  1. What about the live airing on CBS' official website via our local CBS affiliate station?
  2. Credits for Monday, June 30, 2025: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten Writers: Nigel Campbell, Charlotte Gibson, Cathy Lepard Director: Allison Reames Smith
  3. Perhaps after this week's break⏤and this is purely speculative⏤the new regime of Tracey Thomson could be debuting?
  4. Very interesting; nice to see they're being included. But shocking, considering neither of them have an official GH/network publicity head shot.
  5. I'm tending to agree with you on this; it is jarring when they pop out of nowhere, especially during summer months, and then during winter they absolutely disappear. The only soaps I feel do it right are Australian/British soaps, especially British, as their sets are permanent fixtures (i.e., EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, etc.)
  6. You want everything and a bag of chips. Well, weather in Georgia (where they film) versus weather in the DMV area (where serial is set) are two different weathers. And I can guarantee if they did fake snow outside, people would've hated it.
  7. Well, they were only contracted through August 2025 for filming (November 2024 – August 2025), so it's likely they would be told they film "season two" beginning in September (as a result of the renewal), but CBS could still advertise for a second season for September, alongside the other two soaps.
  8. Considering we got a second season pickup, I'd wager they were happy enough with them. But again, we also have [potential/unconfirmed] ideas, as presented by Errol here: a.k.a., unless CBS states otherwise, we'll never truly know.
  9. I feel like Errol has been pretty upfront in that it's demos that matter most to networks.
  10. K. I might [finally] be good at locking into Coronation Street after many false starts. I'm beginning to feel a connection to [some] characters, and I can see the allure of the show.
  11. Oh, of course; I only brought up Guza Jnr because many name Pratt⏤much like Phelps or Frons⏤and immediately discredit them, without any merit of the person's own résumé (which Thomson's speaks for itself).
  12. Absolutely! And I am sure with them, per their own admission, using every cent of their previous budget is going to go a long way with the network/production, even in the budget reduction. From my experience (in a non-entertainment business, mind you), the less budget you use, the more that gets taken away the next time it comes around. So, them using their budget, I am sure, helped them out. And all of these make more sense than anything else that's been spewed as "reasons" elsewhere. But people will do what they do. And, like you said, if there were budgetary issues, etc., they would have course-corrected a while ago, and we would have likely heard about it. And the same would go with casting decisions, etc., despite what [many] think, as well.
  13. This is why the modern age of social media, etc., is dangerous because everyone runs rampant with ideas as to why something is being done. "Oh, it's because of budget," "Oh, it's getting canceled," "Oh, that show is sucking," etc. It's a cesspool of false information being placed out there.
  14. And she worked with Guza Jnr on GH for a time, so that's the likely connection to her coming into BTG. Perhaps he recommended her as his successor, and Val Jean felt comfortable doing that.
  15. And it shows. 🤣
  16. Breakdown role, so same as the "writer".
  17. I'm sad to see Gregori J. Martin exit his role as breakdown writer, because I've liked his breakdowns a lot since the series' premiere. But I understand his focus is on his own baby; perhaps he can come back as an alternating breakdown? I know that is unrealistic, but... it'd be nice. As for Tracey Thomson, I don't absolutely love it, but I'm having faith she was chosen as the writer person to continue bringing the best of the best this soap is capable of giving. Plus, given she worked with Robert Guza Jnr, I'm going to have faith she'll continue to bring something to the table.
  18. I love her positive outlook on it; ah, Michele, never change! Please! I am trusting that CBS is doing what they feel is the right thing to do, whether it's agreed with or not. I'm putting my trust in them, the same way I have since the soap was announced.
  19. YOU DON'T BUY SONNY FLIRTING WITH THE 1,000TH WOMAN IN THE WORLD TO FLIRT WITH?!?! WHY?!?!!? C'MON, THAT'S WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO THINK [AGAIN]?!?!?! C'MON!!! DON'T YOU LOVE IT?!?!!?
