I really didn't need to see Johnny sucking the blood off his finger after Gabi slapped him. WTF 😂 I love Carson but not a fan of JoDevil. The scenes with Allie were good. I love Paulina and I'd love to see her go after some of the DiMera fortune. Give me that storyline. I laughed when she told Chanel to stay out of grown folks business. Kristen waving a gun around is so tired. I'm really enjoying Abby right now. Finally who character who gets to be smart.

I agree. Bo isn't around. Ciara is on the show but recurring and on like once a week and doesn't have a story. Same for Shawn. What are they going to do, bring her back and reunite her with Rafe? I'll pass.

It won't happen but me too ☺️ They can just say they're paying homage to his role on Spartacus.

I adore Leo but if he is involved in any way, this story will be played completely for sh-ts and giggles.

Nothing against Curtis, but he felt super out of place to me today. I'm assuming Jon Londstrom was unavailable so they figured Curtis was the next best thing. I get what they were going for, it was just funny having all these vets and then there's Curtis. I loved Scotty today and Luke's ashes blowing in his face was my favorite part of the episode. Why did the episode have to end with Carly and Sonny? We really couldn't skip their drama for one day? It's so tired. I'm already over the Jennifer Smith thing. The general consensus online seems to be "who?" I was actually watching last time she popped up but I don't remember her. Did no other actors want to return? This is so random. Apparently Lucas isn't over losing Wiley. Wouldn't it be something if we were actually seeing that?

Nancy's wig is tragic but I didn't realize PD is 73. For whatever reason I thought she was a lot younger. She looks good. I'm almost dreading watching today because of this mask silliness and horny JoDevil with Gabi.

Wasn't it hilarious? I watched it a couple times. EJ looked like he shat himself up there. 😅 I like him but I don't feel at all bad that this is happening to him. I just wish Trask had brought up the rape to really make him speechless up there. I also love that Abby has the Salem brain right now. Someone asked about Johnny's outfit. I haven't seen today, but he was wearing a fencing outfit at the end of yesterday's episode so I'm guessing that's what he's still (partially) wearing today.

Days of our Lives 1/24/2022 Weekly Preview Promo
You just know it's going to be something stupid like Ben surprises Ciara by buying a cute outfit for the baby. They'll spend the entire episode in bed slobbering all over each other. Get rid of them. Also, bring on "BJ."

Jennifer Smith? Whatever. I suppose Frank thinks this is amazing and that we're going crazy over it.

The thing that kills me with these blind items is that we never find out who they were about afterward, so the next time a soap recasts a character, SOD can just be like, "See we told you!" I pretty much could've written these because they're so vague.

These blind items could be literally anyone on any soap and half of them probably won't even materialize. 😅

Summer died off screen at some point in the last year when Suzanne Rogers was off screen. She had cirrhosis I think. I can't remember if Summer's condition is how they explained Maggie leaving for a while, but when she came back in the fall she said that Summer had died. No loss, lol.

General Hospital January 2022 Discussion Thread
GH is so dull right now, and I'm guessing others agree since this thread is getting almost no action the last couple days. I am so beyond over this Carly/Sonny crap. How many times can we possibly see them have the same conversations with different characters? In the past couple of weeks we've seen Carly talk to Sonny, Nina, Drew, Diane, Olivia, and Sam (and probably others I'm forgetting), and she says the exact same thing every time. We've seen Sonny talk to Carly, Nina, Phyllis, Brick, Michael, and Dante. My goodness, we get their point of view. We hear every thought and feeling of theirs. It's so repetitive and boring. And it's annoying to see them have these same conversations four days a week when other storylines barely get airtime. I'm tired of seeing them. Speaking of things that are annoying... Wes Ramsey was on today. "Hamilton Finn tried to kill MEEEEEEE!" God he's awful. Marshall's scenes are almost as repetitive as Carly and Sonny's. All he does is talk in riddles every time he's on. I love how he was having a medical emergency and they just had Epiphany standing around shouting, as if she doesn't know what to do. I do like Chase and Brooklyn. His reaction to Brooklyn having his phone number memorized was so cute. I also really like Chase and Dante's friendship, so I'm glad we're seeing more of that. The stuff with Brooklyn hitting Cam over the head was really random. Not that I want to see it, but Austin has more chemistry with Felicia than he does with Maxie. Is Elizabeth getting a story? Color me intrigued. For once, it's not entirely obvious where it's going. I'm just hoping it doesn't involve Peter, lol. I loved her scenes with Cameron.

I quite enjoyed Trask making EJ sh-t himself on the stand. I could do without the DiMera takeover nonsense. The devil isn't even causing trouble. He just wants to be CEO and bang Gabi. Lame as hell.

So there's a button/switch on the back of the mask that changes the voice? SMH, so ridiculous. Kristen wearing Steve's eye patch was funny.

Duke wasn't even the worst part of the episode to be honest. I'd rather see that than Nicole having sex dreams about Rafe. What a horrible episode besides Steve and Kayla. Does the show have absolutely zero wardrobe budget? Why was Gwen naked the whole episode in her scenes with Abigail? That was ridiculous.

Drew is already turning into the town therapist. I like CM but this is lame. There is plenty they could be doing with him besides having him be a talk-to.

Man, this show is boring, boring, boring. How many times can we see the same scenes over and over again with Carly/Sonny/Nina? It's the same conversation every day. And we get so much point of view about their every thought and feeling while other characters get nothing. We see Carly say the same thing to Olivia, Drew, and Diane. We see Sonny talking to Brick. Nina has the same conversation with Phyllis, Ava, and Britt. There is no reason for this story to be on five days a week when nothing is happening. I'm tired. Also, they already seem to have no idea what to do with Drew. He's just the town therapist. A talk-to. Drew has no personality. He's just Mr. Nice Guy. Give him an edge. Give him some trauma after what he went through. He's way too well adjusted. I cannot believe we're spending time on Marshall and Epiphany. The Jeff Webber story got dropped and there's been almost no movement with the teens in months, but we can give Mr. Hat a pairing?! Dreadfully boring episode today.- DOOL: Promo, week of 17. January
