I have no words..
My students were talking about this... I didn't think much of it because I didn't think they were serious but they said people were going to write in Harambe... They also guessed Bernie which makes more sense, but still stupid...

Is she still losing NC and OH? *sigh*

I'm just sitting here and crying.

I am honestly shocked at this point. I honestly never believed it would be this close. This says so much about my fellow Americans and not in a good way

Yeah Broward county votes aren't in yet are they?
I don't think so but I just read she won't get enough from there to win. People on Twitter who support Hillary are saying there is a real chance Trump will be President and are worried.

Just read this: Reminder: FL voted early & most of the early votes were cast when voters thought FBI was investigating Clinton. Thanks, Comey.

I can't handle this.

I read some pro Hillary Twitter accounts... They think she unfortunately is going to lose Florida. What's the race looking like now?

No, she's not.
She is apparently up 10 from 2012 in Orange County, FL and up in Duval and Palm Beach.
I just did a who is winning search in Google for live results. I like what you posted better.

Oh, for God's sake. You guys need to fuckin' chill. Every election year, every year, the red states come in early and give the Republican an early lead and then the rest of the country turns up to go blue, and for eight years they've gotten wiped out.
Hillary is up in Florida. If she takes that and NC it is over. If she takes Ohio it is a landslide.
She is losing all 3 right now.

Thank you for this post. I needed some of your and Jane's optimism.

Is it a feeling of relief @Ms. Quartermaine ? I have to wait for Election Day but if only I had the option to vote early, I'd do it ASAP and take a hiatus from the political media for as long as I could hold out until the results started coming in on Election Day.
I wouldn't call it relief, but I felt proud to see her name on the ballot and to be able to vote for her.

I am just sticking with PEC that says she has a greater than 99% chance of winning (not quite 100%, but it doesn't get any better than greater than 99).

I was reading something that the victim broke her silence
I just read that she is giving a press conference at 6 EST.
On a separate note, I voted today! For Hillary and Dems down the ballot!

Well, per the Washington Post, it says Trump and Clinton are now virtually tied according to an ABC Poll. Also, this from Washington Post: Trump now leads in two of three of his must-win states - but the path forward is grim.
Either way, this is depressing.
Thanks! I hope the other polls have better numbers.

What is the overall consensus on the letter from Comey? Any changes to polls?

On MSM too or just online? I've seen a lot of disgust of his actions on Twitter. But then I just got back from another site... Pro-Hillary posters but also NeverTrump or NeverHillary posters and I'm sure some Trump supporters too... Had to leave. It was too frustrating.

I live in Illinois and just went to https://www.elections.il.gov/
Jane, do you know if this is what I should be looking for? "Permanent Early Voting with Grace Period Registration?" It says October 24th through October 28th.

Well, this is gonna be a blowout election. And he had another very bad night.
Time for closing statements. Let's see what Donald comes up with.
Trump hides behind his lectern as Hillary comes down to thank Wallace and then into the audience.
The defining moments: Trump calling her "a nasty woman" and announcing he will "keep [America] in suspense" about not contesting the election. The audience gasped. It's over.
Thanks for the updates.
Meanwhile in TrumpLand...

Trump: I was sitting there this afternoon in a wonderful hotel.(referring to his hotel)
Clinton: Yeah, the one built by China material.
Anyone saying Chris Wallace would be unfair, he's doing an awesome job IMO.
Good to know. I'm not watching and read that he started off well but then was showing his bias, so I wasn't sure.

My white students will be happy. Based on what I've seen during this election, the Muslim, Hispanic, and African American students are going to be devastated (with a few exceptions).
