  1. Yeah, I did like the twist of Nick being in on Victor one-upping Jordan and imprisoning her in that room. And Genoa City could use the hero type since Chance has left that throne to play work politics.
  2. That almost sounds like Billy without the low self-esteem issues Billy tends to get...even though Billy is at least a solid businessman.
  3. Oh but that exposure would be delic. So yeah, probably not happening.
  4. An interesting question. I personally like seeing him in Dad mode, but even I would be hard pressed to think of anything outside of that simply because any time they have tried to do something with him...it gets walked back. Given that he takes after Nikki like Victoria takes after Victor, I would think there is an idea there where a story could be sprung, too. Outside of that, perhaps if Dad Nick actually took a firm dislike to one of his kids's significant other and trouble starts?
  5. Well...payback is a...has scruff. hehe.
  6. Ooooooooooooo
  7. Ah! I see. I think you are right as well about KMM. But CD has anti chemistry with just about everyone. Ah! I also see. I hate to even admit that he's grown on me, but it's nice to see the actor still has his 80s hotness during his and Alexis's hot yoga scene from years back.
  8. I could see that. I still feel that Jason/Sam will STILL come into some play down the line. More reason to give Sam/Dante more legs to make it more interesting when that day comes.
  9. Ding, ding, ding! I think that's it. I do love Lois still and will always have her BFF'S back so she ain't liking Nina. hehe. Now that you write it like that...lol. It never even occurred to me...the mother AND the daughter. One thing that I've been loving since EK/PM started is that links that I've forgotten about keep popping up, bringing with it interesting story possibilities. And I admit...I've noticed weird sexual chemistry with Willow/Drew over the last few months, too. It could even lead to all of them being written out. Or Michael going dark. Let's see that inner Quartermaine pop out. Oh? What would you have had in mind if you don't mind me asking.
  10. 4-16 First thing first...I cannot believe they split up Danny and Cricket again. I can't believe even more that I feel a way about it, too. LOL!!! I mean, I feel like they almost always getting close...VERY close...only for them to be tore up again. I would understand if they would use LLB more. But if they are not, I would not mind them writing her off to a happy ending with her clear sweetheart. Well...that kidnapping Harrison/Jordan story is off to an interesting start. But perhaps it's because I see possibilities there. Before the kiddnapping, Kyle/Claire had an interesting chemistry. And given how the writing has been setting up Summer vs Claire, it's just a new wrinkle...and creates a triangle. I hope the end of this leads to a more organic reason for everyone else to have distrust of Summer. Not that Summer was in the wrong. But it does give a good reset. AL is love so far in this. And I'm surprised that MM is rising to the occasion. A loved character. Moreso for the actress playing her vs what is being written for her right now. Very good. lol. But I'm bias. I also agree...outside of his father scenes which IMHO JM does pulled off though I agree SC pulls it off better...there really isn't much for Nick to do. And I mostly definitely don't want him back with the giggly heffa. I will say that while I didn't want Nick vs Adam over a woman again...I thought Nick/Sally/Adam was surprisingly good at the start. It was only when they threw in a baby that that flopped. Even though he don't deserve her, it did look like they were circling back to Shick after Cameron...that story just fell apart.
  11. I mean...while I'm happy to see Chase and BLQ together...it is going to be crazy if nothing happens at that wedding. And as the first event, I trust PM most definitely has some surprises in store. Funnily enough...a bomb actually sounds plausible.
  12. IKR. I will probably be right there with you when I get to that scene. Though I do feel like it has gotten a mention in the last year or so. But I could be wrong.
  13. I agree. It is going to be a blast for sure that everything should come together in May. hahahahaha
  14. Yay! Good to have confirmation that the wedding IS falling in May Sweeps.
  15. Because more than anyone, LVP has the right to pay Kyle dust. Love her.
  16. Now that I had more time to think of her, it saddens me more. I knew of her as Julia on Y&R, but never seen her. And then to find out she was a writer as well. I was inspired. I knew her as Allegra on GH. The story was bad...but she was a GREAT villainess. Something different. And she had excellent stage presence. Same.
  17. Given that the talk of Marland's Rules are in line with the talking points of GH...uh...quite on topic regardless of opinions on said rules. That said... I have to agree. If I had to force myself to figure out what the main story is...I would say there is NONE. There has just been a lot of building so I would say a LOT of B stories. And the closest that comes close to an A story would be Jason's return and how much of an umbrella story it has the potential to be since it touches on Sonny's crimes, Pikeman, Sonny's meds, etc. It makes me think of last week's Y&R. I said it on that thread so I will be brief as to not do a derail, but Ashley's mental issues was the A story. Each day last week focused mainly on that with a nice twist/movement and a cliffhanger at the end of episode to make you tune in. Eileen Davidson gave a whole masterclass each day, climaxing in the intervention that was Wednesday with good fallout Thursday, helped by all the actors/actresses making up the Abbott family. Emotional coda. I kinda disagreed with the Friday episode focused on another A story, but at least the reference Ashley at the start of the episode and a few times throughout the episode to keep the story alive. I don't like the writing too much as of late, but last week was really well done. Or it could be my love of Eileen Davidson showing. I have confident that PM and EK will get there as well, but right now, it does seem muddled overall though I agree that day to day writing has been superb. I think that might be how I feel more. A mix-match. But like I said on the other page...I feel as well May Sweeps at the earliest to summer at the latest on people gone. I think you are quite close. I really want to say the WSB has what is left of the necklace. After all didn't Laura and Robert have Eileen Ashby tried to fake out the necklace to Victor? Not to mention Holly's arc connected to it as well.
  18. Honestly, I feel in my gut that EK/PM have already decided who is leaving and the writing we are seeing now is the buildup to it. Instead of 6 months per the Rules...it's going to be May Sweeps at earliest or end of Summer at the latest. And when it happens, we are going to realize they were planning it out all along. But...that's just my gut.
  19. RHOP Well, I've put it off for a while...but I did finish the RHOP season proper. The divide, the divide, the divide. Even the last set of episodes the divide was a main reason for what happened. But I'll say THIS...why is that RHOA can have a divide (Talls v Smalls, Pretty v Beasts, Aunties v Nieces) and STILL give us a show and RHOP...no longer can't? The divide has been all-consuming now and not in a chess game way like RHOBH which used to make it fun (for me) to watch as I tried to figure out alliances and next moves, making it fascinating. At least, the finale gave a turning point in the divide, but moving into the reunion...if there is going to be no resolution...well...those who saw the reunion know the ending. I again have to lay it at Production. I felt this season had a STRONG start...everyone and their mama coming for Robyn Juan's Roommate. The world. Her castmates. Even her friends. And even Production themselves. And I was here for each and every moment of it. But then the cast trip happened and...the season died on the vine. In fact, Production pivoted...not unlike BH Season 10 where it looked like it was a Kyle takedown season and suddenly it was all about Denise. It became clear to me when the episode about the finale was all about the other storyline going on this season. So much of the focus had been on Roommate, I had forgotten about other storylines period. Candiace and her career plus baby. Wendy and her online show. Ashley and the divorce. And lest we forget...Messy Mia!!! The season would have been better if it had laced these stories into the main one...namely the Roommate. But...let's talk about Messy Mia. People have questioned her getting First Chair at the reunion versus Gizelle. In light of putting Gizelle on notice while still letting her skate, I felt that move was a subtle case of putting Gizelle's next target on notice and I hope it backfires, leading to Gizelle's overdue takedown. Mia IS NOT Monique. And Monique had NO problem giving it to Gizelle. Mia has successfully this season uspered Gizelle's position as Bone Collector, Pot Stirrer, and Delusional Housewife and still doing it while all looking FIERCE for someone with NO money. Allegedly. If Gizelle comes for her...oh, it will be a mess. And even at the reunion, Messy Mia had no problem spilling Gizelle's own tea. So...tread lightly, Giz. In terms of the season, Messy Mia stayed giving content. Her slowly deteriorating marriage to G...and the bombshell of her first love. Her fun rivalry with La Dame. Her reveal of sexual assault and how it impacted her always fascinating dynamic with BFF Jacqueline who should have been a FOH again this year (cuz you all know Battle of the Receipts last reunion lives RENT FREE in my head). Everyone else might have been hiding their secrets. Not Mia. Or was she? She does her hiding in such a coy way...a GOOD Housewife technique that works for her...and favors (for me) Sheree on RHOA. Though to no one having storyline, she rose through the ranks to become a factor. Who knew? lol. And lest we forgot, Messy Mia this season was asking the questions we all wanted to know and getting away with it (Juan and the hotel, Ashley's divorce, her new man) and most importantly, being able and willing to still film with everyone. I always like how she still respect even people she dislikes. And that brings us to the finale. Oh, that fight. I am STILL shocked Production did not want to buy the footage from TMZ. But I guess we can see why now. They would have not been able to let Ashley skate if everyone saw that that fight was started by Sesame Street. I was happy to see that...rumors aside...La Dame was still there. I loved Keirana was able to get her story out. But it was STILL gross they tried to paint Candiace as the aggressor. A great Come to Jesus moment by La Dame. And that last ten minute. Wooooow. Gee spilling all the Mia tea and dragging her. The cameras everywhere!!! The reactions!!! The authenticity!!! From Messy Mia of all people. And the questions it presents...just a trainwreck, but here for it.
  20. Lol. That has crossed my mind, too, watching. I won't be surprised if that beat gets played, too. I might even fangirl giggle. Lol. I know the running joke here has always been that I take forevvver with this show and keeping up...with the watching if not the board...but I admit that I've been consistent since PM...which was as I expected. Only a week behind come Tuesday. lol. Even a slow week for me has a spoil of riches. So much for my eyes and mind.
  21. Well boo!!! lol It's been funny how little I've seen in terms of reviews and thoughts on it so far. I'm shocked or just too busy.
  22. 4-15 I find it weird that SB is looking like a whole snack body wise. lol. That said...watching Jason with Diane and now Carly, I can't help, but feel they seem to be giving Jason the story that Drew had when he was Jason. The disconnection from Sonny, the mob (?), and that kind of life. To have a new life that is...legal. Cuz Jason wanting to use his half of Sonny's coffee business to make COFFEE??? Okay...so I expect a connection with the Quartermaines again soon. And the more they do this...it simply makes Drew look more and more irrelevant...proving Drew right about his place in Carly's life, but still...LOL. Okay so they are not going to reveal the Drew/Nina hate sex yet. Hmmmm...interesting. Something to explode in May Sweeps? Speaking of...are we setting up for Wagger/Carly? Because it does not feel like they are going to do Jason/Carly as lovers this time around, but you can feel their connection for sure. I have been loving Alexis's storyline. With new writers coming in...usually the new writers would just immediately come in, give Alexis her job back, and then DONE!!! I like that we are seeing Alexis long for it, debate it, see that headaches *cough*NinaGossipGuy*cough* aside she loves her new job, and just the soulsearching of it. And NLG is doing it sooo well. The ending is going to feel earned and it's been a minute to see a complete(?) character based story. It has a nice push/pull, too. Most of me is for Alexis becoming a lawyer again. Then there will be a moment where you see how good she is at the Intruder. And then alas. But speaking of push/pull...I've been feeling that way about the writing. This past week, there was so much talking going. The audience getting into the characters' lifes. What comes to mind is Tracy teaching BLQ about money and a man's pride, Sasha in the stables, Alexis period, Curtis's progress. It feels like a little bit too much talk at times, but there's also a feeling of momentum going on. And I become curious about where it is going to go. Speaking of...Ava with the pills. I admit I was wondering if it was going to go to some Sonny/Ava thing or a reveal that perhaps she's in cahoots with Val, but it does not seem like she's done anything with the med tempering and might now figure out someone is tempering with Sonny's meds...right as Jason, Carly, and Drew are questioning her presence in Sonny's life...is inspired. Speaking of Val...Anna's mind is starting to click. And I love seeing Anna in Boss Bitca mode. And the fact she's slowly starting to figure out Pikeman. A cat and mouse game between her and Val who are both still smarting from their breakup...I'm down.
