  1. She never will be. Susan was in a different league. And frankly, if the writing wasn't so lopsided Brooke would eat Steffy alive. She went toe to toe with Stephanie for years, and Steffy is not her grandmother.
  2. I would much have preferred if Belle was the abuser. It would be much harder for Tom to get anyone to believe him if/when he spoke up, and Belle could use the threat of her family to keep him in line. But that would require them to make a Dingle the actual villain for once, and we can't have that, can we.... We're supposed to look upon them as being right all the time, even when they're doing horrible things. 🤮 Funny, even that small glimpse of Emmerdale Farm brought me more pleasure than a whole month's worth of the current show.
  3. I doubt the Seine is pleasant to fall into regardless of season....
  4. Tom kicked the urn and her ashes spread all over the place. Tom then blamed Belle for it because she "upset" him. Go to around 4.10
  5. This is incredible.... One can't help but wonder, is it an accident, or something else? https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-us-canada-68663071?src_origin=BBCS_BBC
  6. What is it with this show and dead people's ashes? I don't think anyone has forgotten the disgusting way they handled Liv's ashes, and now they're at it again with Lisa's.... I find it really distasteful, and it makes me incredibly grateful that they didn't do anything like this with Annie's ashes.
  7. Today we celebrate waffles here
  8. One might say that she did just that by accepting the ring from Thomas. He knew (because she told him) that she wasn't ready for anything more than that at the moment, yet he still proposed again, so if she had said yes I doubt he would have been willing to wait 5 years for the actual wedding. He would have started putting pressure on her for that immediately.
  9. Can't argue with that!
  10. I thought she made her position very clear from the start of the relationship, and she has also been very clear about not being ready for marriage. And you can have a family without being married. My parents didn't marry until I was twelve, but I never doubted that we were a family. It's honestly quite refreshing for B&B to have a character unwilling to rush into marriage for once. Usually they can hardly wait for the ink to dry on the divorce (or annulment) papers before they marry someone else.
  11. For heaven's sake! Hope simply said that she didn't want to get married! They're acting like she committed a deadly sin. It's ridiculous. Talk about making a mountain out of a mole-hill.
