I actually think Carly/Drew are okay. They have nice chemistry and LW/CM work well together, but it is a waste of a character-or bringing this particular character back. Drew doesn't interact with Sam or Liz at all. CM was always a strange choice for Drew to me because I don't think CM has much range. He's just that blandly handsome and charming guy. To me this relationship feels very similar to Carly/Jax. In fact, CM would have been a good Jax recast if we ignore the Australian part.

Honestly, I can't even really remember the initial reason for Carly keeping it quiet. Willow is a grown ass adult who can make up her own mind about her parentage and how she chooses to deal with it. Outside of the cancer issue, Carly is just playing God with two people's lives who I personally barely care about and it's just going to cause Carly more problems than it's worth lol. Carly has very little self-awareness, but shouldn't every scheme she's had since 1996 remind her this is going to all end badly?

I am going to be honest, I don't understand why Carly cares that much. I know Willow hates Nina and blah blah, but in the scheme of things is it that big of a deal? I don't see how this is worthy of Carly's time or effort. Why is Carly risking her own happiness over Willow being sad for a few days about Nina? I guess I just don't understand the real harm in Willow knowing the truth.

I swear I saw it, but I went back and rewatched it (because I hate myself lol) and it was Alice Caroline-the Caroline was just more prominent and I can't read apparently. My mind just didn't register that as Allie.🤣🤷‍♀️

I feel like the writers have finally caught and clue and listened to me about Spinelli/Maxie. I liked them back in the day. I still think it's Maxie's best pairing and I don't think they were each other's back ups. Although I do think Georgie/Spinelli would have been much better. Anyhow, we have all been saying the same about KS for months/years now. I don't think you have to write them out. Spinelli appears often enough that Maxie/Spinelli could be together and KS could finish out her contract and share scenes with others. Then I'd drop KS to recurring and have her and Spinelli pop in and out. It gives the character of Maxie a reasonable out and a bit of a happy ending.

That would have been the quickest and easiest way to end that conversation lol. But you know Ron and his 'nods' to history so we had to deep dive into decades old Horton misdeeds instead. Did anyone notice Baby Bo's ornament said Bo II? Is that what we are going with? Isn't he Bo Jr.? And why does Caroline have an ornament? Is it just honorary since Caroline/PM passed? I have never noticed it before.

To be fair there wasn't a need to bring Ben up because Xander already knows about his past? I guess Sarah could have said even Ben has one, but I thought it was more about Horton history, so I might give it a pass. Sarah/Maggie wouldn't necessarily bring up Ben since it doesn't correlate to them much. Agree on the pairing ruining Ciara though. Listen, I have defended Joss/Dex on the GH thread and now I am defending Days writing and Ben here in 24 hours. I think the Christmas cheer (or Egg Nog🤣) has gone to my head.

Yes this might actually be the start of a good couple if wasn't Joss part of it.🤣 It really is the only pairing of hers I have found even slightly enjoyable or tolerable. It is so weird that Joss knows she's no longer in love with Cameron and the spark is gone. That's fine. They are young and it happens. But she is telling everyone except her boyfriend and kissing and mooning over Dex. She is just literally avoiding her boyfriend so she doesn't have to break up with him. Cam always deserved better, but this is pretty bad and it's played like we should be on Joss's side in this. Whatever, I can see why most think it's a flop, but we are going to be stuck with Joss regardless. The bar is low, but I think this is the best pairing and story she's been a part of.

Agreed. There is just something refreshing about EJ just accepting Nicole as is. I know that hasn't always been the case, but it seems like it now. I want a long break from Ericole. Not permanent, but let them both do their own thing for awhile and not this makeup and breakup crap over the same things. I am still confused how Jada has been completely minimized in all this. We don't even see her anymore. Does Sloan know Allie is Eric's niece? I remember Eric saying Chanel was a nice girl to Sloan but I can't remember if he explained Allie's is related to him.

So......I am going to make an embarrassing confession: I am starting to like Dex/Joss. I know that's akin to saying you liked Courtney or something, but they are growing on me. I don't even like Joss or the fact that she's casually cheating on Cam, but I think Dex/Joss have some chemistry and it's a soapy story. It's probably because it's a blatant rip off of Sonny/Brenda's beginnings, but I am a bit of a sucker for that type of story. Dex does talk like Batman though lol and he looks too much like Chad Duell.

I liked Eric's idea to kidnap Rachel. It's so ridiculous-Kristen deserves it. I love Eric's immediate 180 from stand up guy to committing major felonies with no shame. I don't think we are supposed to believe Kristen is delusional like, say, Ava, but she consistently says the most delusional and ridiculous things. I don't know why everyone in town considers her just evil not absolutely insane instead. So that's the end of the Chanel/Paulina murder story lol. Anti-Climatic like everything on this show. Allie has so many family members on this show and I find her to be so isolated with Paulina, Chanel, and Abe. She hardly ever has scenes with anyone else. I honestly think I like this version of EJ/Nicole better than Eric/Nicole. DF and AZ are delightful together! I thought they were great yesterday. I got my John/Marlena yesterday, so I am happy. Although I don't know why they were discussing their Kristen plot and making out/having sex/whatever they do with the door wide open when 17000 people live with them and with their two sons in the living room, but I guess they just live on the edge. I guess the thumbnails will continue to be off forever lol! How am I going to know whether to watch or not?🤣

I imagine CS and ZT would have great chemistry although I think CS would have chemistry with a door.🤣

I was ready to be angry with the show since Peacock showed John/Marlena in the thumbnail for today's episode, but there was no Jarlena to be found. Peacock better work on their accuracy if they want my 4.99 every month!🤣 But the show today was decent. At least TB went out with scenes that showed what a good actress she was. I couldn't care less about Bonnie's PTSD, but it does give JE a chance to shine and that's nice. I thought both TB and JE did well today. Sonny is being a bit of a whiny baby. Just talk to Will instead of doing things that will actively upset him. There is no real reason for this Leo nonsense. Paul coming back as CS would be the nicest Days Christmas Miracle.

I have no idea the difference between Silas and Finn. Is Finn more popular than Silas was? Was it necessary to create two separate characters? ME is an actor I have NEVER gotten the appeal of going back to his time as Tanner on Days. He's so monotone lol And with Howarth, he should have just been playing Austin from the beginning. That character has some potential. Wasting 7 years on us accepting Franco was always a bad idea. I at least think Howarth has enough talent and charisma to make a character like Austin work if he was introduced years ago. Nina has one of the most convoluted back stories this side of John Black lol. I truly can't stand the character. Once MS left they should have cut their losses and just had CW become a new character because Nina is another one who has burned through love interests and story like crazy. Liz has had some random love interests through the years. The Evil Dr. with the Abs, anyone. I will say Liz has always been a character that has had quite a few unlikely love interests thrown at her (Zander, Ric, AJ, Matt, Dr. Abs) and a lot of those just fizzled out or barely got started.

Roger looks fine, but I don't think he looks younger than his age or anything. I actually think KS still has a bit of a baby face that does make her look a bit younger. I don't know why they don't pair Maxie back with Spinelli. I don't know what Spinelli's real purpose on the show is and if they are out of options for KS just go back to that easy one. There really is no need for Austin and all it's a shame because if Frank or Ron had taken actual time to develop a character for RH in the first place after the OLTL character fiasco I don't think we would be at this place.

Kirsten Storms looks rough, but she doesn't look old. She still looks 15-20 years younger than RH. RH isn't someone like Peter Reckell, who vaguely looked 40 for 20 years lol. RH looks his age. It's creepy and weird and I think GH believes KS looking frumpy equates to her getting a much too old love interest. Yikes with the Trina stuff. Not TA's finest work.

Today's episode was decent. It's pretty lame no one was really hurt by the bomb, but I actually cracked up when a smoke covered, dirty Marlena casually just walked into the Penthouse. I don't why-I just found it hilarious. So Kristen was just knocking back beers before going to pick up Rachel from school? Cool. Parent of the year. I am glad Brady told Eric the truth although I don't know why he can't just tell Marlena/John. I know Sarah is super annoying and I wouldn't want to be friends with her, but it's sad Xander and 6 day players celebrated her birthday at the hospital.

Why do you find Tripp condescending to women? I think he's actual very respectful of the ladies. Allie did him dirty lol. I actually find Tripp to be one of the least problematic characters on Days. LA is a little bland though. I find him hot, but in a vanilla way lol.

THIS SHOW....let's fire hot young actors that are popular lol. No mind to the fact the most popular characters are like 60 plus.. The show righted their wrong so I can't be mad. I don't even hate the fact soaps fire people if they were out of ideas and then figured it out. I wish characters would be let go on several soaps if the writer well is dry and then they bring them back when there is relevant material, but I am not sure Tripp ran out of stories.

Yeah, I agree it was always a strange decision since Tripp always had a lot of story options. Was Lucas Adams doing something else? I am glad he's back regardless.

It doesn't really feel like Tripp was ever gone lol. Maybe they wrote him off to really end the Chanel/Allie/Tripp triangle once and for all? It made sense for him to leave when he did to start fresh, but it's only been a few months lol. Guess he's over Seattle.

I liked today's episode. A surprise appearance by Tripp. Yay! I liked everything pretty much. All the scene partners worked (even if John was laying it on way too thick with Kristen). I am curious about Jada's point of view on the abortion. We have a lot of Eric/Nicole's pain, but Jada's all but disappeared.

I actually didn't know Jessica Serfaty was an influencer or dated Logan Paul, Joe Jonas and Ed Westwick. Tbh, this is the first time I actually looked up her name lol. I do remember her from America's Next Top Model because she was super young when she got married and had a baby. I just literally didn't put 2 and 2 together lol. That doesn't make her any more of a natural actress, but it makes her slightly more interesting to me.

She's growing on me, but she's very OTT in love scenes lol. Sloane still remains a pretty unnatural actress.
