit their narrative.

  8. There just aren't any words for what Trump says and does... I don't understand why people are voting for him. At the very least, don't vote!!!

That portrait of Trump has been located!!! Wonder if the media is covering it. Also, he used 258,000 from his charity to pay for legal fees.

Obama is to campaign 1-2 times a week for Hillary and Dems down the ballot.

One last thing... Trump says Crooked Hillary is copying him and his plane...

  9. A daughter of Robert Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, said in a Facebook post that former Republican President George H.W. Bush told her he's voting for -- wait for it -- Hillary Clinton.

Townsend, a Democrat who served as Maryland lieutenant governor for eight years and goes by Hartington online, posted a photo with the former president to Facebook: "The President told me he's voting for Hillary!!" wrote Kennedy Townsend, a niece of President John F. Kennedy.

Jim McGrath, a spokesman for Bush, did not confirm nor deny the claim.

  10. I just heard a couple kids shout my name from outside (I'm in the library at work - I'm a middle school teacher), and then one kid in a DONALD TRUMP mask waved at me... WTF is going on... She literally just raised my heart rate with that terrifying mask.

    Debate 1 Topics: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Csvm1bVWAAA59ps.jpg:large

Someone on Twitter joked that Holt forgot to list, "Make America Great Again."

  11. I know I am being very pessimistic but while true, that's from a liberal site.

It's not a 'liberal' site per se, it's a well-respected and factual one cited often by the press.

BTW: Hillary is now up by 9 in PA.

Awesome PA news! I hear what you're saying... It's not liberal in the sense that Brietbart is right-winged.

Meanwhile, Obama on voting turnout: If African-American voter turnout is low, Obama says, "I will consider it a personal insult. An insult to my legacy."

  12. I know I am being very pessimistic but while true, that's from a liberal site.

Though the NYT did post another negative article about him which is out of the norm and in response, Trump tweets that his lawyers want to sue the NY Times. But he apparently is holding back for now.

I think it's suspicious that records from the Ivana/Donald divorce have been abruptly concealed just after the papers showed he verbally abused and demeaned her. That it was unsafe for them to remain married and that Ivana called his treatment of her cruel and inhuman.

  13. I was feeling somewhat confident in the weeks following the convention. But not anymore. His numbers just keep rising. I can't comprehend the ridiculousness that comes from Trump and his surrogates... whether it's something hypocritical like, "I cannot support someone who lies for a living," a false claim like "She doesn't have plans," or something completely unacceptable (so - basically anything that Trump says about anyone)... there just aren't any words.

I don't know whether anyone read and/or posted this one previously but kind of an interesting interview with Mark Cuban on the reasons why he changed his mind on Trump and endorsed Clinton. It is kind of weird that his initial reason for thinking of Trump was as a buffer against Ted Cruz but I guess that's when he believed that there was a single GOP candidate that was even near Presidential material. Still don't get it, but oh well.<_<

    Mark Cuban Changes His Mind

I liked this part, especially what I put in bold: There were two things that finally led me to endorse Secretary Clinton: The first was that I did quite a bit of homework to understand all the allegations that were directed toward her and found almost all not based on fact and the remainder far from material. The tipping issues were Trump’s positions on NATO, our treaties, dealing with our allies, his comments on nuclear weapons, and his lack of understanding of the concept of deterrence. His ignorance of these issues scared the [!@#$%^&*] out of me.

  14. Trump's updated doctor letter...

    https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CsZtOmAW8AAAUgW.jpg

He apparently has better cholesterol levels than HRC and TK, so I guess the cholesterol medicine is doing its job. Now, do I think cholesterol levels affect one's ability to run the country? No. Just making an observation.

Is the calcium score the same as cardiac calcium score? Because Trump's is listed at 98. 11 to 100: Plaque is present. You have mild heart disease. Your chance of having a heart attack is moderate. Talk with your doctor about quitting smoking, eating better, beginning an exercise program, and any other treatment you may need.

The doctor mentions when his parents died, but unlike Hillary's doctor, did not mention their history. I know we're walking a fine line with the father's Alzheimer's diagnosis, but if the media is all over Hillary, they should also be all over this.

50% of people surveyed about recent health letters say Hillary's doctor gave false information. 37% said Trump did. Thanks media!!!!
