  1. I find it odd and random that Javi just happened to mention he had a kid that died unless that was supposed to be some sort of foreshadowing of Tesoro's ultimate fate.
  2. Well there's Sami, and also Theresa is also still relative young and she's already a grandmother with her teen son now a father. I can't think up of anyone else on Days off the top of my head at the moment.
  3. How long do you think it's going to be before he's eventually written out, if that even happehs? Because as far as I can tell the show seems to enjoy having him around right now and he has a good camaraderie with his co-stars.
  4. I feel the same way. I mean, I like the actor, and he seems to be a nice guy from what I can tell on his Instagram, but he isn't exactly how I would have envisioned Ted as a character. He just isn't clicking, especially with Nicole. If the writers' ultimate endgame plan is to reunite Ted and Nicole at some point, then we have a major problem. I definitely believe at some point that the writers are going to realize that there is nowhere else for Ted to go and he ends up dying a pretty horrific death, possibly of Leslie's making. Maybe Leslie causes an incident or some kind of accident that results in Ted being a major casualty or something.
  5. I won't be surprised if that happens at some point. I really don't think we've heard the last of Kenny and his ilk. Also I can't help but think at some point the writers might end up using June as a vehicle to eventually usher Samantha and Tyrell off the canvas when they get bored and tired of writing for them and they need a way to get rid of them.
  6. Honestly, if any of Michael's kids have to be killed off, I pick Daisy. They can pull an O.G. Wiley and have Daisy die of SIDS somehow. I know it would be horrible for Sasha to lose yet another child but she really didn't need a baby with Michael, especially if they were going to get rid of her right after anyway. Two kids is enough for Michael. And Sasha can always have another kid later, or I don't know... maybe they shouldn't have killed off baby Liam and had Sasha and Brando have a HEA with their son when they had the chance.
  7. I have a friend who's visiting from Peru for two weeks and she and her mom were considering flying to Washington, D.C. to visit a friend of theirs. I'm glad they didn't ultimately go through with that plan, considering what's currently unfolding at this point.
  8. I thought that maybe Leslie's dad might've been Dante Green too, but since Peaches mentioned that Barbara got pregnant after she was booted off the Articulettes, it doesn't seem likely. And I'm not exactly sure how this other scenario involving Vernon as the other possible father of Leslie works either. I could be wrong but I was under the impression that the other Articulettes didn't exactly maintain contact with Barbara after she left the group. How would Vernon and Barbara even know each other and maintain a romantic relationship long enough to even conceive Leslie?
  9. So are the writers about to have Leslie turn out to be Barbara's long lost daughter or something? That would be a hell of a twist if that ended up being the case. I mean, if Leslie's sticking around long term, they might as well give her some tie to the canvas. Otherwise, I don't see the point of this whole inheritance story and the sudden appearance of her adoptive mother.
  10. Oddly enough I can definitely see Willow becoming a tradwife social media influencer. That could be very interesting if done right.
  11. If that's the case, then I won't be surprised if the writers end up phasing out Hayley altogether as a character. I mean, what's even the point of this character? She's just there. She could've been an interesting vixen type character, but she's just boring and dull. I don't even want Bill and Dani back together especially since Bill treated Dani horribly during their marriage, but it's pretty clear that there's still an emotional connection between them. Another reason why the whole Dani/Andre story is moot because what's the point of investing in them if they're not even going to last? After yesterday I'm also convinced that Andre/Ashley are endgame, which is just as well. Also I've been thinking what is even the point of Andre as a character? I mean, why is he even there? Did Ted even need a nephew at this juncture?
  12. 1987?! I clocked her as way older than that! What the hell?! I thought she was at least in her mid to late 40s, maybe early 50s at max. I thought she was supposed to be in the same age group as Dani and Nicole.
  13. I think one of the twins is definitely named Deanna; Vanessa's mentioned her name a couple of times. The twins are a boy and a girl. The boy's name has never been mentioned that I know of.
  14. Sounds like it's a temporary break and not permanent. I actually like Joey and we need more villains to stir the pot other than Leslie. In fact I think this show could use more antagonists.
  15. Are we ever going to meet Vanessa and Doug's kids? I feel like the only time we're ever going to see them is whenever they kill off Doug and they show up briefly for his funeral before going back to wherever they came from.
  16. I highly doubt it. They are not going to saddle him with a kid right off the bat, especially a character that a large majority of viewers don't even like anyways. Plus, we don't even know if he's going to be white or black. Also, if the writers are intending to keep Joey around long term, they may want to give him some serious roots, and that might include tying him to some other characters on the canvas, like making Ashley his long lost daughter.
  17. I really hope they don't change anything about Vanessa once Guza leaves. I'm really looking forward to her becoming a badass mob queen with Joey by her side especially once Doug bites the bullet.
  18. Before the whole Emily O'Brien debacle I thought that Briana Lane (who temped for Amanda Setton as Brook Lynn on General Hospital a few years back), would have been a good fit for her.
  19. That would not surprise me in the least. Knowing this show, if Jeremy does come back to town, he's going to be the same person that he's always been just to make Alex look better in comparison. I just can't see him be redeemed, especially since he hasn't been on screen in over two decades. I feel like his only purpose would be as a temporary interloper for Alex/Stephanie and then maybe if he actually sticks around long term, he could be paired with another bad girl/schemer type. But as of right now there aren't too many options for him.
  20. This was a pretty decent episode. But oh my God... what is this show doing pivoting back to Derek and Ashley? What on earth are they planning? Are they going to have Ashley and Andre sleep together and then Ashley is going to have an epiphany similar to Kat where she decides that she doesn't want Andre after all and she's going to go straight back to Derek? Because this is the only thing that makes sense to me. Maybe the whole Derek/Shanice thing was temporary after all because from the look of things perhaps the writers were always planning on circling back to Derek and Ashley sooner or later anyway. Maybe Derek and Ashley really are endgame and Dani and Andre might also be endgame. I just can't see Dani and Bill lasting long term even if at some point Bill breaks up with Hayley and gets back with Dani for a while.
  21. I think Brady needs a brand new love interest that doesn't have the baggage of all of his previous love interests and has a clean slate; he would benefit greatly from that and he wouldn't have to recycle the same old boring love interest. Besides, I'd rather have Chloe be with Philip anyway. I also don't really want Brady and Theresa together either especially since she basically chose money over love and for Brady to go back to her after everything she did to him recently would make him a lot stupider than he already is. Besides that pairing has long since sailed anyway. What is there to revisit? They're about as played out as Kristen/Brady. And these writers have done such a massive hatchet job of Theresa that I really can't see her be a regular character on this show ever again. I won't mind her popping in for occasional visits to see Tate and/or her grandson but that's basically it. If Ken Corday is really serious about Brady being the next gen version of John then he needs to move forward not backward and he needs to finally grow up and be a man. And that includes getting him a woman who doesn't have history with him and doesn't have criminal tendencies or any type of emotional baggage. If that means bringing on a brand new woman in town for him, so be it.
  22. I'm not too bothered by Sharon and Tracy not having had husbands or children. It's not like they are going to stick around long term anyway beyond this reunion concert story. Also I find them pretty annoying and irritating in general, especially Sharon. I just want this story to be over already. Also, what is with everybody trying to push Martin and Smitty back together? Why is this show so afraid of having characters splitting up and getting divorced? Why can't Martin and Smitty just break up permanently and move on to other pairings for a while? They also need to do the same with Ted and Nicole. When is Nicole going to get a divorce from Ted?
  23. I don't know... There is no way that Tyrell and Samantha aren't June's kids because as far as I know, there isn't anyone else currently on canvas that are that age. The only other set of kids I can think of that are that age are Vanessa and Doug's twins but they are away at college right now and I highly doubt we'll see them on the show anytime soon, if ever. Also as far as I know, Vanessa and Doug have never mentioned anything about them being adopted. The one twist I can think of that could happen is if it turns out that June never had any kids and Ron and Cecile are actually Regina's kids and all of the accusations that Regina is hurtling at June... she's just projecting them because she was the one that was a drug addict and abandoned her kids. But it doesn't seem like we're going that route. Then again, you never know with this show. Or maybe the writers introduced Regina as a way to possibly usher the kids off the show if Martin and Smitty actually get divorced and Tyrell and Samantha don't want to live in a divorced household since they are so anxious for their parents to get back together.
  24. It's possible. Who knows at this point?
  25. You mean make her asexual? That would be quite a first for soaps if they go that route.
