I liked MJ better under Layman...I always felt like SS was a playing a different character...I liked her, but Layman was great in the role. I half expected MJ/Larry/Clarice when she was on. Ben could have been brought back, and Nancy, too. Richard Steen was okay in the part, but even with a different actor, Ben could have definitely been Jake's rival.(good boy vs. bad boy)... ITA that Maisie and Quinn were killed off for their age, nothing more. Both characters had plenty of story left...

That was what I had always figured was the plan...Maisie/Vince/Ada was another way it could have gone before Mary showed up...

Quinn and Maisie didn't need to be killed. Quinn's death just pissed me off. They could have kept her around, and Thomasina could have returned. I liked PP and Patricia Hodges...

ITA about Jed Allan, the consummate CC Capwell...Danny Andrade was a dull character, and even stereotypical Reuben the gardener was dull. Augusta had me from day one, though...Anyone for a pigeon puff?????

I was reading an old synopsis the other day and apparently there was a man that gardened at the Tyler's that kidnapped Little Philip (Charlie) Brent. Does anyone know who the kidnapper was? I think it was in 75 or 76, maybe 77 I think Tom Cudahy was just starting at the same time... Does anyone know anything about the character played by the woman known as Sylvia in Season 2 episode 19 of Intervention????
