  1. Same.

Watching the show, I get Cynthia's point of view. And I had a similar falling out with a close friend of 14 years myself that while it is very fade, it is possible. And the boiling point for me was the fact that I was always the 'sidekick' and he was my Nene. We have travelled together and been each other's rocks over that time. I don't mind being the background sidekick. The 'power behind the throne' kinda of guy. But that doesn't mean I don't have my own thoughts, feelings, and dreams. And my differences came out over the last few years and how I've grown as I've gotten older while I feel like he was still in place. So I didn't feel like he was being a friend like he should be or happy for me to pursue my dreams or give my opinion EVEN when he was asking for it. It was like he wanted me to be 'the sidekick' and I had outgrown it. So maybe in the end, I outgrew him. So we had a falling out.

And that is really between us. I don't even discuss it with our many mutual friends. And they know not to mention his name. I am sure someday we will sit and talk about how it all went down. But what's done is done. It is what it is. I know I was hurt. In some ways, I still am. But I am not going to throw...too much shade that way...and I don't like it when other people do so I still DO care.

And I see Nene's side with that text and what I said above. Because I am not going to put that out on display. It's between us. And I could talk about it and throw a whole lot of things that would shock our mutual friends because he was not an angel. But I'm a ride or die friend. Always have been. So the fact that there are things going on in my life that I don't even discuss with him or the fact that he has already been in the 'neighborhood' of where I live now and YET has not even bother to call, text, email...anything...not going to lie. Makes me see red. But I hold my tongue.

Sorry for the rant. Friendship issues have always been a sore spot. It's why I loved Season 2 of THE HILLS. lol. I got that whole dynamic.

ETA: Just saw the first 5 minutes again. And Kenya held her own. I didn't like at the Mario comment, but it was nice to see it is still a sore spot with Nene however. Again, good friends at one time.

  2. I couldn't tell if Mama Joyce was drunk or just trying too hard.

As for Nene/Cynthia, I think Nene put her ass in place with the Instagram posts, especially the text screenshot. I guess I can see Cynthia being mad if Nene put something shady in her blog but Nene is right, they squashed that beef and hung out MANY times…and you can't say Nene is making that up, because Cynthia was steady posting it all over social media to. So for Cynthia to get so worked up about it now that she stopped talking to Nene and didn't sit next to her at the reunion seems a little false. It feels to me that she knew Nene was over her and, like Nene said, she blows in the wind, and decided to hop to team Kenya because she has no chance.

That being said - I think it's obvious Nene really cared/cares about Cynthia and this falling out has hit her hard. She wouldn't have done the Instagram stuff with anyone else. This friendship meant something to her.

Kenya is so stupid and I'm glad Nene called her out. "If you can't get along with Cynthia, you can't get along with anyone"….Bitch, YOU didn't get along with Cynthia for most of last season so what the [!@#$%^&*] are you talking about? Glad Nene checked that.

Also LMAO at Kenya's dusty self using Kim's "moose" line. She got nowhere with that because Nene just owned it. "The moose has spoken" "YES SHE HAS". I live. I absolutely live.

I totally agree with you on that. There was one moment where you could see it all over Nene's face. And went I did a :( and awwww...because it was sooo obvious and so clear they were really truly friends.

    Loved the 'Moose' moment.

    WOW.

It's like RHoM Ana and Marysol.

I just got done watching the episode. And this? Wow. I see more layers in their exchange. And given my own history and some stuff at work tonight I would have to go Team Nene on this. Why? Cuz all of this. No wonder she was keeping it on a let's moving on. She was...being a friend. Yes, they had a falling out. And she was friend enough to keep like that. But Cynthia had to push so Nene set the record straight.

  4. I don't get why people are making a big deal about Kenya needing the other women for story as if that's some negative. She really didn't have much to do the first few episodes bc she was so isolated but once she started mixing it up with them again, getting fully integrated into the group, she was on fire and in turn she set them all on fire. She was the catalyst for so much of the drama and they all benefited. Seriously, haters need to just admit that outside of the Kandi/MJ stuff, nearly ALL the most talked about moments in this thread and around the web have involved Kenya. She brings out so much in people and is a hot topic. She generated story and buzz and love her, hate her or even love to hate her, that is why we all watch the show. Of course will deny that as that's expected but if you're honest with yourself, there's no denying that Kenya has put in WORK and centering the show around her escapades has been amazing for this season

You are right in that Kandi was the only one with a strong story that didn't involve the other ladies. I thought Porsha had potential but her story fizzled after the first few episodes and instead of growing as a strong independent woman, she remained the same stupid, ditzy child she was when attached to Kordell, and that most definetly was not interesting to watch.

    THANK YOU!X2

  5. Oh, Cheap beat me to it. re: Nene v Peter stemming from Kenya. No Kenya = no conflict in the first place there. Which was the point re: Nene's s6 storyline.

I thought Kenya and Porsha had definitely come to a plateau of sorts. Dare I say it frenemies during this season pre-reunion of course.

  6. Also I'll add this - while there's never really a reason to get physical, esp in this situation - I could see the argument being made for it being warranted is Phaedra or Kenya had attacked the other. Because this digs were deep and real and out of line. There's a real hatred for real reasons there. But por was basically irrelevant to Kenya and she was desperate to save her job.

I loved how that child was getting her hair and makeup done thinking she'd be returning when Andy sent her ass home for a time out after her hissy fit. Her face was hilarious. It was like she needed time to process it and then it hit.

Por did almost have a great moment with her whore from the 90s comment but she didn't follow it through. Also we all know the real whore of the 90s and I bow to her greatness -

    OMG, JACK!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!

  7. ITA. Kandi led the first half and Kenya ruled the second. Without both, we'd have a pretty boring season

    Totally agree.

And I don't think I will ever get Kandi...looking fierce hot...saying she will drag a b*tch out of my head EVER.

  8. Porscha really did attack Kenya throughout the episode. The name calling, the butting in, the nasty comments. Kenya hardly even acknowledged her except in reactions. Her props were insane but they were more in Cynthia's face than Por's. Kenya didn't push her or bully her. She reacted to her and the little girl couldn't take it so she got physical. Period.

All of these botches are jealous of Kenya because this entire season has basically revolved around her. The entire reunion has basically revolved around her. Love her or hate her she's all anyone is really talking about and it's giving the show it's best ratings. Kandi is the only other one who drove an thigh this season for any actual period of time.

Por came for her to save her job. Her divorce saved it last season and she had nothing going for her. It was desperate and obvious and pathetic because she couldn't pull it off

Kenya is over the top, a phony and botch honestly but she's entertaining. She is very much nene a 1-4 and this is why nene hates her.

I'm not saying Kenya is a harmless innocent victim. But por was far from driven to get physical by the big bad Kenya who wouldn't even pay her any attention if por wasn't seeking it. Por went out as she is - an immature child kicking and screaming on the floor. She's one of the dumbest people to ever be on a reality show and she shouldn't be invited back, for far more than trying to turn this into bad girls club.

Now, I am ready for Kandi to go all the way in on mama Joyce and on nene.

    ALL OF THIS!!!!

    LOVE.

  9. Andy has declared there will be no more props at the reunions. I guess he's still undecided on literal draggings.

I didn't enjoy Part One of the reunion as much as I thought I would. It was dark and predictable. Porsha and Phadrea were being all ghetto almost from the start with the language. Kenya is a big ole fake and typically full of s--t, but I still find the way that most of them gang up on her OTT - her men are fake (which I believe) but she's also a slut/whore? Kenya isn't as fun as she has the potential to be at reunions because - as has been said a million times - she's just on the weak side in fights without prep-time. The stick up Nene's behind was poking me in my eyes throughout most of the episode.

I did think Phadrea was being genuine about the dog. Again, Kenya's "spell it" was a fun moment. I don't disbelieve Kenya about Porsha cheating (which she only brought up after being called a whore/slut multiple times), there has to be a good reason Porsha got screwed in the divorce. Kandi schooling Nene with accurate points has been good, as well.

Dang, Dish Nation just went in on Kenya. "Everybody" loves to hate or just hates Kenya :/ In somewhat related RH(OBH) news, Dish Nation also went in on LeAnn Rimes.

They were covering her mouth almost the entire time she was on the floor, and I think it was Nene and Phaedra doing it. At first I thought they just didn't want her to make herself look more foolish, then when i thought about it and the rumors...

All that bold. I felt the same way about Phae. I really felt she was geniune, but again Kenya was not ready to believe Phae could do that.

Can't wait for more Kandi v Nene. Porsha v Kenya may have build up over two years, but K and N have even more years going on.

And that last point...Yes. I thought about that as well.

  10. A heart of gold should not be confused with a spine of jello.

Oooh, I missed it. I'll have to go back and watch again!!

LOL!!! at re: Cynthia and jello. Oh, you.

It happened pretty quick. I want to say before Nene covered Porsha's mouth. If I had read the article that was mentioned above where drinks were served before the reunion started I wouldn't have caught it either.

  11. That could be because I read somewhere that Nene and Phaedra put a little bug in Porsha's ear before filming. I don't remember where or much of the details but they reminded her that she might be on the bubble and told her some things about Kenya. So naturally, Porsha went in there heavily influenced, and Kenya didn't help matters. I don't believe Porsha went there to get physical at all, but that bullhorn would have had me snatching bitches too. For real.

Same. I read about that too.

  12. Porsha was starting to reveal things that would make all three of them (Porsha, Phaedra and Nene) look bad. It was so telling when they both literally shot up and ran to her when she started wailing. They opened up a can of worms and Nene knew Porsha was to starting to spill things she shouldn't have. Porsha is really stupid. After all the times Nene called her stupid and illiterate in her talking heads she allowed Nene to use her to do her dirty work. And I still don't think she's gone yet.

    Like I said...

'too many drinks' '3 weeks ago' *hands over mouth*

  13. Watching.

And for me the Part 1 has been great for the little things and expressions that people give.

Phae was actually not trying to be mean to Kenya about her dog now that I've seen the scene in context...a rare moment for those two. I'm just sorry that Kenya was still raw over Velvet's passing to understand.

And NOW that I've seen at least one part of the Season 4 NYC reunion, I agree. There is a toxic feel to it all. I did love it anyway.

    Speaking of which...

NENE. I was kinda expecting her to come at people Season 4 RHoA Reunion style for some reason. But it did feel like she didn't want to be there. But I think I am one of the few that loved the dress.

KENYA. Nothing to say really. Same as she was at the last reunion. Miss the fan. So far, so good.

KANDI. She just takes it in stride and I LOVE it. But from her checking Nene to that preview of next week, it looks like she ain't bowing down to no bitches this year. Is it too early to MVP her?

PHAE PHAE. I like what she's wearing. And I'm sorry I like that she offered condelences to Kenya about the dog. For all of her shadiness, she was being human to me and it didn't seem fake. Now once the fight broke out, now that was vintage Southern Belle and I lol.

CYNTHIA. Uh...nothing going on at all in Part 1. Other than that little digs with Nene. Alas Team Talls...SMH.

PORSHA. Porsha, Porsha, Porsha. No words. I can understand that point of view. Love the girls support. However...

....DID WE ALL HEAR WHAT WAS SAID? Hmmm...'too many drinks.' 'we talked about this 3 weeks ago.' 'not like that.'

Uh...3 weeks ago? Not like what? How planned was this? And too many drinks makes me think about Tamara Tattles's article so hmmm...

ETA: THANKS, YOU ALL!!!! After checking a basic B at work today, I needed the laughs and you guys did not disappoint.

    And LMFAO at Vix's signature.
