  1. Kate Mansi debuted as Abigail in March 2011, and Shelley Hennig exited as Stephanie in April 2011.
  2. Her face is pulled so tight... not a cute look, but I guess she wants to look good for her second (and final) Emmy.
  3. DAYS: Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is the replacement for Abigail (then-Marci Miller). GH: The quick return of Jordan (Tanisha Harper) was a replacement for the exiting Shawn (then-Sean Blakemore).
  4. Definitely. Go, do your movie, promote it and you're done. LOL.
  5. He played Dr. Arnold in one episode in 2007, and then played Dr. Peter Ryan from 2007–2008; my guess is they changed the name, and Dr. Arnold and Dr. Ryan are the same character. He's also been on Days of Our Lives in two guest roles (2008, 2010) and on General Hospital as Judge Oliver Young from 2021–2022, as seen below:
  6. Ah, it makes more sense, now, haha. And nah. Not aging yourself at all! Love hearing experiences like this. I really do. I just doubt Lenz wants a return to daytime; she seems content doing her Hallmark holiday films at this point, but I also got a sense from watching her Locher Room interviews that she looked back well at her Guiding Light days, so who knows.... maybe the opportunity will knock? Oh, definitely. It is dull in execution; he & Laura Wright do have some chemistry (stemming from the What If... episodes), but Drew & Carly, respectively, share zero chemistry, and it shows.
  7. Oh, that's so unfortunate to hear, re: Frantz & Lenz. Whew. Oh, that is entirely what happened... "Oh, you're willing to adhere to the vaccine mandate? Cool! You're in!"
  8. Lenz, to me, is visually compatible to Herbst, in terms of being a sister. Plus, it'd tie-in the fact Lenz replaced Budig on Guiding Light, LOL! As for Tognoni, she is 50 years old and Robin Christopher is 58. By comparison, Carrie Genzel is 52, so Tognoni is within the age-range of Skye based on two previous portrayers. The moment Cameron Mathison shaved his face he lost his lure as Drew, for me. Josh Kelly would've been a more suitable pick, visually, but age-wise, he'd be off (though, closer to Miller). But, it's clear they wanted someone closer to Steve Burton's age.
  9. 🤣 Never going to let me live that one down, and no, not Gina Tognoni. She's firmly in my "Skye Chandler Quartermaine" recast folder. My prime pick⏤which I know is likely never to happen⏤would be Bethany Joy Lenz. Meh. I wasn't even a Jason fan until Miller stepped into the role, but you are right: he had some nice chemistry with Rebecca Herbst & Kelly Monaco, and he worked well with those he shared scenes with within the family, both as Drew & Jason.
  10. I agree, re: Miller, and prior to him taking on the role of Jason I was not a fan of his. But he really did well in the role and kind of transitioning Jason back into a Quartermaine, which was largely missing for such a long time. I genuinely don't think Hayden was meant to be Liz's sister, but it was a decision the writer made at last minute to continue Hayden's presence on the canvas. It still makes little sense to me right now. And I'd love to see Sarah cast in 2024!
  11. Ask the "writer," haha. It would have made sense to just make her Sarah and bring the character back, instead of retconning things to suit one's own delusional preconceived notions their stories are worthwhile and pay-off. And then tie-in Billy Miller's casting as Jason Morgan? Whew. Choices. Honestly, I'd love to see Sarah return to Port Charles, but it seems like the writing regimes really dislike the character.
  12. If I were Liz I'd run, too. I wouldn't want my sister's ex-fiancé and niece in my life that way.
  13. I liked Violet and always thought the actress was cute, especially with her lisp. However, the moment she began ordering dinner and dates, et al, is when the allure wore off. Now? Hayden can come back to town, visit Elizabeth & others, collect Finn & Violet, and leave town, and when she returns, both are living without her somewhere in Europe or something.
  14. I am so hoping that the mock situation with Martin & Finn would re-ignite the desire to put Alexis back in the legal world, because damn.... Nancy Lee Grahn plays it oh-so well!
  15. I don't hate the pivot; would I have preferred the professor route? Sure. But, I need my lawyer Alexis back so Diane can go bye-bye (unless we recast the role).
  16. Seeing Alexis in the mock setup just... makes me desire for Alexis' law license to be re-instated.
  17. Watching these Blaze & Kristina scenes, and I cannot help but really like what they're doing and how they're doing it.
  18. Seeing all of the classic faces this past week was fun; it felt like another way of acknowledging the series in the ways they weren't ultimately able to prior to the series' 2022 conclusion. I hope more of this happens as time goes on.
  19. Well, aren't they in Boston because that's where Laura was when she was alive?
  20. Considering Ellen Wheeler's office was in some hotel-looking closet, that goes to show it was working on a very basic budget (which cast then was trying to sell as "great product"). I mean, one "house" housed sets and makeup, etc. It was BAD. Real bad. It would have been but, again, it was too early for this kind of thing to happen. And as someone else pointed out, even TOLN suffered from the move (due to mismanagement from Prospect Park). Oh, what a fun read! Thanks for sharing! SAME! Or any of the older dames, too. F**k. I'd dive for that, too, whether I used it or not, haha. Damn. RIP.
  21. MADD? For me, it was the camera work. My biggest pet peeve ⏤ and I know this isn't always workable ⏤ is when outdoor scenes look like they are shot on entirely different cameras than on a set, and post does not try and match them more. yes, TOLN matched more than Peapack (or even P&G's final As the World Turns years), but it was still a bit... jarring. But again, for the time (TOLN meaning) it was very well done.
