She seemed to be fobbing it off on her agent. I loved her in MD and it would be nice to see her again. She did pop up very briefly at the end of Inland Empire - literally, a bit part in a crowd of other Lynch vets and starlets - but I guess her career hasn't been nearly as meteoric as Watts' (unfortunately) so I can understand her agent holding out.

I think there's some right-leaning folks in the media (Joe Scarborough) who want to put it all on Bannon to normalize him, yes. And the impulse is often there. But I don't think the whole of the media is fitting that frame yet.

Greenwald jumped to blaming Democrats for 'goading' Trump into attacking Syria. He immediately focused on condemning any Democrats in support of removing Assad because to focus on Trump would make him look like even more of an idiot after spending the last year claiming Trump was less of a hawk than Hillary. Greenwald's primary target is always America, liberals who aren't as far left as himself, and anyone who would make his ego take a hit or make him look stupid. As for the media, I think most of any shock and awe re: the bombing faded when it was revealed Trump had tipped off the Russians and failed to crater the airbase - even Chris Matthews suggested it was all a stunt.
