I assume the show is leaning into the narrative that Kristina is a flighty mess. I don't think we are supposed to sympathize with her in this moment. I think at some point she's going to realize she is being ridiculous and it will inspire some actual change within her. I also think the show knows Mansi can handle the material (even though she's not great with online hate) and KV needs a little boost as Molly to get the audience in her favor. Just my opinion of course.

It's such a weird idea because old viewers are thinking this is nothing like the Jagger we knew. And new viewers are like this guy is awful. Not excusing the Paul story because that was wild too, but Jagger's ties to the canvas were flimsy at best. Besides Sonny, he really only knew pre-brain damaged Jason and Scott. His other ties were more ties to ties of previous characters if that makes sense lol.

Oh for sure. I will mostly think of ASJ's Jagger who was super hot, kinda dopey, but mostly a decent guy. There was no reason to bring Jagger back in the first place. Jagger's motivations were all off from the start. Hate Sonny because he's a criminal. Bringing Karen and Stone into this was mostly a moot point. Sonny was very good to Stone. He was awful to Karen, but Karen forgave Sonny and moved on with her life. Jagger cheating on her was probably a lot more hurtful lol. It's weird to take an FBI agent with real issues about Sonny and have Jagger make it about petty, personal things-and then make him crooked.

Ha! I will never agree with #PoorJagger unless we are talking about 1994's Jagger who was ruined by AH lol. I did laugh when Joss was threatening Ava like she would have thrown her out the window. Girl, Ava would have easily snapped you stupid neck. I thought today's show was really good. Kristina is being so selfish and I love Molly knows the truth now. I thought Tajh Bellow was very good today and I know he gets a lot of hate here.

Yes, they have named checked Peter more often in the last several years. Mark Valley was good. He wasn't Jack. What a strange casting for Jack-even though I did think he made it work. It was just an entirely different take on Jack. Here's the thing. Everyone pretty much dislikes Missy here. I don't have a problem with that. I don't like Missy. The show doesn't seem to care about her views or issues. They have taken her back after literally suing her lol. It doesn't take away the fact she is the best Jen. I agree. I actually don't think CM is always bad as Jennifer. There are just times when I don't think she gets the character at all? Never watched videos of MR as Jen? I am not saying Days should roll out the red carpet for Missy and fly her in on the regular, but if we are only using Jen a handful of times a year just figure it out with her.

I liked Stephanie Cameron. She wasn't amazing, but she looked the part and was okay at the end of the day. I empathize the show was put in such an impossible position and SC was like someone in production's girlfriend lol and was hired in a matter of days. Considering that I actually think she did well. You saw Steve Wilder as Jack, right? Lol. Peter needs to be back-agreed. The show decides to create a bunch of rando Dimera's when you have one right in front of you. This. If you are using Jen for 1 day just work around Missy. The show shoots 10 years in advance so it's not like the schedule can't be a bit flexible lol. If the show has investment in Jennifer as a full time character use Cady. Let her make the role her own. Going back and forth with these actresses is a waste of time.

Yup. If it were me running this show I would either bring back Matt and Cady and use them more or just work around Missy. The show rarely uses Jennifer anyhow. It makes no sense to use Cady for a day and then go back to Missy for Doug's funeral (although I get that for sentimental reasons).

I get that. I am actually totally fine with CM playing the role. She's willing and seems to make herself available whenever needed. I just think some people are saying she's amazing because anyone is better than Missy. Overall, CM has done a decent job. That performance the other day was rough and in no way do I imagine MR playing it that way. I think it's a disservice to keep swapping them out as well. I felt the same way when they were swapping out Stacy and Eileen as Kristen. Whenever you see the OG actor it takes you out of the new actors portrayal.

I agree with you about Cady. Those scenes the other day were very OTT. I can't see MR playing them anything like that. I also agree with others that CM is probably a better actress than MR just based on overall work. I just don't think CM is better at playing Jennifer than MR. Obviously I don't expect her to jump in and master a role Missy's been playing more than half her life, but I don't think Cady gets Jennifer as a character exactly. There are a million reasons to dislike Missy. I don't like Missy and am pretty ambivalent on Jennifer as a character in general. I get the sentiment to root for Cady and want her to do well in the part. I just think Missy owns the role. I think the fact that Missy is a problematic person makes people forget how good she was as Jen.

I assume the actors care about this story as much as we do. Instead of chit chatting please help a dying man! They weren't two casual acquaintances. One was MARRIED to him and the other was in love with him. I would have been freaking out and trying to get more help if it was a random stranger lol.

I guess the show faked me out because I assumed he was going to live. Those two were just yammering about all the inconsistencies while Bobby was dying. So I didn't think it was that dire? Lol. Next thing I know they are rolling him out in a body bag. Poor Blake Berris. The show clearly just has no idea how to use him no matter who is running the show.

It was so strange. Like if the ambulance is taking too long try to move him yourself? Try to get him to throw up or in a cold shower? Call the hotel front desk and have them help you get him to the hospital? Not read his "suicide" note and collect evidence lol. I have obviously never been in a situation like that but I feel like I would have more of a sense of urgency and try to find anyone to help.

I am not sad Bobby/Everett are gone, nor do I really care about the ending. During the entire episode Jada/Stephanie were watching him die the show could have just wrapped it up. Just finish the story. It's so lazy to just kill him off without any conclusion. That's more annoying to me than not knowing. I really don't mind the premise. Like you said, it's much easier to understand than what Dimera Enterprises does. I don't even mind a few jokes. It's the entire story that feels like a mockery of the soap industry and the fans. It's so strange Ron would even want to go there. Does he hate his job? Did he want to get fired?

Honestly, the jokes are what make it so awful. If they treated seriously it wouldn't be that bad. Yes, it's ridiculous that half the town is going to be acting in this, but it really does bring characters together that don't usually interact at all. I would prefer more people working at the paper, but Xander sold it back to Jack and I guess that's a wrap for it? Lol. Eric and Nicole are gone, Everett is dead, Xander gave it to Jack, and I am unclear if Leo and Stephanie still work there. So that leaves Chad. It's weird how they built the Spectator up as the place people worked at and now have abandoned it for a soap. I suspect this Body & Soul stuff won't last past Ron.

Again, this feels like an episode making fun of us fans. What if Phillip was born in 1995 and was a teen in 1999? Lol. Who would buy that? Ugh....🙄 The only "joke" I liked today was Leo reading Kim's book. It obviously went too far, because of course, but it could have been a subtle nod to history. I actually do like the idea of a lot of people in town working on the soap. It can make for drama and connects people that aren't usually connected.

I thought CD was very good in the beginning especially in the rape reveal and in his early trauma response behavior. Like @Liberty City mentioned, all that trauma/PTSD disappeared and he's just a regular, well adjusted family man. Due to the fact CD has been barely trying for years I would recast, but I do think CD is capable of a lot more. The fact that CD really struggles with romantic chemistry with everyone would also be a reason to ditch him. He's had a lot of romances and his best one was Abby the stripper.

There are so many recurring characters I forget even exist until they pop up like Brad/Teri. That's not a slam on them, as I like both characters just fine, but they are used so infrequently I forget about them. I know GH is supposed to feel like a big community. It's just hard to keep up with some of the very fringe characters. I'd rather less recurring cast that does more. I think Michael needs to ditch the good guy/family man role. It's just boring. Duell doesn't seem to enjoy it either. Michael needs to have some real edge.
