I shipped Leo and Xander on the main show and I did for this movie too. I would have went a little farther with them since it's a What If, but given time constraints, there was bigger plots in the movie.

I think it's a little unfair to compare Beyond Salem and this. Beyond Salem was a 5 episode miniseries. This is a 1 hour 20 minute Christmas movie.
As for if it's worth it being on Premium. If you paid the $5 specially to watch this and don't plan on watching anything else on Peacock, than no, it's probably not worth it to you. However, there's a lot of other content you can only get in the Premium tier I do think makes it worth it overall.
If you don't get Hallmark Channel, they have a subscription service that $6.99. If you plan on watching all gazillion Christmas movies they put out, it's well worth it, but if you only plan on watching one, I honestly can say there's a single Hallmark Christmas movie, alone that is worth $6.99 IMO.

They did mention Marlena's possession at the very beginning. Sonny asked Will why he waited until the last minute to write his movie script. Will said because of all the crazy stuff happening back home and his bosses didn't believe him that he needed an extension due to his grandma being possessed by the devil.

I overall really enjoyed the movie. I liked the twists and what ifs. I hope they do more spinoffs and specials.
As for the drag, I still enjoyed it this time around, but I agree, that now that they've done it twice, they need to give it a rest for a while. Too much of a good thing can be a bad.
Will and Sonny saying they missed home, I hope that's a hint they are coming back soon. They are needed on the main show.

I'm not against the DAYS Peacock spinoffs being on the premium tier, I'm a little surprised Peacock even has a free tier at all, most streaming services don't. I do think they should have told fans sooner. Finding out just a few days beforehand is a bit shady.
I agree that the Peacock exclusive stuff needs to do things the daytime show can't, whether it's nudity or language. Beyond Salem did push things a little bit, but they need to go farther.
AS an FYI, Charter/Spectrum just announced that depending on your plan you can get 3 to 12 months of Peacock Premium for free. Started yesterday.
While it won't cover everyone, Xfinity and Spectrum, are two of the largest internet providers. That's a lot of people that can get Peacock Premium without needing pay extra.

If you have Xfinity Internet, most of their customers get Peacock Premium for free. I didn't realize I already had it until I checked out for the Beyond Salem spinoff.

Overall I enjoyed it, especially the 80s commercials. Going into it, I was expecting to like the Facts of Life episode better than Different Strokes, since I am bigger fan of the former, but I enjoyed the Different Strokes episode way better. I don't know how, but Kevin Hart playing child Arnold just worked.
The Facts of Life episode they picked wasn't all that great, they should have picked a different one. If they wanted to do the "adults play teenagers" thing they should have just had the originals do it. They already had 3 of the 4, plus Lisa and Kim look like they've barely aged.

Hey, I was right. A promo was coming soon!
Starting off with Will and Sonny...great! This whole thing overall looks fun. I can't wait.
Obligatory "Can Sonny and Will join the main show full time soon?" comment.
Is the Sonny and Will scenes the only thing that's "canon"?

There's got to a promo trailer coming out for this soon right? It comes out next week. So far all we've got was a couple of clips from a What's coming in December on Peacock preview.

Overall I liked the event and really enjoyed the behind the scenes stories. Especially with the cast that has been there for decades. It was disappointing that there was no Sonny or Will at all. All these returns to the show, but still nada about them.

This article confirms several of the cast members involved. Yes, Zach Tinker is among them.

Just had a thought...
The way it's being described, we'll be watching a movie that Will wrote, so does that mean that Will is only going to appear in the beginning and the end to introduce and conclude the story? I hope not.
Since he included a hot shower sex scene between EJ and Abby in his movie about his mom, hopefully he wrote a hot sex scene with him and Sonny in his Christmas movie.

Wow that site basically plagiarized an article that Digital Spy already posted before them:
The original article is just speculation/guessing. We actually have no idea what's in store yet. Chris hasn't done any interviews or given any details yet.

Picture is from last Christmas when he visited his family in Salem and Sonny (then played by Freddie Smith) appeared via Zoom.
Thanks! Ignore then! LOL

If this is a picture from the movie, it looks like Will does come back to Salem.

I love this. Not only must Beyond Slem done well, but data must backup how popular Will and Sonny are to center this around Will. I assume Zach will also be back as Sonny. I can't wait to see who else is involved.

About damn time! At least one half of the gruesome twosome is gone. I don't know Chris Clenshaw, but I wish him the best. He has one hell of a mess to clean up.

Yeah, but you don't run the GH social media accounts.
Agreed. I can believe a lot of private people not being aware or use those features, but every PR person running the social media accounts for brands and companies from GH all the way up to McDonald's should be aware and using the save/bookmark button especially for controversial things. There's a simple solution for not wanting people to confuse likes for agreements, start using the save/bookmark features. That's what's it's there for. It's much easier to change your own behavior than everyone else's.

There is a Bookmark feature in Twitter though. In the past it would only appear on the app, but now it's also available when you login using a browser.
Same thing with Instagram. They have a Save/Bookmark button too, that's what that flag symbol on the right is. Once upon a time yes, liking something was the only was way bookmark something, but not anymore. If General Hospital Instagram account wanted to book mark Ingo's post than that's the what they should have done, not liked it.

@VeeIt was telling that Daytime Confidential almost immediately had to delete their story about Morina and never mentioned it again.
These outlets can’t afford to report on these stories and risk being blacklisted when they need access to cast for interviews, spoilers, etc.
When the Steve/Ingo need drops, this is going to likely be picked up by Fox News and could be a huge PR mess. I personally wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t say anything until their exits air.
Daytime Confidential hasn't been the same since Jamey Giddens left. Love or hate him, a lot of the backbone came from him posting scoops because he didn't care if he pissed off the networks and shows. I think it even allegedly cost him a potential writing gig at Y&R a several years back. Sad to see DC lose it's edge. There's very little reason to ever visit that site now.

Now that the vaccine rules for companies with 100+ workers have officially announced, I wonder are actors considered employees? Are we going to see a lot of casting announcements come the end of Dec, beginning of January, for the other 3 soaps?

Someone needs to break the news already! Everyone is talking about it anyways.

Spoiler
That is absolutely Greg Rikaart in that one cast photo. That better mean Sonny and Will are back too. They are way higher priority than Leo.

Yeah. I wonder if TVline was referring to the Love Actually scene between Kristen and Brady. He was naked for that, but we didn't see any more than we normally do on the main show.
