  1. I thought the same thing earlier, that they just put in these isolated scenes to make it seem like she was a part of things early on.
  2. I'm starting to finally actually give a damn about Cynthia and it's about time! Throw her in the mix getting catty with the other ladies instead of fighting with Papa Smurf or the sister, and she finally gets a wee bit interesting. Cynthia totally should've whipped out the recording so there'd be no pussyfooting around it. I gotta say, Phaedra is THE WORST liar I've ever seen on any of these shows. First the "many doctors have different theories" lie about her baby's due date, and now this. And then the way she tried to change the subject by talking about a fly biting her booby... hilarious! If I haven't said it before, I'll say it now: Phaedra totally reminds me of a young, black version of Dolly Parton I hope next week they started integrating the newbies with the vets, because otherwise it feels like I'm watching 2 different shows. But I'm thinking next week it'll still be a focus on the vets (when they confront Kim) and the newbies will be peppered in there separately. Porsha is just uninteresting altogether. Kandi's Mama Joyce looks to be losing some weight! Good for her!
  3. LOL Poor Kim. She's so socially awkward and the whole world gets to see it. No wonder she drinks drank. I LOLed at David not recognizing Taylor. I'm sure Taylor's got plenty of BFF's that she only met once and they're now bosom buddies in her mind. Paul just wishes he could be holding diamonds and doing an opening sequence too cuz he's a bitch (and I don't mean he's a mean person, he's just a catty woman in an overweight man's body)
  4. Great line from Lisa. That says it all right there. Adrienne and Paul really are birds of a feather. So petty and desperate to be top dog. Lisa is fabulous just by being herself while Adrienne tries so hard to show even the tiniest glimmer of wit. I mean, really? Paul is complaining about "the Maloof hoof?" That's like Jersey's Caroline being upset about cookbook comments. There's more there than meets the eye and the Maloofs are just jealous haters. I was cringing every time they had a semi-closeup of Taylor. It's like they brought in some malnourished sick homeless person off the street, gave her some spare pants and a man's dress shirt, and let her join in on the party even though she's been drinking out of her flask all afternoon. She's just gross.
  5. So very true. I'm guessing the producers knew enough to plan the transition from the original ladies to the new crop o' gals, with Sheree gone, Kim going, and NeNe one foot already out the door, I'm sure season 6 will mark the first RH franchise where there's nobody left from season one.
  6. Porsha is a huge disappointment. I hope there's more to her than meets the eye. Kenya called it perfectly: she's the wife of, the granddaughter of... she isn't famous for being herself, and there doesn't seem to be much to her. It was weird watching their lunch meeting and then Portia's event, because like any new characters on a continuing drama, you need to introduce them with existing characters instead of having new characters on a separate storyline island. Kenya's only 3 episodes in, so she's still a newbie. So there you had newbie Kenya having issues with newbie Porsha who's surrounded by complete strangers to us. The only familiar face --- in a dress and blazer? --- was good ol' Lawrence. I liked watching NeNe and Cynthia in NYC. My husband is the same. Will not do the subway. But he's a diva too Kim complaining about her townhouse not being big enough for the 6 of them and there not being a pool for the beached whale to lounge in comes off badly, especially in this economy.
  7. Buwahah! I don't miss her, but I do kinda miss watching her be a total poser. She was just so desperate to look like a wealthy socialite. Yes, I agree that Kim's relevance went out the window as of last season when she suddenly acted like her gold-digging ways never happened. Bitch please. Your past will forever live on in reruns. I miss Lisa Wu-Hartwell too (I miss her husband even more... Goddamn he was fine!) I couldn't help but notice that big girl in the background during Kenya's scene. LOL. God, I so want to visit Atlanta and see this magical place for myself, full of half-man/half-woman creatures roaming the streets in 6-inch stilettos. Nobody does icequeen stares like Beverly Hills' Lisa. Adrienne is outta her league. Can't wait for the confrontation.
  8. I had to add it in when I kept seeing that GIF image of her going off on Jacqueline
  9. No more Manzos? In the words of Melissa, "Thank you Jesus!" I liked the family the first 2 years, but this past season was torture!!! (to quote Gia Guidice). Bye Kathy. You'll be remembered and revered about as much as NYC's Cindy Barshop. Oh, PLEASE make the return of Danielle Staub happen! She is the perfect dose of batsh!t crazy needed to make a reality show interesting! Wait, if all these cast changes come true and a gaggle of Teresa supporters join, that would make Jacqueline the odd man out. I'm down for this!
  10. Definitely. It looks like the right side of her lip is swollen or frozen and can't move no matter how much she speaks.
  11. She's trying to be like Lisa, but it's falling flat and her quips are forgettable.
  12. 2.5 is a sharp decline for Atlanta, yes? Beverly Hills was enjoyable overall last night, but yes, a ho-hum episode. Way too much Adrienne and Paul, no wonder it was a dud. Not enough Lisa. Antoyne, you're so on the mark about Taylor desperately trying to get others to like her by engaging in lousy gossip that isn't even worth gossiping about. Trying to stir [!@#$%^&*] up to remain relevant, but she just looks like such a whiny, malnourished shrew. Next week's party with Yolanda hosting and Taylor boozing it up looks to be a fun trainwreck. Loved seeing Camille! She still has that surprised deer-in-the-headlights look that we love so much. It *is* pretty ironic, what Kyle pointed out, that she and Camille butted heads like no other during the first season, but now they're genuinely friends, and there's no Bravo contract to make them obligated to hang out together, so that's pretty telling. OMG Dana scooting in there for camera time... LOL. Go home 25K. I love how Kyle and Mauricio's daughters have such a beautiful blend of both parents' features. There's no doubt who those baby daddy and mommy are! Adrienne & Paul... gimme a break, saying Lisa owes them an apology. Ugh, that woman.
  13. This is NeNe's final season, no doubt. Once this season finishes airing, she won't care who's on or not. I agree that it's a good thing that newcomer Portia is actually married. It's kind of stupid to bring on a "housewife" who's neither a wife or a mother. I can do one or the other or both, but neither? C'mon...
  14. Ah see now THAT'S a bitch move. Doing something catty like that before filming starts so that the other person retaliates onscreen.
  15. Jesus Louisuz... he and Lawrence are just TOO gay, haha.... They're so androgynous with their half man/half woman attire. Lawrence is good looking without all that caked on make up. Derek just looks like he's in pain when he's in heels.
  16. Meh..., I had hopes for higher numbers.
  17. I *loved* Beverly Hills last night! I had a smile on my face the whole night because I just love seeing almost all these ladies! Lisa is queen and the first episode of the new season certainly solidified her position. I loved how so much of the focus was on her, and hot messes like Taylor and Adrienne were merely supporting players. I think Lisa has stayed true to herself and hasn't changed or let fame go to her head, from what I can see. I love her friendship with Brandi. Yes, Brandi is crass, but she's brutally honest and real and I love that. Lisa was visibly hurt by Adrienne's false accusations at last year's reunion; why should she put on a happy face and invite the biyotch to her party? Boy, that was a calculating move by Adrienne by sending that Japanese dragon pinata flower arrangement to Lisa's party. No nice intentions whatsoever. I can't wait to see her downfall. Looks like she's picking fights with alotta ladies this year. Kim is still a mess (at least she attended a party). Taylor is still a wannabe mess. Kyle is still a sh!t starter but I like her regardless. Definitely missed Camille but was SO glad to see a lot of her in the season preview! Looks like she and Lisa have a falling out? And she goes off on Yolanda? I think Yolanda has potential. She's not bursting through the scene like ATL's Kenya, instead she's biding her time, feeling everybody out. Yay! The 'morally corrupt' Faye Resnick returns down the line! I like her. I loved it overall. I actually got way more excited watching it than Atlanta, and Atlanta's my overall favorite. I think Beverly Hills is about to take that title over
  18. Atlanta is back, Beverly Hills is back, all is right in the world now You're so right, Atlanta doesn't have to have some epic battle showdown to make it interesting and fun to watch; they just have that IT factor that makes [almost] all of them enjoyable to watch regardless. Glad to hear they got record-breaking numbers. I hope Beverly Hills does the same! I'd love for them to be the No. 2 rated show and oust tired ol' Jersey, but it'll probably take awhile to work their way up to Jersey's numbers, if they ever do. I'm glad to see NeNe being her fresh, sassy self and not bitter sounding. Her snide comments are made purely for comedy (i.e. the trailer where Kim grew up); she doesn't really mean it. It sounds like, from what she's said in interviews lately, that she's pretty cool with all the ladies now. I think after season 3, it was pretty bad between her and nearly everyone else, but things have mellowed. Maybe the big instigator all along was jealous, broke Sheree. Whatever heated emotions NeNe & Kim had against each other 2 years ago has cooled down on both sides to just indifference and wishing each other well in their own separate endeavors. Kenya, oh Lord, she brought too much to the table too soon. If there's a Kenya vs. Cynthia feud all season long, then I could see why Cynthia's opening tagline would be about the beauty fading/class is forever remark. Kim was so full of jealousy with Kandi's fabulous new digs. Kandi's smart with her money. And YES! Mr. Cool Runnings was back and looking good! I'd take Cool Runnings over Papa Smurf any day! I saw dollar bill signs in Greg's eyes when he was talking to NeNe. Mmm... Apollo. That is all.
  19. Ah, thanks for the insight on Sonja. All the former RHONY seasons are on my Christmas Wishlist Just heard the new lines... love! Oh NeNe, there is nobody like you, lol. Cynthia's line about "beauty fades; class is forever" is a throwaway line, ha.
  20. Whoa! A revamp like NYC! (just watched the visuals, no sound on my work computer) But aren't there 2 new girls, not one? Will she be added later? On a related question, was Sonja introduced mid-way through Season 3 of RHONY and that's why there's 2 openings floating around on YouTube, one with and one without her?
  21. Ha! Great overview of BH. We think a lot alike Team NeNe, Lisa, Teresa.... what's your opinion on Ramona? I cannot wait to see Adrienne's downfall.
  22. It started off slowly and I thought, wow this is gonna be a long season, but then once it started generating some good story, it felt like we were just in the middle of the season, not the end. Like the saying goes, "it was just starting to get good!"
  23. YES!!! Those are my 2 favorite! Even better than the hilarious-but-overplayed table flipping shot.
  24. I *so* wanted her to beat Jacqueline's ass at that point. Chris B, interesting information about all the storyline scenarios Bravo worked on to have this big season finale blowout. I could only hope that the Gorgas/Guidices are all in on the scam and are playing out the frustrations on camera, but I don't think they're that good of actors. ITA, the NYC reunion was so... refreshing. Snarkiness, not pure hatred. So much better. And a definite chance that all the ladies could work out their differences next year.
