  1. Jesus Christ. That sounds ominous.
  2. I have always said that it's 1994 that it's the worst year of bold, maybe only topped by 2024... but let me stand corrected. It's 2003. This year has the biggest amount of nonsense, bad acting, bad scripts, overall disgusting lowest of the low quality. For some reason I didn't remember Bridget and Ridge going on for such a long period of time. THEY TRIED and tried to make this storyline work. To the point of no return. Ridge is completely destroyed as a character. And the word princess will never sound normal when I hear it in my life. For real, at times this sounds like some bad baaaaaaaaad porno.
  3. It was really bad. Felt incredibly off. And I agree that the impression was not a good one.
  4. Idiots tend to go in groups. Find one when he or she is alone, and they have nothing to say. Only in groups they gain their power. Jokes.
  5. Bradley is writing it in such a way, that it's pretty obvious this infiltration attempt will not be successful. If he were not that obvious, I would think Steffy and Ridge had a chance of getting the company back. But the way it's being plotted, it's quite clear it won't succeed and it's just a filler drama... before some hardcore family stuff. He's done it before in 1993 when they had a snake trying to manipulate Brooke posing as her masseuse. It didn't work then, it won't work now.

  7. Omg... The chemistry between them just standing there. This is working. It's amazing. I am sooooo hyped up right now.
  8. I found it! McKinsey: I tried to reach Jill that week to tell her first. She was on vacation. I tried for two days and they wouldn't give me the number where she could be reached and I got crazy. I'm thinking, 'Oh, my God, my God, I'm gonna do my last scene and be standing there and then what do I do?' Because the notice was going the next morning to the ad agency and then everybody would know. Jill's assistants claimed they didn't have a number for her. Well, that wasn't true -- but I understand not wanting to be bothered on your vacation. So I said, 'If she calls in, come and find me wherever I am in the building. It's very important that I talk to her.' And on that last afternoon, at four o'clock when I got ready to go to the studio floor to work straight through till I finished, I still hadn't heard from her. So I sat down and wrote her a letter. I said, 'I'm really sorry you have to read this because I wanted you to hear it from me, but I cannot leave this studio without saying goodbye to the crew and the people who are here.' And that's the way she found out -- in a letter. And she has never responded to that letter. And I'm sorry about that. But I read the rules and I followed them. If they're bent out of shape about anything, it's because for one of the few times in their lives, somebody left them instead of the other way around. C'mon, grow up! They fire actors there all the time. It happens to us all the time without warning. So if they're bent out of shape it's because, for once, somebody beat 'em at their own game. If somebody wants to leave after they've been working 22 years, give 'em a break and let 'em go! I didn't violate any clause. I went exactly by what the contract said.
  9. I loved it. And I didn't perceive the Squid Game parody as a rip-off, but a... a parody. Drag is all about that and since SG is so current right now and it's main theme is games, it would have been stupid not to do it. I laughed sooo hard.... I even had to invite my husband to see it, since he is a huge Squid Game fan.
  10. Can someone help me with this - what is the first date Nancy Curlee is credited as head writer in 1990?
  11. I am on the opposite side of the spectrum in terms of opinions. I think this is the strongest debut episode of a season in... years and years and years. The last season in my opinion was very underwhelming. This time... I'm excited. We'll see how it goes... Sadly they haven't been able to deliver the quality of Seasons 2-6 in a loooong time.
  12. God... I'm so irked we don't have this period available to watch. Thanks for sharing.
  13. Strong times for Another World! Thank you for posting these! I've been checking them out every chance I got.
  14. OMG, I have to find this interview! P.S - Found it! https://iriswheeler.tripod.com/tvguide19920811.html
  15. I want her to instruct the security not to let Ridge or Taylee in the building. And I want her to throw all of Steffy's things out of the building. Pack them in a box and throw them out!
  16. Another World - January 4th, 1989 A helping hand may be a knife in the back soon. I'm baaaaaaaaack! After a week of watching "Squid Game" and missing my Bay City friends, we are back! We watched this episode the other day, but this is the first time I'm taking the time to write this down. Today we have January 5th to watch in our schedule! So... let's begin shall we! In the aftermath of the restaurant fire, the police was looking for any evidence that may help their investigation. Pilara's guilty conscience led her back to Mary's house where she clumsily left the keys on the counter. Later in the day she came back only to raise suspicion when Vince asked her what she did on New Year's Eve. He then called the police and told them her name. Donna Hudson drove Jamie and Vicky insane with her wedding party planning. She did not stop blabbing idiotic ideas and dominating the entire conversation. Jamie ran away to his mommy and grandma and Vicky sprinted off to Amanda, feeling doubts about the wedding. Amanda calmed her down! These two girls are equally deluded at times. John, once again triggered by an intimate moment between him and Sharlene, was struck by another episode of PTSD. He immediately called Mary's office and asked for an appointment. I smell problems for him and Sharlene. In Amanda's apartment... Iris pitted mother against daughter while posing as a supporter for Amanda - opposing Rachel's concerns. "You always have a reason for what you do." That little smile on Iris's face when she smelled blood... (seeing Amanda think her mother is underestimating her) MADE ME SCREAM with laughter. I watch soap operas for these small moments and details. Carmen Duncan MADE THAT scene. And talking about Carmen, Iris finished the episode with once again fake-offering help to organize Donna's party. She was so nice, so friendly, but as soon as Donna left the room, Iris took their family photo and vowed to destroy their marriage. Ouch! Overall - 10 out of 10 - One of the best episodes so far. Best moment - Iris vs Rachel. Another World - January 4, 1989.mp4
