  1. Ok, then maybe she has the same cadence or affect that the Martin actor has where things come across a bit monotone and it doesn't read well all the time especially for more emotional scenes. I personally struggle to watch her acting. She has always been at the bottom of my list for acting ability on this soap, but like Martin I hope to see they improve with support and guidance.
  2. I agree that Alison is coming across crazy. I personally don't agree that she is doing a terrible job. Is she amazing, no, but she is selling crazy pretty well. I'm actually shocked more people aren't having criticism about RhonniRose's acting.
  3. So Chelsea had all those dream sequences telling her how to act in this situation and she has taken none of the advice. These Duprees love to meet about sensitive information in public places. The FBI agent probably should have met Vernon and Anita at home. I get it, there aren't enough sets. I'm not sure why I wasn't shocked Craig wasn't Alison's husband. I sorta figured that when she started tracking down/stalking Chelsea and faking that injury. I didn't realize it was a twist until I read some of the comments here. I guess in my mind I had already assumed it to be true. They really could have developed this Alison stuff more fully so that it would have more of an impact. We saw Chelsea leave with this couple one time and it was dropped for a while until Chelsea decides she wants to see Alison alone. Alison turned her down, but the question is what was her reason/goal for doing this? Chelsea was offering her what she wanted. It's not like Chelsea met Madison and decided to push Alison away and then Alison went psycho. I enjoyed seeing Hayley and Caroline. Caroline telling Hayley to message Bill under the guise that Caroline doesn't want to start a movie they won't finish is so real. I loved that tiny nuance of a friend giving you advice on how to approach a situation.
  4. Loved this...nice seeing Caroline.
  5. Is Kim Cattrall doing anything these days? She played a good Samantha.
  6. I thought the same thing while watching today. I feel the opposite. Rhonni was pretty bad and the actress that plays Alison was okay and decently gave off stalker vibes. I can see that now that you mention it, but they're definitely getting it on soon.
  7. Don't get me started on that 🙄 I feel like they might be pushing Jacob and Kat. While I dob't necessarily love another cheating story, it does cause major ripples throughout. The fallout when Naomi finds out. How Chelsea will take it being Kat is her best friend/business partner and Naomi her sister. How Dani will take the news and what tension it might cause with Dani and Nicole.
  8. I mean that bed so cheap and that chain so flimsy, Chelsea could have pushed that dresser easily and dragged that whole bed easily if she really wanted to.
  9. I think this plays into some viewers thinking stories take too long to develop when they are cycling them in and out in this way. We have stories like June rediscovering her children and Leslie's financial windfall that move at the speed of light and skip several beats and then we have stories that are dropped for several weeks to resurface again out of the blue. Sometimes it works and other times it really doesn't. Definitely something they need to sort out for season 2.
  10. I also thought it might be Allison's partner when they decided to not show who had taken Chelsea. However, as mentioned before, the show has gone for the obvious so it most likely is Allison.
  11. My thought exactly when I saw Ted invite Eva to Kat and Chelsea's launch. How thoughtless to not even consider Kat's feelings knowing how tense Eva and Kat's relationship has been. It's not the time to force some kumbaya moment, Teddy. Story is moving wayyyy too fast. I feel like we have all these major stories in motion or limbo and now we've been thrown a curveball with Chelsea being abducted. If we look at a weekly snapshot, I've seen primetime shows move slower at this point.
  12. Yeah, that was a choice...of words.
  13. Really enjoyed the Ted/Andre/Dani scene. It felt real and genuine. It felt soap. This is something I feel this soap has struggled with, but I loved Dani reading Ted down and seeing Andre's facial expressions as he's caught in the middle. NuTed has more chemistry with Leslie than he does with his own wife. Although, in the actor's defense we've hardly seen NuTed have much interaction with his wife besides watching Nicole put him down...rightfully so tho. I love that Bill put those Duprees in their place. He was absolutely right. They need to stop acting like he's the scum of the earth and then want him to clean up their messes. It really frames the Duprees as comolex characters that are flawed. I think coming into wealth has given them a superiority complex and they have built these walls as defenses to keep others away that may want to take advantage of this wealth and status. It's probably why they see all the non-Duprees as less than while the Duprees can do no wrong. Bill, Ted and Jacob have all mentioned this in one way or another.
  14. Well he did steal her virginity and did a lousy job. Stealing is a crime isn't it? Straight to jail, Tomas.
  15. Ha! I similarly didn't want to bring down the mood, because it seemed like everyone was raving about it. Then I saw AllMyShadows post and I was like ok so I'm not the only one.
  16. Dana Leslie vs. Anita was fantastic! Cracked me up that my first post at the start of today's episode was 🎶 Big girls don't cry, big girls don't lie 🎶 and it's what Leslie sang on her way out of the Dupree's mansion. I can't with Andre's facial expressions but at least he's toned down that huffing and puffing when delivering lines. I hope they're not pushing Kat and Jacob. As exciting as that drama might be, it just demonstrates how Dupree (and relatives) heavy this cast is and we don't need Kat sleeping with her cousin's man just yet. We already have Andre sleeping with his "aunt."
  17. I just came here to say this. What the hell is she wearing!!!
  18. I know! TMG is so good. Lord the actor that plays Derek's acting is painful. Shanice needs to give him PT and acting lessons.
  19. 🎶 Big girls don't cry, big girls don't lie 🎶
  20. Yes, the turnaround from June learning that Tyrell and Sam don't want to see her again to her forcing an interaction and then claiming she is going to change because they will need her was absurdly quick. However, that aside, June gave them up and she knew what that meant. When she came to the realization that something had to change for the sake of her kids, she didn't seek help to get clean or asked her sister to take care of her kids so she can make the necessary changes. June decided giving them up and losing them forever was the best option. The only reason she found them is because Naomi and Jacob gave her details about a closed adoption. It was strange seeing her entitlement to having their time and acceptance.
  21. Ok, I thought I was the only one after reading so much support for the June stuff today. I am not into it at all. However, there are other things keeping me watching.
  22. After Peaches explanation today, I pretty much said the same thing. I settled to the idea they just want to make Leslie rich and they are trying to expedite it for whatever reason without crafting a very logical story. This man has been with Nicole for 30 years and doesn't even know how to approach her. The number of times someone else has convinced Ted to talk to Nicole for him to allow her to shut in down without a fight is embarrassing. Like do you want your wife back or not?
