Maybe or you know with Soaps budgets being so low and Salaries being cut, these actors aren't making the same amount of money like they did in the 80's, 90's and even early 2000's. What does the husband do now anyways?

While is he has been on the CW's All American for the last two seasons, after this season, be no need for him. He plays a high school principal and the main characters are all graduating after this season. He probably was smart to stay on recurring or he would have left already. Same, there really is no need for Hope. Sometimes fans just need a break from a certain character and let them be off campus for a while.

You're 100% right. The 1980's up until early 2000's when the soaps had huge budgets and there were 10 of them, established actors could soap hop for better salaries. Not the same anymore.

At this point, the others that are left are hacks. They all have been recycled to the the our 3 soaps for years. Its time for new blood, a young writer to come in, potentially knows the history of the show. I bet there are hundreds of us that have created some stories for days. A head writer is really coming up with the story's to tell, you have breakdown and script writers that bring it to life.

I do agree under RC is going to be a mess. But I all for Craig if he was in a relationship with a man. Men in their 50's, 60's and up are getting a lot more comfortable coming out and being themselves. Looks at Miranda on Sex and The City, she is around the same age range as Craig and finally coming to terms who they really are. However, with RC, don't feel confident, probably turn into trash as it could have become a great story. Why is it insulting? I don't think it is one bit. Older men and women are finally starting to feel comfortable coming to terms who they really are. We are seeing a lot of people in their 50's, 60's and beyond coming out. For decades they had to hide their sexuality, get married and have kids. I think it would have been a great story, but not under RC. Whoever wrote when Will came out, would have been perfect. Look at Miranda on Sex and the City, she is finally coming to her terms and release who she really is. In all honestly, it would be a great storyline if RC wasn't at the helm. Was that like half of the Lifetime movies back in the late 90's/early 00's lol. Step mother falls in love with stepson and plot to kill father. The actor who plays Nick Newman did a movie like that for Lifetime back in the day.

I created a great story for Ava. I created a story where she becomes bad again and steals basic black, Gabi Chic and Countess Wilhemina Cosmetics from Dimera and Kiriakis empires along with their fortunes. this would include the help of Tyler and Sydney who are aged to teenagers and hate their family names. The thing is, Shawn and Belle just need someone to write for them, how JER wrote for Carrie and Austin back in the 1990s. no one seems to write for them. Give them a good and juicy storyline and they wouldn’t be boring.

Its Kate, she should win worst mother of the century award! Remember back in the 1990's, how she would interfere with Austin and Billie and their relationships with Carrie and Bo. Honestly, I am not shocked her kids are messed up! I wish they would write a story about her kids turning their backs on her, going to therapy and blaming her for everything. Doesn't half of Salem live at the Inn? Why can't Shawn and Belle live at Bo's and Hopes home? I know Days has a crappy budget, but see one living room set and change it to reflect multiple characters home, other than them always at the Salem Inn. Soap Opera Digest still exist!!?? I just finished watching it. I liked it, typical sappy Christmas movie, we can thank Hallmark for all that. Even the streaming services are focus on making and showing them lol. Liked the end with Nicole and the surprise character. I really miss the character of Nick and he makes Gabi so much more tolerable. Wish they didn't make him go crazy and killed him off. Also liked that Gabi was actually focusing on her company and selling her fashions to people. Wish they would focus more on her and her company on the main show. John said at the end when it was snowing, "thought this place had a roof" referring to the square. Does it?? Also, the movie made characters like Gabi, Xander and Kristen so much normal and tolerable. Never watch the story of Brady and Kristen, but they 100% HAD CHEMESTRY! Finally, it does seem to hint that Will and Sonny could come back on the main show soon. Ron does seem to like using them and Leo, which i wouldn't mind him back and flirting with Xander. Will wrote it as fiction for a TV show. Even Sonny was like WTF with some of the ideas Will was writing, like having Roman dead in it or that Nick was alive in it.

There is something about the Sonny recast that make Wilson hotter. Don't know if its the chemistry, or how sexy Zach comes across as Sonny.

The simply can’t afford to have so many people in one spot anymore. It like the 90s or early to mid 2000’s where you can the whole cast and a bunch of extras around. The budget isn’t there anymore. one thing I noticed, what happened to the church? It got smaller and facing a different way now.

From hearing a podcast that Ron was on, it was NBC and Corday that wanted to revisit the storyline, not him. He just went with it. I said this in another forum, i am convinced we are watching Johnny's movie on screen. That will be the twist at the end, we will see it ending with everyone watching the premiere of the movie. Rafe is one of those characters that needs to go. They tried to pair him with almost every woman in Salem and it doesn't work. The actor is just too bland and straight up boring. Time to kill him off and bring back like Mike Horton or Austin or give Shawn more airtime. Galen needs to leave and go work on some Hallmark Christmas movie. If I was HW, he be the first to go. Kill him off and have Shawn take over and give him more airtime.

Why can't they do what they do with Alison Sweeney. Have her come in once every blue moon for a short time and disappear. I would be fine with that regarding Eileen popping in as Kristin. But can we put a pause on all her other characters. I would like Days to redeem Kristin a little. Like have her be in a accident and her memory is wiped out for a while and then bam.. Evil Kristin is back.

I am going to be honest, never saw the appeal in the actor. Ever since watching Passions, he just comes off as basic in the look departments. Don't get me wrong, would love to have his body, but i find guys like Zander and new EJ to be WAY hotter. Maybe its the accent.

I totally forgot Chloe had a sister named Joy. lol. Reasons why i thought she had a daughter. Same thing could happen, Joy is aged to early 20's and becomes a massive famous pop singer. Chloe gets jealous and hooks her on booze and pills to convince her parents to create a conservatorship and ala , Britney storyline in the making.

Chloe and many others need a new direction. However that is the thing with soaps, it about creating drama between couples. Why can't Chloe run a successful music school funded by drug lords? Another could be age her daughter to a teen and cause tension between her and the daughter. Daughter becomes a massive pop singer and goes on a downfall spiral with the success, that leads to drugs, alcohol and do a Britney story where she is under a conservatorship by her mother and the dark side of it.
