From SOW: Edward and Tracy want Lulu to have the baby so that the scandal regarding the defective condoms doesn't go public. Are they serious? Come on. I get the the Q's are family over everything (except maybe money...heh), but do you know how "evil" this is going to make the Q's look? If they want Lulu to have the baby, this shouldn't be the reason. *sigh*

Also...More news on GF's return. Laura wakes up a la the movies Awakenings (the victims of an encephalitis epidemic many years ago have been catatonic ever since, but now a new drug offers the prospect of reviving them) and The Notebook (an old man tells an old woman about their life together, and finally, one day, she remembers). TG is very talented, and I don't mind if Luke visits Laura every once in awhile, but if I'm going to have to listen to monologue upon monologue on how Luke/Laura came to be and how their love is one that cannot be destroyed...UGH. Sorry, guys, just had to rant, and hopefully, since most of us, a minority we may be, are in favor of Tracy/Luke and not Tracy/Laura, I figured that'd it be okay to express my anger.

From ABC.com: Tracy and Edward talk about defective condoms being made by ELQ then overhear that Lulu is pregnant with Dillon's baby. All right. Never did I once think I'd read a spoiler like this. We get our first Edward/Tracy one-on-one scene since JI's returned, and Tracy and Daddy discuss defective condoms? And I guess this answers the unspoken question of how Tracy finds out about the baby. I was kind of hoping Lulu or Dillon would tell her, or she'd be smart and have it figured out already, but eh. I'm just glad for a TQ spoiler, even if it only lasts one day.

Edit: From Anonymous of SoapDish: News travels quickly, and the Quartermaines discover that Lulu is pregnant with Dillon's baby - another heir, but all hell breaks loose when they hear the teen is considering abortion. Tracy worries for LuLu and tries to be sensitive to Luke and how he'll take the news. Nikolas stands by his sister. Sounds like speculation based on what we already know, but as with everything, we'll see...

Ha. If only they'd go there... but you mention that Luke comes back with Holly, which means he's been with her the whole time, which is going to snuff out the possibility of any fun, romantic reunion in lala land.

Actually, Luke first returns for a couple of episodes in the beginning of September. Then, he takes off again and re-appears Sept. 28th, which is Holly's first day back. So, basically, it looks like those few episodes in the beginning of the month are going to be Holly free.

The story, she assures them, is still very much there...and desperately wanting feedback to soothe the poor author's nerves.

*hands on hips* What? Is my feedback not good enough? But seriously...You have nothing to worry about. There are not enough words of praise in the world to describe your stories.

Chiming in on the abortion issue: Whatever happens, I don't want another round of "Tracy is eviiiiiiiiiiil." I'm not sure if I could see her encouraging Lulu in either direction. Of course, it's spoiled that the Q's want her to have the baby. It should be Lulu's decision, as well as Dillon's. Speaking of Dillon, how come he gets to be on 5 days this week (err, at least 4, not sure if he's on tomorrow), and his mother can't even average 1 day? *sigh*

Welcome back, tracyluver! I've missed you and your posts! I don't like your take on "being slammed back into motherhood", LOL, but it could totally happen.

As for Tracy carrying the baby, I don't see it. No way. If Lulu couldn't carry the baby to term and it was possible to implant it into someone else, there would be a list of other women to do it. Elizabeth...Carly...Emily (not too sure because she had chemo, but maybe next week's Lulu/Emily bonding means something other than Emily is so pure, good, and wonderful...Gosh, I hope not, LOL), or even a stranger. No way is Guza going to have a woman in her late 50s carrying another woman's child...Although, Tracy carrying her son's baby? Oh, it's just so soapy.

And according to SID, Luke is back onscreen for a couple of episodes in early September (I take it as this means Tracy's search does NOT lead her off the canvas for a long time since she goes searching that last week in August.) Anyway, he's back full-time September 28th, which is also ES/Holly's first day back.

Banner Alert: I have gone back to the Olive!Tracy...at least temporarily. I'm not too impressed with the LC/Monica and JE/Tracy one, and well, Olive!Tracy seems to cheer everyone up, and since it looks like we could all use some cheering, I've brought it back.

MinervaFan and angel, I've read/reviewed your stories/chapters at FF.net. I loved them. angel, I hope it doesn't seem like I was rushing you into updating.

Anxiously awaiting Chapter 2, by the way. I know I'm going to love it. And yes, Tracy being a soundboard is better than what Guza typically comes up with, but I'm greedy and want even better stuff.

Apparently, on the next cover of SOW, there's something about GH planning its "Most Forbidden Story" (the person said it was an abortion one). Guza: "It's never been done before." Anyway...if all this is accurate (not saying the poster is wrong, just saying that Guza is misleading), do we think its Lulu? There's supposed to be a couple more pregnancies coming up, and it might be one of them...Guess we'll see.

Question for ILoveTracyQ ('cause she knows this stuff, LOL): Why did JE leave in 1993? I know a lot of it had to with being promised a big SL with Gerald Anthony, and then for whatever reason, that didn't happen, but what else was there?

On another board, there was a post that said JE decided to vacate the role because she was a pro-choice activist and was uncomfortable playing a character who blackmailed a woman (Jenny) after she had an abortion...except that Jenny didn't have an abortion, so either the poster was wrong or JE got the SL confused. Anyway...Just wondering. The poster called her "evil in real life" because of that, and I just didn't understand. Am I missing something?

And I won't even get started on Paul being a better person than Tracy, and Tracy "kidnapping" Dillon...Although technically, I guess it was kidnapping. Kind of. *sigh* Good thing I'm not a poster there 'cause I am soooo terrible at defending Tracy sometimes. LOL.

I love how every time she's CEO the company just happens to be in some kind of turmoil. Jeez...That Tracy is so incompetent and incapable of running a business. *rolls eyes*

Edit: SoapDish finally has a TQ spoiler. Tracy will be back on screen soon and will be a sounding board for Luke as the 25th anniversay storyline begins with Luke's memories of Laura. A sounding board? Are you freakin' kidding me? Yeah, yeah. JE can do so much with a single look, but I'm getting the impression that Luke will get all the dialogue, while Tracy's stuck with "Mmm hmm's" and that kind of thing.

I'm thinking TG starts re-taping in August (probably started already) for a couple weeks and the scenes air in September. Then he leaves again and re-appears in October? I just miss my girl. And that stuff she filmed a few days before SoapTalk aired? I bet it's been cut. *sigh*

LaineyBev, I can't believe that is your first Luke/Tracy fanfic! You are brilliant. I agree with MinervaFan, it's sexy, romantic, snarky...You must write more. And Luke got her presents? Aww. Loved all the narrative you incorporated, and the dialogue was perfect. I loved it.

My Response to the ESSAY Question...dum, dum, dum.

Why do I Tracy? *inhales* Because she's a fun, intelligent, snarky, strong, determined, and complex character. She doesn't pretend to be someone she's not. Everything she does is for a reason (maybe not always a good reason), and when she messes up, she can admit it (i.e. "I made a mistake. I am trying to fix it." ~Tracy to Emily, late 2004). She doesn't accept people's garbage. She isn't just a b-tch. Outside her tough exterior, there's this woman who's (and I quote Wally Kurth) "hurting and desperately crying out for love" and respect. Probably the love and respect that Edward's denied her since birth. I love how she's willing to do anything for her family. She's loyal to those Quartermaines even if they don't deserve it. She can have me laughing in one moment, wanting to smack her in another, and wanting to hug her 5 minutes later. Toss in the fact that she's portrayed by one of the best actresses on General Hospital (all right, the BEST as far as I'm concerned), and you got my only reason for watching this show. *exhales*

Yes, I'm quoting myself, but um, guys? This is my letter. I sent it after the Tracy/Lulu/advice scenes. My first one ever. I didn't think it'd get published, LOL. And not once did I mention how "wonderful" JE is (although, I do agree...). I mentioned JB, SC, and JE working "wonderfully" together. There's a difference. Heh.

Anyway, that's why I figured it wasn't mine. Oh, and I'd like to say that SOD changed "amazed with Jane Elliot" to "amazed at Jane Elliot," which makes it sound like I used the wrong preposition. I guess I should've wrote "amazed by," but "amazed at?" No sense IMO. Who is editing these things? LOL. And since most of us are probably going, "What the heck is she talking about," I might scan it later, or at least provide details if anyone is interested. Question though...Should we be happy about a pro-JE letter even if it came from me? I was kinda hoping someone other than us would take the time out to write something. (Kind of) brief rant: Didn't watch today, but from recaps and such, I gather that TIIC are trying to manipulate viewers into thinking that Sonny is a really, really, really good man, who is all helpful, sympathetic, and that sort of thing. Please tell me this isn't happening. And please tell me that people other than my sister are not actually falling for it. *pukes* And WHY is Sonny CORINTHOS the first conscious person (other than Lulu herself) to learn about the SPENCER-QUARTERMAINE baby? Anyone else having trouble with the site?

MinervaFan, I also liked the second chapter better. The mulit-character chapters are harder to write too. Too many characters. Too much going back and forth. Not a lot of room for narrative (IMO anyway). But I just couldn't have a Thankgiving dinner without all the Q's.

About the promo...Thanks! I needed to upload it again because I spelled "Song" as "Sony" by mistake. I've edited the corrected version into my original post if you or anyone else is interested. And actually, I didn't do a slo-mo on the "take a bus" kiss. I did do one for the vow renewal clip though.

ILoveTracyQ, I doubt it. I think most of the people in the room noticed Lulu's attachment to her purse, and she quickly covered for herself. On the other hand, the camera did cut to TQ in that scene for a short bit, so maybe something will come out of it.

I have no idea the date that TG will be back. He's supposed to have a short 2 week run or so sometime soon, isn't he? Late August? Early September? I read that ES is back for 3 weeks on September 28th. I'm so confused, LOL.

About Robert/Tracy...I believe SOD said that "might" happen. SOD knows about as much as SoapDish. Heh.

Guza in TV Guide: He doesn't have a Hallmark renewal of vows planned for Luke and Laura. (Whoa. It can't be a renewal of vows anyway unless LnL were still married, right? Because then it would be a re-marriage. Or is it the same thing in this case? And does this mean he has a vow renewal planned, but it's not going to all hearts and flowers and all that? Or does it mean no vow renewal at all? Excuse the rambling, LOL.) Guza also said that he's going to honor LnL's anniversary in his "own way." Thoughts? This might be good for us. *sigh* I'm kind of feeling like a selfish TQ fan right about now.

LaineyBev, I'd agree if I wasn't so desperate to see TQ on my screen. I guess I just figure something is better than nothing. I reserve the right to change my mind though. Heh. JE is much too talented to be wasted, and if she's reduced to just appearing at weddings, parties, etc...I might be willing to let her and TQ go. Until that time comes, knh, we can be selfish together.

Fanfiction Updates...

Still feeling "eh" about the ending of the anniversary story. On the bright side, I did add a couple of chapters to Oh, Baby: Chapter 54 and Chapter 55. Kind of feeling "eh" about these too, but I think part of the problem is that I'm more than satisfied with what I've come up with for the anniversary story so far, and therefore everything but that story is all of a sudden "meh" to me. Hope that makes sense. LOL. Anyway, any feedback (positive or negative) is accepted.

Guess what I made? A lil' cute promo. *** (Tracy/Luke) It's small (about 3 MB), so I don't think it'll take dial-up users a long time to download.

*** The first promo I posted had a spelling error in the 2nd to last clip. I typed "Sony by" instead of "Song by." The second time I posted it, I realized I typed the wrong track number. Hopefully, the third time's a charm.

(I ask because these were listed with the Anna/Tracy/spectacle spoiler.)

So according to the sister, all those spoilers happened within the last 2 weeks except the Edward/killing one, which I guess could be referring to him asking Jason to kill Alcazar...Or perhaps Edward's going to end up even richer in the near future since "make a killing" might refer to making a bunch of $$$. Anyway, I'm thinking these spoilers were in fact accurate. So, can Anna/Tracy please make a spectacle of themselves soon? Or am I going to have to assume the scenes were cut? TIIC have been cutting FH's scenes since she returned, so it wouldn't be surprising if these ones were also cut.

ILoveTracyQ, I understand completely. I cannot stand being "told" who I'm supposed to love or hate. The writing is so slanted, it's ridiculous. About the TQ scenes...I can get the clips up eventually. She doesn't do much at all really (yesterday's had more substance), but it's fun to wonder what Jane's thinking about. LOL.

nex and smirks, glad you liked the video. The music skips a bit at the end. You've probably noticed but are too nice to say anything.

Regarding the outfit, I have to bring this over from TWoP (I hope KerleyQ doesn't mind me sharing):

You can understand my surprise that Tracy was receiving a call that Lulu hadn't showed up for work yet, what with it clearly being either very first thing in the morning or the middle of the night. How else do you explain that Tracy had obviously been woken up by the phone call so she threw her robe on over her PJ's and hauled it down the hall to get Lulu off to work? Wait, those were her clothes?!?

They looked like pajamas to me too.

According to Wubs...ELQ is in trouble. *thinks back to last year* Remember when Wubs had those ELQ spoilers? The good spoilers? Tracy goes all pro-active and makes her move to save ELQ...or something. And of course, none of it played out as Tracy mysteriously disappeared to Europe one day. Anyway, I do have a point. I bet these scenes don't get cut. Oh, they'll air all right. It's about making Tracy look incompetent again. It's about spitting on the Q's. And I HATE it. I'll hate it even more if the Q's don't get much screentime out of it. *pouts* This is just stupid. TIIC give our girl the CEO position back in a freakin' throwaway line and for what? To take it back while we all point and laugh at what an incabable businesswoman Tracy is? I'm not buying into your garbage, Guza.

Question: You have a lot of scenes with the younger characters, as well as the more mature ones like Luke and Carly. Which do you enjoy more?

Answer: I could never choose. I love working with Tony and Jane and Laura because I learn so much from them. I like feeling like I should work harder, and when you're with the vets - it's game time. But the teen scene is amazing too - they are my peers. I feel like I'm really getting my own story when I work with them versus coming in and out of Luke's story. The younger actors are all so talented and fun to work with - they're the reason I love my job.

My comments? In what world are Luke and Carly mature?!? LOL! The teen set is more mature than the adult one most of the time. But...How sweet that she mentioned Jane even though Tracy wasn't listed with the so-called mature crowd.

SOD Heads Up!

If anyone gets it, there's a letter in the Mail section praising Jane Elliot. The recap at SoapZone says the person says how wonderful she is. (Me: Well, duh, LOL). But if anyone gets it, could you elaborate?

LIVE UPDATE (Dear God, help me. I'm watching this show live, LOL)

Scene 1: Surprise! Happy Birthday Lulu! Lulu is speechless. Tracy wants Lulu to thank her family. (Please note: This is the only dialogue JE gets all episode...at least up until the half hour mark.)

Scene 2: Tracy in the background. She notices Lulu is protective of her purse. Picture time. Bobbie takes pictures of Lucky/Lulu. Enter Nikolas. He tells Lulu and Lucky that he named the baby Spencer. After their reaction, the camera cuts to Tracy/Bobbie/Elizabeth. And they kind of have this look like, "Why would you name your kid Spencer Cassadine?" Maybe. LOL. Dillon is peeking through the window.

Scene 3: Dillon enters. Tracy's in the background...still. Looking interested and bored at the same time. In other words, I can't describe how she looks, LOL. Maybe Jane is just thinking, "They called me into work for this?" And uh oh. Lights out. Tracy (in the background) pulls out her phone. Lights back on. Phone goes back into her purse. Enter Patrick.

Scene 4: Tracy and Bobbie sitting near each other. Bobbie is silently goo-goo-ing over Baby Spencer, who in his stroller next to Nikolas. Tracy's on the phone. Lucky is evilly looking at Elizabeth/Patrick. Lulu/Dillon talking. Enter Georgie. (This is why GH sucks. You have all these characters in the same room, but they're all stuck in their little groups. Where the hell is the cast integration? Perfect opportunity, but nooooooo. *sigh*)

Scene 5: I guess Tracy left the party 'cause she isn't in the background anymore. But Carly's here now! Isn't that exciting? [/sarcasm]

Scene 6: Party's over. (I'll still recap for the characters who attended.) Dillon/Georgie cleaning up. Elizabeth working behind the table. Maxie/Lucky outside. Kissing. Carly sees and follows. And that is a really ugly top Carly has on (the back of it). Not that Tracy's wardrobe is anything to brag about, but come on...

Scene 7: Carly sees Maxie/Lucky having sex. She tells Elizabeth. Georgie/Dillon never stopped loving each other, blah, blah, blah. Lulu goes to visit Laura. The nurse tells her she looks like her. Lulu enters. "Hi Mommy. It's been a long time. A lot has changed. Went on an adventure with Dad, well actually, tracked him down and rescued him against his own will. I thought we were getting close, but he's gone again. And it's my birthday. You don't know that, but you're here, and at least I get to spend it with one of my parents." (give/take some dialogue)

Scene 8: Elizabeth sees Lucky/Maxie. Georgie fell in love with Dillon their first summer together. Her heart still has his name on it. Talking about maturity. She doesn't want to miss him anymore. They kiss. Lulu is telling Laura about the party. It was great. Everyone showed up. Even Tracy...She tells her about Dillon, how she feels about him, the big lie, but there's a problem. They used protection. Goes on about statistics. It was hard when Dillon hurt her, but it would be all right because she wouldn't have to deal with everything anymore. It would be over...except it's not. It's never going to be over. Lulu tells Laura she's pregnant. And seriously...kudos to Julie B. I know not all of us are Lulu fans. Heck, I could take/leave her...I guess take, just so Tracy can get SOME screentime, LOL, but Julie is so wonderful here. *claps*

Previews: Lorenzo/Sonny. Threatening voices. Oh, I'm so scared, LOL. Robin/Patrick talking about dinner. Carly/Lady Jane. Elizabeth calls Lucky a liar. (Wait a second, wait a second.
