  1. Whoa! I didn't see that one coming. How lovely. She's doing a lot more American film recently - there was that silly Vin Diesel movie plus a fun horror flick with her and one of the Treadaway brothers, with both of them mostly naked, on Netflix. I hope she keeps going, she's so talented.
  2. Yes, I'm sure that 'proof' will really dissuade the Sheriff's office.

    More on Class.
  4. Time believes this is the end of Trump. I'm not yet convinced, but it's looking rough.
  5. The GOP fears Trump is now a zombie candidate.
  6. The continuum of so much of what makes OLTL immortal to me - the social conscience, the gritty realism and character analysis, the cinematic scope at its best, the escapist fantasy - is all in these episodes with their past and present sequences showing the whole range. Even though my experience with the Megan character is minimal and limited to what I can find on YouTube, that whole week is some of my favorite stuff from OLTL. And it contains so many of the reasons I think the show is timeless, versatile and could be revived at almost any point, because it always stayed current, modern and visceral in one way or another. It's not bound to a hospital or a family or a town so much as it's bound to breaking boundaries.
  7. Jessica Henwick (Nymeria Sand) joins Finn Jones in Iron Fist as Colleen Wing.
  8. Whoa: HitFix is claiming (ahead of April Fool's Day) that Maisie Williams is joining the New Mutants.
  9. We'll see. I'm not sure they can pull out a narrow escape from Trump, or that their base won't revolt hard and harsh either now or at the convention, which could turn to absolute chaos. There is no one they can put forward now who's ready or who stands a chance. Rubio was the Great Latino Hope and we all saw what happened there.
  10. Le Donald finds new basements in crucial polling, indicating Wisconsin may not be his for the taking.
  11. Lena Headey and Sean Bean are voicing characters for, uh, this.
  12. Trump has reversed himself on his insane abortion comments and, in a preview of what he will flip-flop on tomorrow, now says he will not rule out using nuclear weapons in Europe.
  13. I am inclined to agree with one of his former staffers who wrote something for xojane - he never intended this to go this far but his ego and pride won't let him stop. He's loving it too much. He has no real interest in the responsibility, he just loves the attention and prestige. And now, he's babbling about an abortion ban and "punishment" for women.
  14. Publishers Weekly has an intriguing logline about Mark Frost's upcoming The Secret History of Twin Peaks:
  15. Alfie Allen talks Season 6, with Theon SPOILERS.
  16. Incredible:
  17. Trump's crazy campaign manager is finally charged with assault.

The Radio Times reports on one of the (cute) additions to upcoming spinoff Class.
  19. Julee Cruise herself did the theme song for the Twin Peaks-themed episode of Psych. She's rumored to be doing material for the new show - she's true eccentric and her live performances at recent TP events have had some difficulties, but I love her voice and I hope she does it.
  20. Every source above is right-wing or conservative and/or fringe, and Trump does have long-standing ties to the Enquirer. That being said I suspect they would not print unless it had at least a grain of truth. Nothing about Cruz would surprise me. Here is his unique and unfortunate response, which clumsily invokes the old GOP strategy of 'ratfucking' from the '70s while leaving voters with the impression that Ted Cruz could, in some universe, !@#$%^&*] rats:
  21. In response to a linked question about the new TP's scare factor:
  22. Liam Cunningham talks to Vulture.
