  1. Wonkette follows up, as does Mother Jones - they're done with Bernie.
  2. Rolling Stone talks to some of the men who threatened Roberta Lange in Nevada.
  3. Harsh and true.
  4. More from Mother Jones. Including video and texts sent to Nevada convention officials. I have heard Bernie may have written this awful statement himself, but I don't know.
  5. Josh Marshall says the Sanders 'strategy' re: Nevada comes from the top. His statement about Nevada is astonishingly awful - blaming the chaos on anger over an 'unfair' convention and saying he's never had any violence at all his rallies, 'some in high-crime areas.'
  6. As someone who used to watch EE on the PBS omnibus reruns in the States and has a lot of memories of Peggy and Pat - two women of a certain age you'd almost never see headlining major story on American soaps, and who had some heartbreaking drama in those years - I took a look at this. I do think some of it was overwrought in a way that was trying a little too hard to be contemporary American soap, referencing back to itself too much stylistically in lieu of better content. That being said, it was lovely to see Barbara Windsor and Pam St. Clement again. And yeah, that new Martin is hot, though he's not James Alexandrou.
  7. NYT reports on Roberta Lange being doxxed by Sanders supporters after the Nevada convention. Predictably, Bernie's campaign's response is to, once again, blame the Democratic Party for his losing. He's getting lit up on Twitter. I am done with this man.
  8. Nope, just Mädchen's hot son. Her daughter is in the back with him in the thumbs-up group shot.
  9. More from Mädchen and the cast at the wrap party. The young man beside her here and in the above video is her son. There's other family and friends as well as several new castmembers, plus the aforementioned Dana Ashbrook, James Marshall, Sheryl Lee, Grace Zabriskie and Kimmy Robertson. (Sherilyn Fenn has indicated she chose not to attend the party, because she was feeling 'raw' and is 'not a party girl.') Lynch and a lot of others were there as well, I may put up more pix later. 10. This upcoming NBC show looks deeply stupid, but I'm always glad Abigail Spencer (Becca, AMC) is staying busy. She's talented and she's been lucky.
  11. WaPo on the Nevada mess.
  12. Not 100% yet, but it looks like Showtime head David Nevins confirmed that the network will rerun the original series starting next January. If they aired them weekly that would mean waiting til June to air the new series, which I don't think will happen. The speculation I've heard centers around them either running one episode per day to build momentum going into February (and the debut of the new series then), or at least two a week. I suspect the former is more likely. Also, there was a TP 2017 wrap party the other day. I may put up some pix later. There is a (slim) chance there may be some teaser on Showtime today, as 5/15 was when Lynch announced his return to the show last year and, I believe, when he dropped the trailer for the Missing Pieces in 2014. We'll see. Okay, here's one video from last night, c/o Mädchen Amick: It is surreal to see James, Sheryl and Grace next to each other in a row. Also, the dream is alive for Carl: Dana Ashbrook is now on Twitter.
  13. Things are a shitshow in Nevada with some of the Sanders delegates not registering as Democrats. Their response? Revolt, demand a recount and turn the local convention into chaos while calling Barbara Boxer a sellout bitch. Here's Wonkette's colorful take.
  14. NYT on Trump and women. Elements with the GOP continue to plot revolt.
  15. Trump is confronted about posing as fictitious publicist, hangs up on reporters.
  16. New Secret History of Twin Peaks swag from a publishing convention:
  17. The notoriously private Harry Goaz (Andy) comes out of hiding to talk about his work on the new show:
  18. Steven Yeun is voicing the lead on Netflix's fabulous-looking Voltron reboot next month, from the creators of The Legend of Korra.
  19. Michelle Fairley is joining The White Princess on Starz.
  20. I think WTTP may have scrubbed the discovery, but apparently Rhys-Davies' resume indicates he plays "FBI Agent Tom Wilson".
  21. New castmember Owain Rhys-Davies talks about his TP experience. My understanding is that this late notice was not unusual for the show due to its intense secrecy, both in the '90s and over the last nine months:
  22. Thrilled about that - Narcos was a solid show, and she deserves more exposure and recognition.
