  1. Here she is! June 16, 1980 at 32:25
  2. And she was Nikki’s fellow cult member in summer ‘80. Was that supposed to be Kathy, or a different character?
  3. That happens to me too... don't know why but seems like it needs a "refresh" every few days or so. I just go back to the main link https://bit.ly/2A3Bnhv and start over
  4. Cool, thanks!! I’m obsessed with the whole storyline
  5. In reading the 2002 daily recaps, I see that Whip had a mother. Does anyone recall who played the mom?
  6. Holy cow, its Katherine’s party to expose Jill two-timing John and Rex...plus Sheila...epic!
  7. 5 more '90 eps uploaded! Many many thanks to the Angel
  8. Definitely still watching the clips but way behind you... I'm envious that you've got to see so much! Good to hear there's exciting stuff to come. I'm only on 68A - Ashley's '85 breakdown - loving it.
  9. Thank you so much @BoldRestless !
  10. The latest clip (144) uploaded to the 1988 folder is labeled as "final". A MILLION THANKS to the anonymous Angel "80s clips uploader"!! You have provided so much enjoyment to everyone here, and I'm sure it took a lot of effort and internet bandwidth to get all those clips uploaded. For me personally, you have helped me endure this dumpster fire of a year 2020. Every day, I reserve about an hour to watch 2 of your clips, and for sure it is a highlight of the day. So many rare precious scenes I'd never dreamt of ever seeing! The death of Cash (he is now officially my favorite Katherine love interest), the debut of Jerry Douglas and the Abbott home set, Lorie and Stuart's final scenes, a near-complete Katherine's facelift story, Ashley's breakdown.... the list goes on and on and on.... THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
  11. Yes! Some of her last scenes around Feb '88 were Amy doing detective work for Jill, hunting down Nina's past lovers. She came back for 2 random eps around March '90 where she taught aerobics and flirting with Nathan, before disappearing. Seems like Bell had some plan for Amy and Nathan, but Stephanie Williams got a contract on GH as Simone so she bailed.
  12. Amen! I am personally not a Lynn fan and would have been perfectly happy for Amy to remain Paul's secretary for another 20 years (while teaching aerobics on the side, of course)
  13. Thank you!! Those Sept '86 eps are especially rare
  14. Both wiki and imdb say that Alex Rebar played Vince during '79-80 and '86-87
  15. Beth said that it was her choice to leave in ‘87. Every time Traci left after that, though, Beth said she was fired.
  16. Now that most of the “Jack works at a homeless shelter” story has been posted in the clips, I’m curious – what are people’s impression of the story? I watched the original airings as a teen and assumed that this story would be used to “humanize” / “redeem” Jack… but that didn’t wind up being the case… he just went back to his scheming dastardly ways in ’87. Do you think this was just one of Bill Bell’s “summer social issue” stories... or maybe it was originally intended to redeem Jack but then later they decided to go another route… or…?
  17. Very cool, thanks @trainman ! Look forward to watching the series. I had seen the first one but didn't know the following segments had been released. I wonder where Doug gets all that rare footage from... Wow, Brett Hadley still has that twinkle in his eye...
  18. Looks like that is 4/17/00 - here is a recap https://www.soapcentral.com/yr/recaps/2000/000417.php Sadly I don't see it online anywhere at this time
  19. You've inspired me to check archive.org occasionally for new goodies There's 3 eps from March 2000 in the vault - https://bit.ly/2A3Bnhv And here's 4/14/00, just uploaded to archive.org - https://archive.org/details/youngandtherestless20000414
  20. Partial ep 11/6/85 was just posted. It's the next ep after 11/5/85, which is in the vault. These eps should coincide timewise with clip 84 in the vault https://archive.org/details/youngandtherestless19851106
  21. In this Beth Maitland podcast from 2013, https://youtu.be/eeQhFmyyZ9g she doesn't have such positive things to say about BD. Beth was unhappy that BD coincidentally (?) released her memoir right around the time of JC's death. BD said some negative things (don't know what) in the book about JC. Beth thought it was a poor move for BD to basically wait until JC has passed before talking crap about JC. Beth also commented that she didn't work much in scenes with BD, only occasionally, but Beth said she did observe some "shenanigans" on BD's part.
  22. JC had positive things to say in her memoir about working with BD. No trash-talking
  23. I saw the Sept 81 ep where Jack fires DA’s Jill from Jabot – the Museum of TV/Paley has it in their collection. The reason he fires her is that bc Patty visits Jabot to see Jack, but Jill intercepts Patty first and impulsively tells Patty that Jill and Jack are having an affair. When Jack finds out about Jill's lie, he fires her. So while it seems that Jill had some strong points as a Jabot employee, her unprofessionalism ultimately got her fired
  24. Latest clip uploaded (80) has Marilyn Alex as Brad Carlton's mom! Who ever knew that a) Brad had an onscreen mom who was soon forgotten and b) the future Molly Carter had a previous YR role!
