OK, turns out, Kimberly Bell, who was Katherine's mother was Cody's illegal-adoptive mother. But the father's are different? Katherine's father was Avery Stanton, while Cody's illegally-adoptive one is "Mr. Bell".

If he were hired, this soap would be over before it began airing. Don't do it, Michele. PLEASE! This hack should just go back to reporting "wishful castings".

Related, but different Bells that provided the last name. It's just how things lined up; only one of the times Robert Adamson has come in has been explained (not like we need to know why. That's personal). His initial stint was COVID-related (per Chad Duell's own words) and, due to how filming is now done, he appeared sporadically from June to July 2022. He appeared in two episodes in September 2022⏤no reason was given (and anyone stating a reason is purely speculative). This latest stint was explained as a "scheduling conflict" on behalf of Duell⏤and again, anyone stating otherwise is purely speculative.

I'm sure it'll shoot a bit more like an American soap, with multi-camera. But judging from the photo Val Jean shared, I get classic soap mixed with TOLN-style/British style mixes. I'm excited that the directors are going to be NEW and likely exclusively to Beyond the Gates. I'm also hoping for [proper] 4K production. GH uses 4K cameras but isn't 4K, and DAYS has 4K lighting (per an interview with Melissa Reeves), but we saw how crap that looked for years, until Peacock dished for some camera upgrades (and while improved... it's still not good). Makes me happy to see [some] darker wall colours, which I feel like isn't seen much anymore.

I really like the visual, and it makes me enjoy the song more. And the darker hair just works better than the blonde on her, as well.

Barely an affair, lmao.

I cannot think of anyone more deserving; a show-runner who knows what she is doing.

I noticed that, too. Makes me wonder if things either changed from the original breakdown, or if it was a mis-type in the press release that wasn't overlooked well-enough. Or we have two Hamiltons that are not related.

While I don't disagree, there is difference between "thirsting" (have a strong desire for something) and suggesting borderline predatory behaviour (which includes but not limited to making sexualized comments, among other things). That's where I personally draw the line. 🤷🏻‍♂️
