Up to January 7th, 1993 🦩 "The Re-Invention of Blair Cramer." 🔷 Here we go... I'm 4 episodes in 1993 and I must say - I am really enjoying the enhanced quality of the source. It's 200 percent better, and the audio quality is what makes the biggest difference. Even my husband joined me and had no trouble watching (he couldn't tolerate the pixelated 1992 episodes, even though I remind him that we should be thankful all of this is available on YouTube). 🔷 Just when we thought Blair was cornered and about to lose her company, an idea came to her. She plans to accuse Asa of raping her. Yes, you heard correctly. There was the sort of perverted almost escort-ish thing going on, but she intends to escalate the situation and produce a false witness who can back up her claims of getting raped in Asa's house. Specifically, someone Asa fired - a person who could be bought and holds a grudge against him. It's getting really crazy. Mia Korf is going to be leaving this show very soon... and I can't see how, since Blair is center stage in every single moment. I wonder how they did the change. 🔷 Blair's path of destruction isn't restricted to one person or location. She is set on making everyone else suffer with her. Her next target was Max. She wants him to lie at her divorce hearing and claim he never slept with her after the marriage, never even met her privately at the spa. Luna found out about this and confronted Blair. That unexpected moment when she grabbed Blair at the end was very soapy. 🔷 The character assassination of Clint (to make Viki more likely to cheat with Sloan) has started up again. They are repeating the same type of thing they did months ago. But this time... creating an issue for Viki and Clint to fight... out of thin air. The new problem is about Kevin dating Rachel. They took it further by having Kevin accuse Clint of being a racist. I don't understand what this actor did to cause the producers/writers to first portray his character as a homophobe and now suggest he might be a racist, forcing him to DENY it... but YIKES, YIKES, YIKES. I'm a bit upset because I want Clint to be with Viki. But here they go again, making him unlikable and having Viki argue with him about it. AGAIN. Oh... and before I forget - Viki saw Dorian leaving Sloan's bedroom after "putting her clothes on" and misunderstood the situation. Her usual QUEEN MASK fell apart, revealing a very disturbed, jealous woman, almost crying in front of the house. L-O-V-E-D this. Oh, Viki... do it already. 🔷 The other person accused of being a racist, Hank... is facing an ultimatum from his daughter - either accept my relationship with Kevin or LOSE ME! He refuses to back down, even going so far as to confront Kevin and threaten him to STAY AWAY from Rachel. I wonder if the producer/writers are not writing themselves in a corner by making so many characters unlikable. This contributes to the overall DARK and TWISTED atmosphere of the show, which I usually enjoy (as a huge fan of Dostoevsky, I thrive on misery). The positive - I really appreciated Rachel standing her ground. She's my favorite character at the moment. And seeing her torn between her parents is fascinating. 🔷 I brought this up in a previous post and talked about it with you all. Todd Manning is here now, but he is not that active at the moment. The actor has presence... I give him that. I haven't heard more than a few lines from him yet, but his face is memorable even at such a young age. Overall - 7.5/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clip of the day Luna vs Blair!

This. They haven't had a decent storyline since that moment.

Your daily (or nightly) thought
I decided to change the Christmas tree, because I saw one I liked and wanted to recreate and enhance myself. So... I bought a new one... so huge it's bigger than me... and had to decorate it for 6 astronomical hours going back and forth to the store to buy additional ornaments. Now I'm so sore my whole body aches... But the tree is sublime. It has hundreds of ornaments. I haven't eaten since this morning. More than 9 hours ago. I'm literally beaten down by a Christmas tree. 😂

Thank you. When Rachel and Kevin sat at their table at the roadhouse... I instantly started worrying if something is not going to happen to Rachel. But then I saw that Todd and the other hooligans had their attention set at Marty. She is the easiest prey - drunk and using drugs, with no support system... They've been giving her even more negative and toxic moments... Now we saw her stealing stuff and being a kleptomaniac. I still think she is undescribable trash, played by a one of a kind actress and I won't ever forget the pain and hysteria she caused with accusing Andrew of pedophilia. That's why I found it absolutely shocking when Cassie and Andrew had her in their Christmas list. It was a bit too much even for a man of God. Even though I get it's part of their condescending friendliness with people they pity... similar to how Viki operates with enemies.

Now I'm worried. P.S. I found it interesting how they introduced him. In his first episode he was sort of like an extra. I think he had like half a line or something and was just doing things in the background. His only line was about Marty. I had to do a double check with the older version I'd seen in pictures and even asked my husband: "Is this the same person?"... with him absolutely confirming it is. Compared to how Blair or Luna were thrown into the show... Pretty much giving them center stage moments... It was really... different. Do you know if he was intended to be as big of a character as he later became? At this point I don't even get the impression he will be anything important. (Even though I know he will... I've seen him mentioned by soap fans for years.) It's a very interesting choice to just slither him in so slowly and quietly.

If you were watching "The Bold And The Beautiful" then things would have gotten reeeally uncomfortable, hahah. I think I learned the word "slut" and the word "whore" by watching Bold and hearing my grandma yell at the TV at Brooke every single day. She would use it only for Brooke and my aunt Tatiana! 😁 So, yeah... soaps helped me learn bad words as a child.- What Are You Listening To?

The solution is very simple. Just remove the picture part of the URL. If the url is - x... blah blah bla/photo/1... JUST remove the "/photo/1" part... then copy the rest of the URL... and repost and it will embed. I just tried it, works like a charm.- One Life to Live Tribute Thread
Sadly... I think you are right... especially about the bolded part. I can't agree more. I think I even said something very similar months ago. I am STILL not satisfied with the amount of material they are giving her. Just when I think she's about to be front and center... we don't see her for a week or two. I also think they missed a chance long time ago when they had that racist actress that was against Sheila... that old psycho biddy woman... I forgot her name... they never delved into that for more than couple of episodes. In my opinion it should have led to Sheila getting her MOMENT and shining through. It was a missed opportunity. I am loving Bo and Nora!- One Life to Live Tribute Thread
Agree on that too... I would have said just "Scarlett O'Hara". We don't need the Daimler part, it made it sound unnatural (as an actor myself, this is one of these things that looks good when it's written, but when you have to SAY it... it's absurd) and not something a straight man would say. But Andrew does STILL make my gay radar beep... so who knows. LOL. But then when Blair yelled out - "I'm going to outlive and outlast all of you" they were clearly taking direct inspiration from "Gone with the Wind". I have to re-read it sometime, it used to be one of my favorite books growing up.- BTG: December 2025 Discussion Thread
They auditioned for Samantha!- One Life to Live Tribute Thread
You are so correct when you say Max is not a prize. And that idea about Luna walking off... would have been soooo good. Max has been struggling with hiding his receding hairline in the front for quite a while now... and I think these new haircuts that are supposed to hide it... make him look off. They are putting the longer hair back and to the side where it's balding. P.S. Just saw my first episode of 1993 and Luna grabbed Blair so hard... I gasped. I love seeing glimpses of the old wilder Luna, even if it's... in the role of fighting for a guy.- B&B: November 2025 Episode Rankings

Up to December 31st, 1992 🦩 🔷 I did it! Woohoo! One whole COMPLETE year of OLTL is behind me! My journey into "classic soaps" started off with "Guiding Light" and "The Doctors", then I dipped my toes into "The Edge of Night", had a quick experiment with "Another World" till I finally landed at my home base with "All My Children" and... the show that has my heart - "One Life To Live". Who would have thought that at 30 years old, this grown a-s man would discover his all-time favorite soap? I was convinced I had already seen the best and that nothing could ever top the 1992-1993 era of "The Bold And The Beautiful". But guess what? 1992 OLTL totally did. From Blair and Dorian's gothic drama at the start of the year... to Andrew and Billy and the culmination of the AIDS Quilt... and then the precious "Anna Karenina in Llanview" - Viki and Sloan. WHAT AN AMAZING YEAR this has been! Let's finish it off with the last 2 episodes! 🔷 First... what a New Year's Eve party!!! I think these might be the most entertaining final episodes of a soap opera year I've ever seen! I'm not exaggerating. BTG should totally throw a ball like this for New Year's 2026. It was a glorious party full with everything you could dream of - drama, intrigue, surprise twists, love, disappointment, betrayal, and even a couple of outcasts peeking in... 🔷 I would like to note a few things about the Viki/Sloan/Clint situation. Sloan is playing Viki like a violin. He knows exactly how to push her buttons, and that KISS with Dorian when the clock struck midnight on January 1st, 1993... oh boy, that was the cherry on top! Viki basically died inside. Like, she absolutely DIED! Of course she hid it well and kissed her own hubby while totally staring at Sloan the whole time. This woman has totally fallen and I LOVE IT. 🔷 Nora and Bo are the latest duo in town. They aren't dating or romantically involved, but they are forming this amazing friendship. I adore them together. I never thought I would view Bo positively after what his did to Cassie, yet here I am... cheering for him to heal and find happiness. Spending the night in jail while all kinds of eccentric characters clashed with them, was very entertaining and provided the much needed comedic relief. Very Woody-Allen-esque. But this time it worked. They even managed to spoil Hank and Sheila's night. While Hank was taking care of them, Sheila was left all alone, with no one to kiss or hug her when the moment arrived! Poor thing. 🔷 In a very touching twist... Leanne and Jason, who were meant to work as servers that night... received an unexpected gift. Renee invited them to the party as guests. GOD I LOVE RENEE. She is the HEART of this show. To top it off, they were crowned Queen and King of the night, and it was heartwarming to see the two individuals who are struggling the most financially take center stage... glowing and in love. Meanwhile, Kevin observed them from afar, with Rachel by his side, serving as a good distraction. I wish he would recognize Rachel for who she truly is, rather than merely using her to boost his ego after Leanne. 🔷 The meat and potatoes of these episodes... was the unwelcome guest, THE PERSONA NON GRATA, also known as Blair Cramer, who crashed the party with a shocking bombshell. She grabbed the microphone and tried... and likely succeeded in humiliating Asa Buchanan in front of everyone, making him appear like the biggest CUCK of the year. The crowd was cringing... I was worried that Asa might suffer another angina attack. Later... Karma struck swiftly and coldly, like a knife piercing her heart, when Blair invited Max to a dance. This was the moment we had ALL been waiting for y'all. After witnessing this man BEG her for attention and LOVE throughout most of 1992... it was such a beautiful sight to see her get rejected as if she meant NOTHING to him. Even though we know deep down that Max still has feelings for her... this was KARMA... a year in the making, and I relished seeing her left ALONE and isolated from the entire community on New Years. She earned it after everything she did. Actually... almost everyone received their karma that night. 🔷 The more unimportant characters and events - Idiotina said YES to Cain's marriage proposal and then f-cked him in one of the hotel's rooms. God she's so cheap. And Mortimer presented himself to Renee as Carlo in a pathetic attempt to get her attention. Alex was left all alone, "glued" in her tacky apartment by Morty. Even these confused characters (Alex, Cain, Mort and Idiotina) were bearable on those 2 episodes! 🔷 And with this I'm stepping into 1993. I have grown to love this show and the standard is now pretty high. They did it to themselves... now I have HUGE Expectations. Cheers to a great... if not even better 1993 in Llanview! Overall - 10+/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clip of the day Blair drops a BOMBSHELL on New Years Eve. "I'M GOING TO OUTLIVE AND OUTLAST ALL OF YOU"- ALL: Actual knowledge learned from soaps
I also learned a lot about IVF... That storyline when they mistakenly put Brooke and Nick's embrio in Taylor's womb left a mark.- Daily Hotness
Mmmm I don't know who it is. Just some guy that worked at the boat who she was flirting with. Is there anything I should know about him? - ALL: Actual knowledge learned from soaps
