It's per CBS / Sony Pictures Television. When Jill Farren Phelps was hired, she was told to "update" everything, from music to production, so therefore classic cues were axed.

Kate Linder is on a life-long, non-ending deal. She is a series regular, period. Point blank. And CBS is usually spot-on with their credits, more so than ABC / NBC.

I think that was because it was streaming, so things are likely considered different... but, I am sure if it aired on NBC they wouldn't have used Ackles' scenes.

It wasn't meant to be; we're still one a one-day delay, due to a pre-emption! Hence why I believe we're getting a new episode today (originally meant to air yesterday) instead of the usual six-month-ago repeat.

I did notice that; I missed those posts, despite how repetitive they are. We Love Soaps always did a top-notch job with those kind of posts.

Tracy Melchior has stated on IG she has not been asked, and thinks if they ARE killing Eric off, then it should be a no-brainer to bring them all back.

Per today's end credits, she is only credited as "Jordan" and is recurring. Same with J. Eddie Peck.

Wasn't the writer the head writer? If so, that's all we need to know, given his on-going history with r*pe storylines.

I could see it... but at the same time, I can't...? If that makes sense? I've seen clips, and Christina Chambers was not necessarily bad. But you can tell the material was suffering from Susan Haskell not returning. Maura's always spoken well of Roger, yes. And, I agree: the roles for Easton & Howarth should have ended at McBain & Manning, however, I cannot be made at Howarth becoming Franco for the simple fact we got Maura as Ava. Roger Howarth & Michelle Stafford had some real good chemistry! I feel bad for Sarah Joy Brown. I feel like she's often given the short-end of the stick in daytime. I liked her as Julia on As the World Turns, and thoroughly liked her as Madison on Days of Our Lives... until they uprooted that character by hiring Ian Buchanan. Well, when she was cast on Days of Our Lives, Brown did say in daytime it's difficult to step into someone else's role, but wouldn't rule out being a recast. But, I think the reasons you've mentioned, mixed with the notion of being a recast is part of why she turned it down.

Leading? 🤣 This is long overdue. Now, if only Michael Easton & Robert Gossett could follow! I noticed that, too. It switched from Franco to Carly... and now it makes sense.
