Gabi is usually one of the best dressed characters on the show. What in the world is this coat?

LOL. Those sweatpants didn't leave much to the imagination. 👀 Sadly that was the highlight today. Jake and Ben talking business had me rolling my eyes. And Tripp/Roman together, goodness that was boring.

I fast forwarded Ben and Ciara's scenes, including the ones with Johnny. These are the two most pointless characters on daytime. Oh wow, they're getting a different apartment. Riveting. I'm assuming the writers finally remembered that the devil wants their baby? It's stupid because they could've just had Johnny stay with Chanel and get her pregnant, that way the devil could have his "own" child without having to snatch Cin's. Plus that baby would be Marlena and Stefano's great-grandchild. But whatever. Gotta show Cin at least once a month I guess. How long until the higher ups see the response to the Craig stuff and say it's evidence that soap viewers don't like gay storylines? I wouldn't mind this so much if they had take their time with it and if there had been some build up, but instead Craig has been back for a week and boom he's gay. Totally out of nowhere.

This show is a mess. How many times can we possibly see Sonny and Carly have these scenes? I have never fast forwarded this show but I am very tempted lately. It is the same dialogue five days a week, just with them talking to different characters each time. I am so tired of them. They completely eat the screen in every episode, but other characters can barely get featured. Case in point... Sam. Seems like she has all sorts of story happening off-screen. Kristina said that Sam is just trying to distract herself from her own mess of a life. What mess? Sam has barely been on and has no story or drama. Kristina says Sam is torn between two men. Again, huh? Apparently there has been an entire triangle taking place off screen. And Dante says he and Sam have been having issues since Drew returned? None of this is playing out on screen. Then to make matters weirder, Sam randomly shows up 40 minutes into the episode (with no explanation as to why she's suddenly there), has literally one line, and is all cozy with Dante and there's no drama with them, and she doesn't interact with Drew at all and there's none of this supposed conflict. Absolutely bizarre writing. Monica showed up out of nowhere too. Weird episode. At least Kristina actually got to talk to Alexis about Harmony though I hate that she supports this ridiculous friendship. Austin is just... not it. I have no idea what they're trying to do with him. "What does it mean when a man kisses a woman?" LOL what? Why does Britt have to explain the birds and the bees to this 50-year-old man? Are we getting a 50-year-old virgin storyline? They're writing him like a high schooler. And that half manbun/half mullet look is not good. They're really acting like Brad would be into Austin. 🙄 Talk about a downgrade from Lucas. I do love Britt and Brad. Drew has no personality. He's just a talk-to. Always smiling and optimistic. Absolutely no trauma after everything he went through. I like CM but this is lame. Brooklyn is wearing a blazer even at her dad's wedding. 🙄 Not here for Willow getting a story. At least the regular Leo was on today, I like him.

I've come to like the Easton kid so I'm glad the replacement is just a temp. 😃 I feel like they're running out of people for Carly and Sonny to talk to. Sonny getting relationship advice from Ned??? Come on.

Lol at one episode for Ben and Ciara. Love seeing Abby at the top. She's getting great writing right now. She's in possession of the Salem brain. They definitely gave Jarlena a break this month after the possession. I can't believe we saw the DiMera mansion more than the square. 😅 Thanks Jason!

Who wrote today? There was some bad dialogue. We had Nancy talking about how she loves that Craig is a REAL MAN... inferring that he's not a real man because he's secretly gay. Then we had Chloe talking about how Craig was always "different" from the other dads because he enjoyed opera and what not. Stereotype much? It is hard to believe that a gay man is the headwriter of this show. There was also a line where Roman essentially said he hopes EJ gets raped in prison. I get that EJ is a rapist himself and that Roman has every reason to dislike him, but really? Roman has too many women close to him who have been raped for them to have him making jokes like that. They could've left that line out or just have him say he hopes EJ gets beat up.

DAYS was setting up this type of story with Ava, Tripp, and Charlie. Ava had no use for Charlie, but adored Tripp because he's Steve's son. This could've been a good story but they killed Charlie off before really getting to explore the family dynamic.

I don't know why Real would've responded to multiple fans on Friday saying he's back soon if it wasn't true. GH doesn't tape far enough ahead to where we'd still be seeing unvaccinated actors from before the mandate went into effect. They wrote years and years of story for Ben and Ciara in like, 2 years. Now they're already married and settled down and having a baby. The writers obviously are not going to have them cheat or break up and get with other people. There is absolutely no story left to tell with them, unless we're going to see Ben save Ciara from kidnappers every other month. I hate them but I'm totally fine with them riding off into the sunset together. They can pop in for Christmas or something if the actors are available. Maybe Rob can go back to The Price is Right. I liked him there. 🙃

Exactly. And even if Ron is serious about it, we could always have a different writer some day who brings the character back and says Rolf was behind the whole thing. It's DAYS.

This scene cracked me up.

The issue I'm seeing (from people on Twitter and I agree) is that the sole black teen was drugged, humiliated, and put in a room off screen while the others got all the drama (which should very much involve Trina). And I don't even think this was a scheduling issue with SM as these cabin scenes were likely all filmed on the same day. They just chose to have Trina drugged and off screen while Joss got to tell off Esme and then have a cringeworthy love scene. It's like they want us to love Joss but know that Trina steals the spotlight from her every time and they can't have that, so she has to be off screen.

I don't think she used Trina's phone. They showed Esme with a burner phone on Tuesday.

It was extremely uncomfortable seeing Cam and Joss have sex knowing that Trina is in the next room probably passed out from being drugged. And no one even checked on her, they all just took Esme's word that she was sleeping. Poor Trina.

Does Craig come out and Nancy's reaction is to throw chowder on him? 🤨
