  1. It's just Jackée being Jackée, and that's my issue with her. She is such a limited actor. I've always wanted to see Paulina written as a character and not Jackée living in Salem and to see someone else play the role.
  2. I agree. Nor did I see it as Bible thumping like some have mentioned. Nothing about it felt Tyler Perry-esque at all.
  3. I agree; her hair looked fine. Better than the football helmet of a 'style' they kept giving her when it was shorter.
  4. Gary James Fuller has to be the most charismatic child actor this soap has hired in forever. He really does bring a lightness and joy to whichever scenes he is in as James.
  5. Credits for Wednesday, March 11, 2026: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten Writers: Nigel Campbell; Charlotte Gibson and Cathy Lepard Director: Robert Markham
  6. original release date: Wednesday, March 11, 2026 | writers: Sara A. Bibel, Danielle Paige | director: Steven Williford Thoughts: Poor Shiloh is catching Dana's strays when he is just trying to do his job. Looks like Marcel sucks at paying attention to women. But hopefully he can reel Dana is so she's less of an annoyance to Joey. I am sorry... Where does Katherine want to move to? You went from your own condo to moving into the Dupree family home? Oh. DEANNA! WELCOME HOME! So thrilled to finally meet you! Omg. Gorgeousness! Uh-oh... looks like Lynette could make a play for Bill Hamilton and be true competition for Hayley. Perhaps Lynette should link up with Dani and really cause things to shake up. Randy thinks highly of himself and his supposed sizeable measurements. Mona doing the classic headslap. Haha. Cause they were nasty in public. 🤣 Never change. Katherine might want to double-think moving into her grandparents' home. Not Derek flat-out quitting because of Dana's obnoxious self. Ooo-wee. Not Mona almost snapping and then telling both Lynette and Randy they need Jesus. That was comical. And, oops, I do not think Vernon wanted to see Hayley in her lingerie in the Hamilton living room. That must be super uncomfy. I wonder... what could Bill possibly do that could cause Dana to remain beyond the gates of Fairmont Crest? Notes: Bibel and Paige worked quite well on today's script. And Williford had such a sharp eye with his direction. In a very weird way, I buy Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa) and Angela Fairley (Deanna) as mother and daughter. Kim Coleman once again does her magic with casting. I know many have b*tched at laughable levels about Jon Lindstrom's outfit. That is not the issue. It's the fabric and how it films. That is the true issue.

  8. And all nine on Pluto TV! And it appears to be the remaster, too!
  9. I just realised the first six seasons of Dynasty are on Tubi, and it appears to be the remastered version that was on the CW's streaming platform. Ads be damned. I know what I'm going to be watching.
  10. I hope Nikki finally does make Victor deal with her. I'm tired of them teasing this leadership from Nikki only to have her cower back to being obediently submissive to him.
  11. Titan, rest assured, we are in agreement. I wish better for both soaps, especially GH right now. But I just don't see either soap truly changing, especially Y&R, whose biggest issue is its writing.
  12. And I have never denied Frank's ability to bring GH back from the brink of its ending in 2012. Yes, even the writer is part of that. But clearly, Frank's leadership held a lot of that weight. I never denied Frank's leadership; I supported him until the last few years when I began to see significant flaws in his approach. However, GH was kept during the AMC/OLTL ending era because of its performance on digital platforms and [supposedly] its lower production costs in comparison to the other two. It was viewed as a stronger financial entity in comparison. Of course ABC had their eyes on GH following the ending of those two shows, but GH was able to rebound and outperform itself. Unfortunately, I cannot speak on anything regarding OLTL, as I hated that soap with a fiery passion and never followed it. All I know is that soap, outside of the Frank/writer era, was superior. That's not what Jill said, though, regarding Maureen. What she did say was that it was okay to kill a role off so long as you avoid making the audience care about the character; in the process of killing Maureen, they made the audience care more about her. But she's admitted she made the mistake of killing off the character. She's owned up to that and has apologised for doing so multiple times. At least she isn't a child named Donna. 😬
  13. Ew. He should never be on a soap set ever again.
  14. The problem is 'new' people coming in, especially those without experience in daytime, is going to be just as much of a risk as re-hiring the old guard, because they don't understand how things run and they are not taught things in the way they used to be with the likes of William J. Bell, Agnes Nixon, etc. I don't deny that Jill's history speaks for itself. I've always said she has made some questionable decisions, but at the same time, I've also said she runs with a business mindset, not a creative one. I've always held that perspective where Jill is concerned. And that comes with positives and negatives. But I also cannot sit and say she produces a boring show (I'm not saying you are saying that), but if I were comparing Frank to Jill, it's going to be Jill I'd go with. Budget be damned. Yes, she may have produced a show overbudget, but we never suffered visually from it. We can applaud Frank for the set changes he has made, but that can only go so damn far. Sets cannot carry the show visually. Everyone continues to mention Genie and Jill, but Genie has always spoken highly of Jill, and I feel that Jill has done the same regarding Genie.
  15. ^^ This. Again, Frank is a budget guy, while Jill was a business-minded person. Both have their strengths and both have their weaknesses. I can both understand and see this POV. I do. Her track record speaks for itself (Ellen Parker/Genie Francis/Anna Lee et al.), but I do think she learnt her lesson. I do. She made difficult decisions that even she herself says she shouldn't have made. And that speaks volumes to me that someone can acknowledge the mistakes they've made. But I don't believe she's gone into any of the shows with the intent of "killing" them, as many have claimed. Plus, she does have a strong eye for casting the right actor for a role and even music. Frank drowns his scenes to create 'drama', whereas Jill never needed to do that.
  16. I don't. I believe she is a woman who operates in a male-dominated industry. But one thing I can say is whenever she was EP (I've only seen GH/Y&R live and some clips of SB), her soaps moved with pace and were not boring to watch. People b*tch and complain she hires her "friends", but everyone does that. Everyone else is called out on it, but because she is a woman, she is called out on it more, which highlights the double standards in the industry regarding gender and hiring practices. And I truly believe she's learned from those mistakes. I do. She runs a business and has a business mindset, which I like. Just in the same way, I believe she was given orders for Y&R and delivered on those orders (making it modern without the guideline of what the network wanted). What Frank does best (and even I think he's struggling at this point) is handle the budget. If it came down to Frank or Jill, I'm choosing Jill every single time. Without a question. Ultimately, I'd choose a new EP over bringing back a former one, but given the state of GH and my belief that ABC is not as dedicated to it as some would believe, it's hard to name someone. I have thoughts but they're highly unlikely to happen.
  17. I'd take Jill back in a split second. Her GH was never boring.
  18. This storyline concerning Britt's Huntington's Disease and withholding medication is beyond tone-deaf and disgusting. The fact Valentini, Varni, Korte, and Van Etten thought this was something that should be told tells me all I need to know about their taste levels.

  20. original release date: Tuesday, March 10, 2026 | writers: Michael Montgomery, Skyy Sandifer | director: Michael V. Pomarico Thoughts: Ouch, Bradley... you are a bit frosty with Nicole, who is just doing you a favour by bringing the shoes for Cotillion. Brr. I am clutching my pearls... Jacob is snapping at Grayson. I did not know he had that kind of fire and edge inside of him. PDA at the country club? Vanessa is being as bold as ever. But I like it. Mile High Club? Never been. Never flown. But I would sign up! Hmm... what is wrong with this chosen photographer? Seems like Dani is having second doubts. Ah, Olek sounds like a typical male in the industry they work in. Discriminating against the 'older' female models. Oh Grayson, careful. Be very careful about mentioning Jacob's marriage right now. You are already in this plasma ring; do not worsen it for yourself. I love that Andre and Pamela are rallying around Dani to give her the confidence that she needs to do the shoot with Olek. Vanessa is a what? Business 👏🏻 Woman 👏🏻 and we love 👏🏻 to 👏🏻 see 👏🏻 it. I love how supportive Nicole is of Bradley. I just hope he takes her up on that offer if he feels like he truly needs it. Rashad! OK, Just Rashad, like Cher or Prince. I see you. Looks like Joey wants his $10k from Dani over her failed first year... let us see how it unfolds. He is coming up on the one-year anniversary so the clock is ticking. Ugh... you can tell how heartbroken Vanessa is to turn down the offer given to her by Pamela. I would be heartbroken, too, but she has a long-term game plan at play right now. Ugh. Douglas' death has not been dealt with because she is handling Joey. The poor dear. I adore that Dani is rubbing her younger man in Nicole's face in such a playful way! 🤣 That is hilarious. Notes: Montgomery's experience as a continuity producer continues to be beneficial in his role as a breakdown writer. His scripts feel rooted in the history of the show. And Sandifer did a fantastic job with dialogue/script work today, as well. Pomarico's direction was tight today. He gave some amazing shots of the actors that felt very complementary. And I love that we continue to get alternative/new angles of sets we have had since the beginning. Ernestine Johnson (Shanice) and Keith D. Robinson (Ted) have electric chemistry; I know it feels like they tested Robinson with some other female co-stars on the canvas, but he and Johnson just hit on day one. So I am glad they are sticking with them. I notice they keep Jon Lindstrom (Joey) and Cady McClain (Pamela) separate in scenes. Coincidental? Possibly. But it is very apparent.
  21. Finally, at long last, catching up... Noel has definitely shifted some of the production, and it feels like there is finally some kind of intent with this soap again. We still have quite a ways to go, but it feels like "sticking a thumb up one's backside and hoping it sticks," which happened during Janet's regime, is gone. Honestly, Wes Ramsey works better as Owen Kent than he ever did as Peter August, so that's a positive. The Lexie reveal is interesting; I foresaw it when the extended preview came out, and it was Paulina reacting to it, but I still feel like it may be someone other than Lexie. I don't know. I detest these persistent resurrecting-from-the-dead storylines, particularly in this soap opera, given that Corday was the one who declared "death is dead" during the 50th episode! Overall, it's slowly beginning to feel like Days of Our Lives is becoming a soap opera again. However, I still feel like this could have been airing on NBC... nothing about this is screaming "Peacock exclusive". What's positive that came out of it? They updated the cameras for Peacock.

  23. Not only was the pepper-off ridiculous to no end... the gall of both the Slut and her husband is laughable, pathetic, and childish.
