I’m so tired of Hope being the wronged/battered wife while Steffy is the jezebel who cant keep her legs closed. All the while Liam skates again. Bill has zero investment in Steffy/Finn. He’s just using Finn as a prop to simmer down people tired of the before mentioned triangle. Someway somehow Finn will be the bad guy in this story. Either it will be because he drives a wedge between Steffy and Liam parenting or he turns out not to be a nice guy all the while Liam will get to be the hero and forgiven again.

I want Mac back, but I don’t know if I want Kruger playing the role. She seems slightly improved since her initial stint but still not up to par. Impeachment trial definitely screwed up the timeline. Oops.

Lol. He’s serviceable, I guess. Honestly, none of the current black characters will ever replace the magic of the OG Winters/Barber clan.

It’s like Josh conveniently ignores history prior to 2008. Honestly, I think someone just said let’s bring her over to Y&R without much thought to how she would fit in. I would say, if this was Y&R about 10 years, she would be fine. In this current version she doesn’t fit in. She feels like a better fit on GH.

It’s 2021, so I can see nearly all of them gone by then. Y&R and Bold may get another renewal, but I don’t expect soaps to be a thing on daytime later this decade.

Reminds me of Mac doing the same for Lane so she can have purpose in life. 🙄 Let’s see what comes of it.

I agree that Sony is content with Josh Griffin at this point even if he tanked the ratings since his return. They will just ride with him until CBS pulls the plug probably because no one much better is available and there is no way they are allowing anyone from the Bill Bell writing tree to return at this point.

Sharon had too much work done already too soon. I think her nose job affected her voice because she sounds completely different compared to even 5 years ago.

I can’t see Ashley Bashioum and DT playing out finding out they were cousins. I can’t see HT’s Victoria with Billy or JT. I can’t see MS’s Phyllis hooking up with Billy. I can’t see Davetta Sherwood’s Lily with Cane.

I think your assessment is correct. I do think JM and MS prefer working with each other, and I believe the last time she left she had a falling out with JM and PB or maybe it was just PB.

I think it’s because MS wanted Phick as part of her deal when she came back and JG is obliging despite Phack being the superior pairing. Well at least what I’ve heard....

I kinda felt Kay Alden started the process of tanking the next generation by killing Mac and Billy. JT and Britney never did it for me as younger lead characters and they were loosely connected to the overall cast. To the original poster, I do think Jolleen should have been the endgame couple. I think the writers overestimated the appetite for a Mac/JT pairing because they saw Thad as the new “it” guy within the teen scene after Jolleen was successful and thought the fans who were watching during the height of Mac and Billy’s story would root for him as a replacement for their girl. It didn’t happen and barely anyone cared. Britney and JT did make sense because in 2000 JT did want Britney. I think the writers should have put them together once Raul left instead of having Britney with Bobby and JT with Mac before eventually reuniting Jolleen. I kinda blame it on poor recasting and too many regime changes at HW and EP. They also attached too many younger characters like Lily and Billy to people like Victoria and Cane for years. Speaking of SORAS, JT’s Billy is too old.

A lot of people in their 30s-50s are aging slower than their parents. Probably due to most people not having as many kids, smoking education, and better lifestyle practices. Even the 20 year olds on the show look younger compared to actors 25 years ago. It’s probably why Kyle and Summer always look like a teen couple rather than adults lol
