  1. Hollis should have been that outside help for Brooke. That man was capable of so much. ๐Ÿคฃโค๏ธ For Taylor I think the only cure would be a long stay at a mental health institution. I don't think she can afford to risk another broken heart syndrome episode.
  2. Saw the new (from last night) Hunter Tylo podcast in 2.0 speed. The only thing that struck me as interesting was that she revealed she in the process of writing a new memoir that she promised will be unfiltered. ๐Ÿคฃ I won't lie... I may buy it if it comes out. I'm known to enjoy stuff like this.
  3. Up to August 13th, 1992. "You can't escape karma." Wow, the show is firing on all cylinders! Let's dive back into the drama. ๐Ÿ”ท I'll start once again with the big stuff. After a very heated court battle, where all of Leanne's past mistakes and character flaws were aired out... she lost her cool and went into full-blown meltdown in front of the entire court... She did what she does best - she bit herself in the leg and showed the judge complete lack of self control. We are left in the final moments where the judge is announcing his decision. I don't want to tell you what I want to happen, because I don't want to sound cold. But being raised by an incompetent mother myself... I would hate to see Demerest suffer more. ๐Ÿ”ท Cain is back to the old Thomas Ripley manipulator-instigator mode. The cartoon stuff is gone for now and he is continuing his old game - trying to win Asa's graces and in the process - destroy Blair's position. The battle of the foxes resumes. After a somewhat threatening conversation with Blair, he masterfully put the seed of doubt in Asa's mind about who leaked information to Max (that Asa was about to buy his land). Asa instantly blamed Blair who had to lie through her teeth and be as convincing as possible. Just like she does in their bedroom, she had not trouble faking it this time either. God I love Blair. ๐Ÿ”ท In one of the most powerful scenes so far in the show, Victoria tried to connect with Marty and make her confess to her part in spreading the lie about Andrew. This, ladies and gentlemen... is a masterclass of how an empathetic person can still manipulate someone in order to achieve their goals. Victoria was handling Marty with velvet gloves, dosing every single word, diving into her mind and her soul. For now... however... her effort seems fruitless. Modern social media users would call Victoria a "dark empath" in this moment - the only real adversary to the narcissist. ๐Ÿ”ท Dorian Lord visited her old lover Jason in the Buchanan Palace restaurant. She was like a predator sniffing for emotional carrion. She wanted to know how he and his young fiancรฉ are doing... and then she sinisterly remarked that happiness is not possible without money and power. Something she can give him. And something he will soon find out if he goes to the court hearing for Demerest. Three Bloody Marys later and Dorian was making a spectacle of Cassie and Reverend Andrew's relationship. Love a drunk Dorian. ๐Ÿ”ท Victoria and Sloan had their first "fight" if you could even describe it like that. The topic was once again his son Andrew. Sloan was irritated that Victoria wrote an article about the protest and the right to privacy, and she called him a "fool" for the way he was acting and treating his son. It was a veeeery good touch to have this scene, so that their relationship doesn't appear one-note. That way the potential love affair will have even more blood and power to it. Overall - 10/10 - these 2 episodes took my breath away. โญโญโญโญโญ Clip of the day Victoria and Marty talk.
  4. Great to see everyone and I hope everyone is doing well.
  5. I think your insightful commentaries are even better than a kidney. โค๏ธ I plan to start the show tonight with my husband. I LOVE Mia Farrow, so I'm excited. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  6. That would be great. I still don't understand why Bradley Bell has declawed Brooke and given her nothing but beg Ridge or crying about Hope for the past 5 years. KKL still looks as hot as ever and could still rock a scandal or two if given the chance. Hope as the seductress (the attempt to turn her into Brooke) was a huge mistake and backfired given the character's history. I would hate to see Brooke remembered as this boring woman who just constantly stood there and took it, even if it's perceived by some as her maturing or being tactful. Maybe I'm not being objective, but I believe Bradley is not capable of writing maturity. IMO, Brooke should have never let go after they made her CEO. That was the moment when Ridge betrayed her with Taylor, she slapped him and pushed Taylor out the door. We all remember that. It was the best episode of the show in 5 years. That was THE MOMENT all of us were waiting for. She then... had to completely take over the company and start a vicious campaign against Ridge and Taylor old-school style. She should have channeled her 1993 bitterness and vindictiveness. They lost that chance and instead turned it to Brooke crying for 3 months about how she wants to return the company to Ridge (while he is penetrating Taylor). So disappointing. All of this could have been a new chapter for Brooke, an era to re-invent the character, but No... Bradley stuck to the tired cliches.
  7. I agree. I wanted this (Dangerous Single White Female Taylor) the moment I heard from AMC fans that Budig could play bad girl very well. I think they could lean into that right now... especially if they don't want to write her off. The current situation is just too sad for her. I almost teared up when she was sobbing and saying "I knew this would happen." Even through the bad writing, Budig managed to make me feel something. I really still can't believe this "engagement" was broken off so fast. IMO this feels like a rewrite. But we'll see.
  8. She looks absolutely amazing. WOW.
  9. What doesn't surprise me is timing. It seems to me the writers are trying to find a way to free Victoria up for Sloan. But... at the same time I don't think (in that regard) Sloan is much different. He has been hiding his son's "condition" and feels incredibly ashamed that he was gay. I don't know if they will go there with Viki and Sloan, but it seems they needed something to put a real wedge between her and Clint. Oh, sounds like a bad situation. I never knew this.
  10. Or the HPV virus ๐Ÿ˜‚ Because we all know Brooke's history and where that mouth has been for the past 4 decades... and men are usually asymptomatic.
  11. If this storyline was happening 20 years ago... I would say Taylor right now... would suddenly feel nauseated and we'll hear she is pregnant 5 episodes from now. Just as Brooke is planning her wedding with Ridge. God... now as I think about it... Bradley Bell is crazy enough to write this even in the character's 60s. ๐Ÿ˜‚ But... Nah... I think she is done. I have this gut feeling this was not a good sign. I call this "The Hunter Tylo" curse and that is anyone who attempts this role... is done in a year or two.Maybe we'll get a 4th Taylor in the future. ๐Ÿ˜†
  12. Brooke pre-lobotomy (sometime in the last decade) was never that pathetic of a victim. She would have moments where she would take it, yes... but then she always made a move that turned everything in her favor. She used to be very crafty and unpredictable. And she would bite with words so hard that you could feel the venom dripping. Brooke would not just stand there and blink, she would have something to say. That's my point. Other than that I agree that Katie is horribly wasted. Katie should not be even on speaking terms with Brooke if you ask me - Brooke was getting orgasms by her husband while Katie was flat-lining in a hospital. That's a relationship-breaking thing IMO, sisters or not.
  13. It absolutely is... Did you see today... how they wrapped it up with a 2 dollar rose? ๐Ÿ˜‚ And Taylor actually said... something like "I knew this would happen." while sobbing. This is the smartest thing she has said in the entire show so far. YA THINK Taylor? Please write this Poor man's Taylor off... and let us forget this every happened. PLEASE. Budig should have been a new role. Yet another talented actress wasted. YET ANOTHER.
  14. P.S I hope both Taylor and Brooke get a quick STD test soon because Ridge is nasty.
  15. I still have a whiplash from what I saw today. Well... that was a fast wrap. Ridge chose Brooke. Who would have guessed this? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ This time we didn't even get to the altar. I think this Taylor will go in history as The "Poor man's Taylor". Budig was given the worst of scraps. From "Broken heart syndrome" to... actually proposing marriage to Ridge. This couldn't get any worse. Every single minute this woman has been on she has been talking about Ridge. NOTHING else. She has absolutely no identity, no soul, no nothing. And where from now? Is she going to be slowly tuned out... of the show. Or what? I ask this question very seriously. What happens now when her entire reason to be in the show is pretty much eliminated. I wish I could laugh at this. It definitely feels IMO like Brad was planning for a bigger thing and wanted the Budig-Taylor thing to work, he tried making it happen, but I feel he saw the ratings or just... the overall bad reaction to it and decided to wrap it up fast. Maybe he believed it could work better like it did with Krista, but it just didn't. And one more thing -Bridge didn't even reunite on a beach or... somewhere dramatic... or even near a fountain or something. They literally did this scene in the Forrester office room. We saw all this bull for months so they could wrap it all up in the Forrester building. They could have done it in the toilet and it wouldn't have made that much a difference. Even I, who you all know has zero expectations from this drivel... am shocked at how botched this was. And Brooke, she gasped when she saw a 2 dollar rose being given to her LIKE IT WAS THE HOPE diamond. No, bitch, all you get is a 2 dollar rose and a penis later in the evening. You got played once again, your child got called a bitch and a whore and you stood there and DID NOTHING. Shame on you, Brooke. Shame on you!
  16. Stop it! I completely forgot about that! OMG! I can't wait to see these messes again!
  17. I think you have found the perfect words to describe this fiasco. The one thing that really bugs me is how they are spinning it again to be Brooke's fault. Jesus Christ, Ridge is not a 6 year old child that was persuaded by another kid to eat ice cream in secret. Taylor is not his mommy. Ridge is a man in his sixties and somehow his whole family including his two children and Taylor enables him and makes excuses for him all the time. At this point they are going to blame Brooke for global warming and the war in Ukraine. I'm sick of this one-sided bull. And even more absurd is that Brooke takes all of these people harassing her and talking to her like she is less than them... she turns the other cheek. All the time. Why is she even standing there listening to Thomas belittle her and threaten her? I can't even recognize the character anymore. Who is this woman?
  18. Couldn't have said it better.
