Based on the last week's events and the numbers (and reviews) I assume it will be renewed if all parties want to continue, and I'm expecting they do.
I'll bet ABC will want it back ASAP again as well - spring.

One is all that was added for last season when it was a hit as well.

Trump’s a rally away from driving the van onstage

I do think Emilio is probably Becky's new love interest.

Some sitcoms, maybe. Dramas? Nope. The Star Trek syndicated shows in particular were a brutal grind and the creative teams hated that length.

They were very likely hedging their bets to see how it would fare without Roseanne. The critics have loved it and the numbers are decent, so they said okay.
3 minutes ago, John said:Personally I feel Prime time shows should be more like 13 episodes a year
Most prestige shows - including marquee returning sitcoms like this - are 10-13 tops. Even 13 is starting to become rare for prestige shows. I don't care about quantity, I care about quality.

I don't think the cast wanted 13. This happened last season as well - it got an extra episode.

Seems like a nice vote of confidence.

My God:
Reporter: Will you call Obama and the Clintons [after the pipe bombs]?

Trump: "They wanted me to, but we’ll pass." pic.twitter.com/XSEeVYeGtDAsked whether he could tone down his rhetoric, Trump said no. "I think I've been toned down, I have. I could really tone it up."
— Christina Wilkie (@christinawilkie) October 26, 2018Trump: "I did not see my face on the van" of the pipe bomb suspect Cesar Sayec. "I heard he was a person who preferred me over others but I did not see that."
— Christina Wilkie (@christinawilkie) October 26, 2018Speaking to reporters outside White House, Trump describes #MAGABomber as "a person that preferred me over others."

Ignoring his own encouragement of violence against reporters, he adds, "If you look at what happened to Scalise, that was from a supporter of a different party" pic.twitter.com/oBRiboaGt5REPORTER: Will you call President Obama or any targets of the bombs?

My favorite part of last night was Chuck Todd scrambling for cover for the GOP, wondering "what if the bomber was a Russian ploy to misdirect and divide us?" That didn't pan out today.

Criterion leaving Hulu was absolutely heartbreaking for me. I never got over it, and FilmStruck utterly failing to accommodate me didn't help.
For people looking to get more into classic film, I highly recommend Kanopy - they have a decent and growing selection, and all you need is a local library card which you can obtain and use entirely online via most public libraries' websites. I did in ten minutes.

I love the Criterion Collection and TCM, but the fact is FilmStruck was a shitshow from the start.
It took months to get a Roku app and when it did it refused to play many films in 5.1 sound with proper audio sync. When quizzed about it FilmStruck claimed it had a fix which never worked. I had to give up on the service because of it. As a film buff and Criterion devotee it made me furious.
Even this month they've been promising Roku fixes and a PS4 app 'coming any day'. They've been saying that for over a year.If there's any justice in the world, Criterion will move its full library back to Hulu where it used to be - where it belongs.

Why Netflix hasn't swooped down to reboot it I haven't a clue. I assume it may be Dan Curtis' family's rights. It's incredibly doable.

BREAKING: AP source: Package intercepted in Delaware mail facility, addressed to Joe Biden, similar to those containing bombs.
— The Associated Press (@AP) October 25, 2018JUST IN: Police are investigating a suspicious package addressed to Robert De Niro in New York. It has similar markings as the bombs from yesterday, including the packaging, return address to Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and stamps https://t.co/CAy8YgcA89

Trump says of Reince Priebus: "It took us all about five years to figure out how the hell to pronounce his name."
— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) October 25, 2018It is very weird to watch Trump speak in this tone at a rally, and to avoid most of his gleeful personal disparaging of people. That's so much of the schtick. https://t.co/2UtwiT2ZoJ

NEW: Spy agencies have learned China/Russia have intercepted calls Trump makes from his cell. China is using the info to influence US trade policy. Trump has been told he's being monitored, but refuses to stick to secure line. @maggieNYT @AllMattNYT report https://t.co/aTsd9PqISO
— Yashar Ali (@yashar) October 24, 2018Trump: "The media also has a responsibility to set a civil tone and to stop the endless hostility and constant negative and oftentimes false attacks and stories. Have to do it." So...he's using a day in which an explosive device was sent to CNN to bolster his criticism of media.
— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) October 25, 2018Trump: "We must accept the verdicts of elections." That was all new language, and all in a prepared text. He concludes: "Let's get along." Then he proceeds with his usual stuff.
— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) October 25, 2018Just prior:
Trump: "No nation can succeed that tolerates violence or the threat of violence as a method of political intimidation, coercion or control. We all know that." He says, "We want ALL sides to come together in peace and harmony."
— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) October 25, 2018Trump: "Those engaged in the political arena must stop treating political opponents as being morally defective." He has recently called Democrats "evil."
— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) October 25, 2018Trump promises that "very soon," "drug prices will go plunging downward." The Associated Press found 96 price hikes for every 1 price decrease in the first seven months of this year.

I don't think they'll push it as a narrative. I do think they'll give the claim too much airtime when it's unnecessary.

Sara and Lecy were both very good this week, as was Galecki - the end stuff clearly means the David/Darlene/Blue/Justin Long quad is not over, IMO. The Jackie stuff was also very Jackie without being too goofy. Emma Kenney is finally finding a groove as well - I liked the car scene, and Darlene contrasting her parenting with Roseanne's both in word and action. It all clicked. (Also, Mark lipsyncing in the back cracked me up for some reason.)
Loved seeing Dan with both David and Becky more. Those relationships are important and haven't been serviced in a long time.
Like many, I also want more Geena. But really, the show and characters aren't missing a beat tonally from the original series - it's all the same stuff, issues, family material, just with a different configuration of leads. It's actually impressive.
Is Becky wearing Mark's ring around her neck?
