I’m not really a fan of Christmas music, but I liked this song (unlike Katy Perry’s new Christmas song). It’s about being with someone you love so much that it you feel nostalgic about great memories of your childhood. It’s a nice love song. The lyrics and the video fit well together.

I did early voting and it literally took me 5 minutes to walk into the building and walk out. And even if you do vote on voting day, you don't have to wait the entire day or 5-10 hours like I see on the American news. And what I love about the voting system in Canada is that it's paper ballot and all you have to do is mark an 'X' in the circle beside the candidate's name. Then you put your ballot in a box. Whenever I hear about ballot issues (hanging chads!, electronic machines not working, people having to drive, or being driving to, for hours to find a voting station), I just shake my head. The American elections (campaigns and voting methods) are so chaotic. I don't know, maybe it's easier because we only have 38 million people. As for Harris, I'd love to see her as VP or AG.

Why is that? It's so long! The primaries seems so stupid to me. LOL In this year's Canadian federal election, the campaign was 40 days!

Loved: - her statement with starting off with "The Man" and wearing a dress shirt with all her album titles on it, and then being joined by a group of young girls. Fantastic metaphor. - pointing to Selena Gomez "we were young when I first saw you" - the ballet dancers during Lover Love how she spends half the time complimenting Carole King. When I first saw "Dance Remix" I was like nooooooooo! I thought it was going to be some EDM remix. Then I realized the "first dance" part. LOL The addition of the string instruments (violin?) is so good! It makes the song even more of a wedding song.

Yeah, Shawn's part in the song is so bad. LOL. I've only listen to the song once and that is enough for me - Lover is my favourite song on the album. It's a song she wrote by herself.....it's her memories, it's her story. It's such a personal song that didn't need to be "remixed" with someone else singing on it. Ever since Taylor was cast in Cats, I've wondered what she would sound like singing those "musical" type songs. I really like the lyrics for Beautiful Ghosts and she sounds good, and I do like the song.....I just don't love it. I'm not really a fan of these type of musical-songs. I prefer pop-song-musicals like Grease, Moulin Rouge, Mamma Mia.

I'm glad HOTD is the one we're going to see. Wasn't really interested in a show about Whitewalkers origins.

Another acoustic set: The Man (on guitar), Lover (on piano; at 6:15), Death By A Thousand Cuts (on guitar; at 13:09); All Too Well (on piano; at 20:00) Loved the guitar performances, especially DBATC. I just love the way she plays guitar so I'm glad that she's doing more of that in this era.

You should watch it and decide for yourself instead of reading what others are saying. I saw the movie and thought it wasn't as good as I hoped. Joaquin was phenomenal and I hope he wins the Oscar. These aren't story spoilers but I'll tag them anyway.....they're just general comments but I'll play it safe:

Yes Bianca! She did it! First Canadian (man or woman) to win a grand slam! What a huge year for Canadian sports - with the Raptors winning their first Championship. And first person born in the 2000's to win a grand slam. Bianca's game is so good, and so fun to watch. I love her violent forehand swing, and her crouching swing. That second set was so tense. She was so close to winning and then Serena started to come back and you're just like, "She's only 19......what if she can't handle this pressure?" But she prevailed and that's going to great for her experience, to go through a match like that where the crowd was rooting heavily for her opponent. #SheTheNorth #SheTheChamp

Bianca!! What a second set comeback - down 2 breaks and winning 5 straight games. And battling in the first set against all those break points. This is like a dream for her - playing in your first grand slam final against the greatest ever. Just one more, girl! #SheTheNorth

I don't mind if she "dances" on a few songs. It's not like it's hardcore dances moves - it's just a few moves. I don't see anything wrong with that. I know she's not going to be doing that in her 40's. Speaking of singer-songwriter mode, she did a Live Lounge for the BBC Radio. I really love the Can't Stop Loving You cover, and the re-imagined Holy Ground (maybe that's a preview of what's to come when she re-records her old albums, they'll be new versions?). AAHHH!!! What an album! I knew Taylor wouldn't disappoint me. So many good songs! Snap reaction: the two early standouts for me (not including the 4 songs already released) are The Man and Cruel Summer. I'll post more later, after more listens.

So apparently the album will be put on streaming right away. Say goodbye to the one-million-in-the-first-week streak (pure album sales). I really think she could've got more than one million again if she waited, but I guess streaming rules and she's given in to it. Only Taylor and Adele can sell pure albums, so it will be interesting to see what Adele does with her next album. Ugh, streaming. LOL.

I love this one the most out of the four songs from the album. Favourite parts/lyrics: - Can I go where you go? / Can we always be this close forever and ever? (love singing the "gooooooo" and "cloooooose" in high notes LOL) - And I'm highly suspicious that everyone who sees you wants you / I've loved you three summers now, honey, but I want 'em all - With every guitar string scar on my hand / I take this magnetic force-of-a-man to be my lover The song was written by Taylor; produced by Taylor and Jack Antonoff. It's the first song since "Red" that she's released as a single that she solely wrote. I think it's been 7 years since she released this type of song as a single - a love story with instruments. I loved it!! I thought it was very funny, had some heart, and soapy. My favourite character so far is "Jennie" because I thought she was the funniest/bitchy-est. I really like the concept too - them playing characters that have their names and some of their real life history, and now they're coming together to try and create a "reboot".

Happy that Bianca won, becoming the first Canadian woman in 50 years to win this tournament...........but this is definitely not how anyone wanted it to play out, especially Bianca who dreamed of this moment (playing at home against the greatest of all time in the finals). If she can stay healthy, I think she's going to have a great career.

I've always hated how Billboard does the Hot 100 charts when it came to combining remixes into one. That's a big reason why Old Town Road has the record now. Justin Bieber even came out with a "Bad Guy" remix to try and get Billie Eilish to #1 and prevent OTR from breaking the "Despacito"/"One Sweet Day" record. IMO, a remix should be counted as its own, and not added to the original song.

No surprise there. That's what happens with you get two of the best all time players playing in a 5th set tie break for the championship. Speaking of tie breaks, I really think Wimbledon should change the rules for the 5th set again. I would love it for them to go back to "win by 2" in the 5th set just for the championship - there's no next match to be tired for.
