Agreed! It’s disgusting that Y&R is using Kristoff’s death to win awards! If he hadn’t died, they’d have nothing to submit. Deplorable. They should all be ashamed of themselves.

I’m guessing they submitted scripts dealing with Kristoff St. John’s passing in real life and how the show dealt with that tragedy. It would be hard to mess that up. Quite frankly, the only thing Y&R had going for it last year was those episodes. The show will probably try to capitalize on that tragedy at the Emmy’s too. 

Is the word Sweeps still being used? I thought that it was a thing of the past? 

Ambitions was a failure. No way around it. Giddens should be embarrassed. He kept saying on his podcast that HE knew how to write a soap. He wrote a soap and it failed. Bigtime. Don’t let the door hit ya, Jamey. Buh bye.

Oh, and "hell to the naw" on his joining Y&R as (Co-)HW.  Y&R has suffered enough lately.

He couldn't even write 18 episodes of his own show without Ambitions losing half of its audience. It got cancelled for good reason. How could he write 250 episodes of a daytime soap with network execs and owners interfering? Just absolute NO to Giddens ever touching a daytime soap. It’ll never happen. Thank God.

And given how hard he and his minions worked to discredit the Prospect Park reboots (shows that has a much stronger legacy than Ambitions would ever dream to have) and enjoyed every second of their demise, I have to laugh at his desperate attempts to save his own damn show. In a strange way, I see this as his karma for that crap. He's used whatever "voice" he had to spread false narratives about daytime soaps and people involved in the industry for years, all while claiming to be the biggest supporter of the genre. I revel in his failure for that alone.  

+1 I’m sure there are quite a few successful daytime EP’s and writers enjoying Jamey’s failure. Jamey thought his crap didn’t stink. Well, Ambitions sure did stink enough to be cancelled. <#Karma

Has Jamey admitted yet that he got CANCELLED? He never could OWN up to anything. See what I did there? lol

Ambitions failed. It got cancelled! Will Jamey go back on his podcast, where he ridiculed daytime EP’s and headwriters, and eat crow? He owes every daytime person that he criticized  an apology. It’s not so easy. #AmbitionsFailed #cancelled

In my market on the east coast, we’re getting 1/2 hour of Y&R and that’s it for soaps. The Impeachment trial runs from 1-3 pm, pre-empting Days, B&B and GH, which runs at 2 pm here. I know other markets run GH at 3. At 3 pm, its back to regular programming. Tamron, The Doctors, Dr Phil. 

Didn’t the AMC and OLTL revivals last 40 episodes on PP? Ambitions had 18 and kept dropping dropping dropping viewers. 

Giddens couldn’t even write 18 episodes of Ambitions and keep the audience tuned in. It lost more than half its audience from beginning to end. How can he write 250 episodes a year of Y&R? He doesn’t have the chops or experience. He should just go back to podcasting after this failure.

Same here. I’m thrilled that Ambitions has been cancelled. Given how many EP’s and headwriters he completely trashed over the years, the word Karma comes to mind. The big leagues aren’t as easy as you thought, huh Jamey.

Agreed. It just annoyed me (beside the CBS lie) that Young & the Restless is a thing now. 

Exactly. Days is going to air regardless. I like their method. Put it online, OnDemand, on the app. Days is out there if you want to watch it. I think the other 3 soaps see this as another saving money measure. If they don’t air, they can save money by producing less episodes down the line. Sony will most definitely amend the Y&R contracts after this Impeachment fiasco is over. 

CBS has totally checked out of caring for their daytime lineup. They had some intern type out that “Young & the Restless” is a repeat today (Nikki’s 40th anniversary episode). CBS - have some respect for your iconic show. It’s The Young and the Restless. It irritated me to no end that CBS would allow some dimwit who can’t bother to type out the correct name of the show put Young & the Restless in their chyron. Shows how much CBS cares. Zilch. 

Days is SO bad. Ridiculous. There is a reason why Ron got rejected doing the time jump on his previous shows. It’s stupid. 

Today’s episode was so bad. Does Ron really think that Patch (Stefano) telling Kristin that he’s her father will bring in viewers? Ridiculous! This show is beyond bad. 

Cannot stand Chance. Cannot stand Theo. Cannot stand Tessa. What is left? lol. Y&R is SO bad! Get Victor back!

Yes. It’s strange. 

It also airs from 3-5 on Saturdays and 1-3 on Sundays. I’m hooked. 

Remind me again why Tessa is still on this show? #fail
