Lol! I should have known. All Curtis needed was some aspirin and a dream of walking toward Laura once more. I seriously don't understand Finn/Liz's relationship. It's clear Finn can't casually drink like Curtis, but at the same time Finn just slipped up and doesn't appear to want to make a habit of it so I don't know why anyone is still talking about it. I know it's leading somewhere but everyone is acting like Finn full on relapsed instead of just having a few drinks after his father died.

Stefan is one of those characters without a real purpose. His stuff with Ava was interesting a while back and I assume she will be in his orbit once Steve Burton leaves. At this point they need to recast Gabi. BB gets far too much airtime for a character that just goes from scene to scene talking to others about Gabi but doing little to nothing to help Gabi get out lol.

Well, it's sounds more likely Xander's mom will bring a bottle of whiskey instead lol. I feel like Noel(le) (wiki has a different spelling of her name than what I remember on screen) is more likely to buy her something off her registry and might bring her mom Liz to sing as well. More of a win.

And it's also like Xander/Sarah's 3rd wedding lol. Like the fact they have a kid now will make Xander's mom change her entire ways when her own child didn't? It's just a strange agenda to push now after Sarah not caring at all about Xander's family previously. I obviously get why it's happening, but not every strained relationship can be resolved like a fairytale. Sarah is very much dictating who Xander has relationships with, but Xander hasn't brought up Sarah inviting her sister Noel who slept with Rex and she doesn't talk too.

Obviously this is a soap and Xander's mother is going to be very relevant and not as bad as Xander makes her out to be. I just think in real life there are real reasons people go no contact with immediate family and it's so pushy to make someone forgive someone else. Trust your husband/partner/significant other when they say there are multiple reasons they don't talk to this person, especially someone as important as Xander's own mother. We have no reason to believe Xander is lying about the trauma he experienced with his mother and Sarah should really just respect that.

Well, yes and no lol. Tripp doesn't get irrevocably killed off on a regular basis. He just leaves in the most boring manner. MA has to suffer the ultimate humiliation each time he leaves the show. The way the show left Wendy/Tripp's exit like it was an extended vacation just makes me assume one (or both) will be back sooner rather than later.

I think the show would be wise to recast in the future. Sloan still has story left and the show has access to JS's practical twin with Tate's fiancée, who did a very good job. I was wondering if Nicole just left a message, but it seemed like she was talking to him. At least you could have shown Rafe looking at his phone and send it to voicemail. Instead, he lost the biggest criminal in the baby switch and is going after Trask, who was just a small cog in the wheel of everything. Rafe's actions today alone prove how awful he is as Commissioner. He shouldn't be allowed to be a cop at all lol.

I don't really want to see 15 year old fan wars start again, but Liz/Jason do have a pretty vocal following. I don't think a Liz/Jason pairing would improve ratings much, but I don't think it would hurt them. I have no illusions the show cares about BH/Liz/Liason. I just think they do have a pretty long suffering, intense fanbase.

Agreed. Even if JS is unavailable again I think they should recast Sloan to cause more chaos (they can use Tate's fiancée). Sloan's ending was pretty anti-climatic today. What's weird is that Nicole called Rafe (and appeared to actually speak with him?) and he just continued on with his conversation with Melinda.

Most people here have a much better knowledge of how it works behind the scenes, but does NLG's guarantee's have something to do with Alexis covering so much ground in one day? Is it more budget friendly to put all of her scenes in one day as opposed to three? Obviously I assume the answer is yes, so maybe that's why some characters travel all over town in one day instead of spreading it out.

I think BD is generally used for comedic value these days which is a disservice to him as he's good in multiple roles. It's a win/win for the show because he's a Horton and Kate needs one child on canvas. I don't really see anyone to pair him with, but he's just the type of character that has relationships with so many people on the show.

Every time I warm up to EOB's Theresa and her stupid wig she does something ridiculous like turning down a good job because she's in a relationship with a rich guy lol. I would feel worse about Alex playing her if she wasn't scamming him as well. The EJ/Kristen scenes were strange. Kristen's audacity at Sloan working alone on the baby switch felt weird. She remembers she hired a double to give birth to EJ and fool John, no? I know she had Stefano's help, but Sloan's whole plot was MUCH less complicated. At least she mentioned the whole Rachel situation. Again, I was a huge Lucas fan in his 90's/2000's heyday, but every time BD shows up I just love Lucas. I know the show currently writes him a bit dopier than he should be, but BD deserves a contract. He really works well with everybody.

Agree about Ava. I feel like Ava has been pretty stagnant as a character since she became redeemed. I also agree about Easton/NLG. I never really noticed it until yesterday, but they work quite well together. I think the Tin Man Origami story is one of the worst stories Sonny and Brenda were ever involved in, but I will say it was more interesting than any story currently on this show lol.

Jada said Roman put the gluten free buns on the menu which makes it more weird that Steve didn't notice Jada asked for a gluten free bun when ordering. Listen, Days makes no sense, but my sister orders a bunch of gluten free buns, bread, pasta, soups all the time. If you actually have the allergy and aren't being annoying no gluten can even touch anything that has gluten and it's really hard to monitor.

ALL: Convenient Couples
Those JER years were a mess (he wrote John/Kate I believe). I could see why Kate and John would be attracted to one another, so it did make sense to me especially coming off losing their 'true' loves. It was less forced than John/Hope and I think it would have had more of a chance if the John/Marlena fangirls weren't so loudly, openly, and rudely against it.
