1990-1993 are probably my favorite years (if you couldn't tell, haha) because of Sheila but I always love seeing the evil doings of David and Michael as well.We will never have as many solid villains today as we did back then which is unfortunate. I really wish sometimes I could snake my way into that studio and force the entire cast and crew to watch all these episodes and see if they would actually get motivated to get the show back into the quality it was under Bill Bell acting and production wise.......that's just a dream I guess......I can just see Pratt and Phelps falling asleep to all these episodes.....

That's interesting.....I didn't know they were connected after all......I know it's terrible to say but good for them for being able to steal some of Victor's money..... I wish we still knew why they sort of re-wrote Eve's 93 return when Cole came on, particularly erasing any memory Nikki had of her.......and sort of treating her like she was someone from Victor's past that was offscreen........ Glad you enjoyed the episodes! I didn't know they showed one in 1996 though? I thought it was just 1987-1992? It's too bad they stopped doing it after 2002.....at least the 10 years way, cause we probably should have seen Xmas 1993, 1994 etc......I guess it;s good they showed 1995, and later another 1989 that was different then the one they showed in 1999.

I still have some new July 1991 dates I haven't posted yet coming....I hope there will be more stuff to get soon though.....I was thinking I should start looking into getting some episodes from 1988 since there really hasn't been a lot from that year posted.

Ok, haha I feel like the 80's in general had all these short term psychos to cause conflict, but I never know how they all come together.. No Problem! and yes I haven't seen this Marvin Oakley fellow but his name is on the credits list for the 2/18/94 episode.....

I'm not certain but I think his name was Marvin Oakley??....I don't know how he became associated with Eve, I just remember I think that's the name brought up in my February 1994 episodes, when they talk about Douglas getting his DNA sample so they could exhume Eve's body to find out if Cole is Victor's son or not... I don't know why this ever occurred to me but was the whole Rick Darros thing and later Eve stalking Nikki at her first wedding to Victor related?

Wow....I wonder what that's about? I didn't think they even mentioned after the early 90's though Ray-Tech her company always had a minor role in the show.....also I heard Melissa Morgan who played Britney her George Rawlins niece came back in 05 but as a different character... I've always wanted the younger set on this show to improve but I have yet to see it...I'm just happy Noah's gotten more airtime out of the last 2 regimes, even if I'm not a fan of the Marisa pairing....

I just finished 8/3 and 8/4 I always have to roll my eyes at Victor easily beating everyone to a pulp......these guys are at least 30 years younger then him....come on now......At least this was before he became the monster he is now, so I can tolerate it a little, plus those guys were vicious at Nikki....so they kind of deserved it....I did laugh at Victor throwing the guy in the air.... the Brittany baby stuff is zzzz...................I didn't realize Mac thought he was J.T's and not Bobby's...... I'll admit I miss seeing Gloria more, though I don't want her to ever eat the show again like she did here.....the scenes with Ashley were nice and I'm surprised they were getting along here.... I didn't know Tom had that "twang" to his voice.....he's kind of cartoonish but I prefer him more to wannabe's like Ian Ward.... It almost sounded like he was implying he sexually abused Michael and Kevin when he said "I'll do worse".... I'm glad they didn't forget Brad and Lauren's relationship at this point......it's definitely a lot more mature here compared to in the past which is a nice touch, and I liked Michael sort of confiding in Brad.... didn't care too much for the Nick and Victoria scenes......Heinle is still the same even after 10 years though I guess I will have to watch other episodes from this month to see...

I watched 8/1 and 8/2 so far I Know Sheila's return was a big deal, but I didn't realize they advertise her return promos at the start of every episode....that's a clever way of promoting her.....Now we get stupid promos about their latest pets from primetime or other soaps.... These Nikki kidnapping scenes screams a little GH to me, even if that's what the show feels more like now......It's always nice to see Victor and Paul teaming up like the old days....now they are just at each other throats all the time now..... I don't really care too much for the Brittany giving birth scenes, nor either J.T/Mac/Kevin scenes other then to say it's probably still better then today....It's kind of sad except Kevin unfortunately that J.T Mac and Brittany are long forgotten in the void of Y&R's history.... the scenes with Dru were really good, but it's sad watching these knowing that VR's time at Y&R was coming up and all the crap she would deal with.....it's hard to watch the scenes with her and Lily and with Phyllis knowing how they both felt about her in real life....

The Cricket and Danny scenes always come across as the type of corny humor you'd see on a Nick jr show...but it was innocent and something that is now frowned upon in today's soaps. No the fight happen over a year later...I know this sounds awful but I wish there was a security camera footage that showed the fight cause it sounds like Braeden got hit a few times.

It's hard to tell, it does sound like new audio... Did you get to see the scene of Nina sitting in Katherine's chair and doing her expression of her?....that made me crack up so much....Tricia Cast really did a great mockery of Katherine's voice/gestures... Olivia doesn't appear till June that year....Dru, Sheila, Olivia is the order of the 3 new characters that year.....

I agree it's nice to finally VR's first episode and interesting to see her share scenes with MR's Mamie....I think I enjoy her more with VRF's Mamie, but It would have been nice to see the chemistry developed had MR stayed.....it's interesting how both MR and VRF looked old enough to be Dru and Olivia's aunt yet VRF was only about 10 years older then both TLW and VR, and MR was the appropriate age since I read somewhere she was born in 1931..

Thanks... boy I know some would argue that 2005 was when the show started to go to hell, but I still think it was probably the show's last "solid" year even if it triggered lots of unpleasant things to come..... The Sheila story that year may have been a bust, but all the flashbacks were worth it.....I never saw part of that car scene.....I only have another short clip of the car scene where Sheila screams at Lauren to shut up, but it's about 5 seconds meshed in with other clips........It was originally uploaded by justrefined or whatever their name was....... Lauren seems so calm for some reason, I guess between Shawn and Lisa she was use to this by then...haha I always hope to get that entire week from May 4-8, 1992 myself where we see Sheila kidnap and bring Lauren to the farm....I posted all the actual farmhouse episodes but always wanted to see the full week before though of course there have been several clips posted over the years....
