From your lips to God's ears!

I've been reading our monthly discussions for years and there is this constant that has never left the room. Pretty much 99.9 percent of people want a new head writer. For reasons known to anyone who has seen even 1 episode of Bold these days. I'm yet to meet someone that thinks Bradley Bell is great. (Someone that isn't trolling) I am wondering now... I am 29 years old, 30... in a few months. I don't know how much longer the show will be on... maybe 1, maybe 5, maybe 10 or a crazy dreamer may say - 20 years... Who knows. But will I see it in my lifetime (when I'm 40 or 50 or 60)... the show written by someone else? This question plagues my mind. I would also love to hear the opinions of people who think Bradley is good or even great. I am open to any points of view. A lot of people have told me through the years they believe Bradley will never step down, till he can still do it. Don't get me wrong. I am wishing him long and healthy life of course, but I am just... struggling with the idea that we'll be seeing decades more of this. 2024 has been a year for the show that has left many of us with horrible bitter taste. We are accustomed to the low quality now for years and years, but this current season smells of something way worse. So... Is it even possible? Will my dream come true and some day I open the forum to read that Errol or Toups or anyone else has posted in a new topic... that someone else is taking over the head-writing spot? I believe that the show still has a lot of potential and an amazing cast. I've said this many times. I still struggle to believe the material they are giving these people. And with the proper head-writing touch, the show can still be turned into gold. I will never dream of the quality of 1989-1993 for example... but anything other what we currently have. So... what do you guys think. Will we see this happen some day... or the fate of the show is predestined?

God... I will die to be able to watch this era in full.

Is the quality that much better? Woah that is getting me excited. And do they have captions?

I'll take any Brooke scandal at this point. Any. I'm starved... I haven't heard her say I made a mistake in literally years. What dark times we live in. 😄

I haven't even started on this show. Didn't have time for it. Still don't. But being on prime is such a great way to watch. I have to sneak it into my schedule. Are they prime videos with 480 resolution or HD?

About 20-30 episodes for me to get really hooked. As I recall... But that was long time ago. Take what I say with a grain of salt. I haven't watched Sunset Beach in nearly 10 years. Maybe even more. But as a kid, it was my second favorite soap after Bold. I watched it religiously. And when I found it on the internet 10-15 years ago I watched it again and I remember the start was a bit annoying and then it got good.

Shockingly well... Her and KKL have been getting some really cringe dialogue lately. I find myself thinking, God, these women have some serious patience and professionalism in... trying to deliver this drivel in the best way possible.

Youngsters these days... don't know how to chew scenery like the OGs! ❤️
