The conversation probably would have hit harder coming from Amanda and not Billy. CK and her portrayal of Lily has benefited from colorism more so than any character/actress I can recall.

It’s very weird seeing a normal Tricia Dennison on the show. Lol Ash Bashioum was very powerful her first year on the show. Wish she got more opportunities like this her last year or so on the show.

Word! Anyone who looks closer to late 30s and not over 45 pushing 50. Im still surprised they haven’t pushed him out yet for BM...not that I actually want him back, but he makes better sense casting wise than JT.

He sure is! Bold maybe repetitive, but the show still looks presentable and like a Bell soap.

Anthony Marino is awful, but I doubt Ed Scott or David Shaghnessy is walking through the door anytime soon sadly.

I wonder if they want Dansby input to help with the upcoming Nate/Devon/Amanda/Elena quad. Sounds like a CBS here because Josh barely cares for that group.

I doubt Josh could write for someone like Mac as portrayed by Ashley B the way the show is currently constructed. She’s too normal for the current audience. Not sure who uploaded 3/23/01 in the vault, but it doesn’t have any sound. Not sure if this was intentional or not.

I’ve never understood why they struggled to recast Mac. Bashioum was my favorite, and I could only dream about her returning. I would actually watch the show again if she did. I assume they would go back KK if they brought the character back. I didn’t mind her in Bac 2.0, but she’s more of a vanity pick based on how the show is branded nowadays. Maybe she would work in the right dynamics.

I wouldn’t mind if all three came back even though I’ve always been iffy about KK playing Mac.

David was acting in The Bay last I heard. He was hot. They could use his acting talents on the show right about now.

I absolutely agree. I never thought Phick had romantic chemistry. It was always sexual, but as a society we now value quick and easy relationships along with dysfunction and the fans loved them. I think it’s part of the reason why BM received so much clout as Billy. There is no way, in my opinion, Kay Alden could have written for him with Mac in 2000, but people enjoy charisma, fun, and sex rather than simple, romantic and decent characters now. And I hate what happened to Sharon over the past decade too. I’m not sure if SC would get screen time if she was written how she was in 1994 unfortunately. Look at Elena. She’s barely written for because she’s too nice, but characters like Chelsea who are annoying and useless keep coming back. When the writers try to write for heroines people call them boring and they drop the story.

He could definitely act circles around most of his male counterparts on the show right now. Too bad they couldn’t develop him a good story and kept him around in 2004.

I would actually want to watch the Winters if VR returned. No interest in Devon or Lily.

A character like Sheila should never be around too long. Still surprised Michael and Kevin have lasted this long despite their prior psychopathic behavior. Wish Sheila would show up again and knock off a few characters.

Great! Do you have the next episode with Billy and Mac breakup scenes? I wish Ashley Bashioum stuck around to play those scenes with David Tom instead of KK. Although I’m not sure if the broke them up to give KK room to grow outside the pairing or if it was planned from the beginning. Thanks

Technically most latinos are caucasians who speak Spanish but geographically located in Latin America. The same how African Americans are blacks with African descent but located in America.

Spot on! I feel like I’m watching GH now rather than a Bill Bell created soap. Doesn’t help when many cast members are recent GH cast offs.
