  1. Grant Show. Holy crap 😛"Who was that underneath me?"

I'd love to know more about the scripts Courtney got and if any of those shows came to fruition.

    And the sandals/sauna comments 🤣

This was well done. The insertion of video clips, the blend of chats.

Disappointed no Scott Bryce. Oh well. Alan said he'd be there but I missed why he wasn't.

He woke up ill -- sounded like a headache (migraine?). There was an audible gasp from everyone when Alan said Scott was sick and unable to attend, but Alan confirmed it wasn't related to COVID-19.

Do you all that CZP clings to the Henry/Babs story b/c she felt it was finally a bone being tossed in her direction after so many years of being a "talk-to?"

I think that's part of it. Barbara became a cartoon, particularly during the spa storyline and later during Rose's death. Colleen did admit she had to change a lot about the character during those arcs, even the way she spoke. There was a glimmer of thaw when baby saga was wrapping, when Johnny was returned to Jennifer. I vividly recall a scene with Hal where she learned Johnny was Jennifer's, and Hal telling Barbara they were grandparents. After Jennifer's passing, she didn't have much until the Henry stuff.

  4. Ellen: "Is that a goat?" 🤣

Loved the story from Trent about seeing Don and Larry at a coffee shop (or was it a diner?), and Larry not caring.

The Goutman gushing made me gag, but it is what it is. No time will heal that wound.

I'm sorry Scott Bryce couldn't make it. Hopefully next time? And it sounds like Allan has feelers out to Marie Master, Scott Holmes and I thought I heard Tamara's name mentioned in that same vain for getting her involved. Fingers crossed.

AH is so flat in this little bar confrontation between Victoria/Adam with MG. Just imagine Gina Tognoni or Heather Tom or even Jacqueline freakin’ MacInnes Wood playing that scene...

She's too passive. I don't think she's an awful actress, but she's not Victoria.

Heather Tom personified Brash and Sassy. Everything that label was, she was. She commanded presence when she was in a scene, even as a teen. She could go toe to toe with anyone.. her mother, father, Ashley. Her spark. You could always buy her has a true business woman, one who wanted to follow her dad's footsteps without being lost in his shadow.

I wonder how well soap digest sells? It to me is very pricey for a subscription, same with SID

Even though I purchase a copy here or there electronically, it's rare, especially with it being more expensive as a Canadian. $6.99 is a bit rich. I snag one as a treat if there's a new feature on some of the defunct soaps.

I'm not sure how anyone takes away anything other than joy at seeing Don Hastings. He looked great and his memory and demeanor seemed adequate for someone who is rarely invited to speak about his time on ATWT since the show ended.

While watching, I actually had to Google to see how old Don is now because his memory of everyone's families, children, and what said children are doing now was incredible. You had to chuckle because the ladies couldn't remember which of their respective children they were pregnant with during certain storylines.

Funny how something as simple as a one-hour chat can bring so much joy, particularly during a time that's difficult for so many people.

    What an absolute treat.

Chelsea, Chloe and Kevin were dispensable, especially in light of some of the stories they were given.

Phyllis should have been dropped when La Staff left a few years ago and GT could have been a new character.

A third of the first one is painful for me (but true about all three on Y&R). I adore Elizabeth Hendrickson. She's wonderful, but Chloe sucks. What a total drag of a character. The only pairing half decent was with Chance, because it was fun seeing EH versus Tricia Cast.

The second point...nothing has been truer in the last decade on Y&R. I'm genuinely pissed at how things ended with Gina Tognoni. Brilliance falls on your lap and that's what you do?

Good to see Daniel Goddard repeatedly mentioned. Woof. Fart acting at its finest.

  9. GH -- When TPTB thought it would be a meaty story having Emily raped by her husband's doppelganger. It was vile. I forget if it was Pratt or Guza claiming that they would tell the story with "respect" and "dignity" to honour sexual assault survivors only to have it brushed under a rug for whatever reason. Nikolas being Emily's rock lasted only a second, and he was quick to have an affair because Emily wasn't ready for intimacy. Whether it was because Tyler Christopher needed the time off for other projects or wanted more of a challenge by playing both characters, nothing really recovered after that point for me. It probably didn't help that the actors broke up in real life, but the 180 was jarring with Emily moving on with Sonny of all people, and her being wowed by his magic penis all of a sudden. Emily and Nikolas' eventual reunion was a disappointment, leading to her murder, ghost/brain tumor whatever it was, and Emily's twin coming out of the woodwork.

  10. Damn. I'm so sorry to hear this. Knowing she was dealing this when Luke passed, while 90210 was being filmed...what a weight on her shoulders. My heart goes out to her.

Sarah Michelle Gellar's comment on Shannen's Instagram post was so beautiful: "I get to live my life with you, that makes me the lucky one."
