I was going off the theory she dropped it on purpose, but I was also thinking we'd see her again for the finale. I suppose it is still possible and we'll find out later she was more involved than initially believed. 

DAYS better not wait around too long to get Zach (and Chandler) under contract. If they wanted to wait until the series is over, to gauge reaction fine. Recasts can be risky, especially for "supercouples".  I think we have data to support this recast has been an overwhelming success and that WilSon is popular and belongs on the main show. 

So that finale... a bit over the top for my tastes. Was very happy to see Sonny and Will one last time (but hopefully not really the last time). I do hope this spin-off is success enough that they order more episodes. While I didn't enjoy everything, it was overall fun and the most entertained I've been with a soap opera in years.

That's because he actually has a screen partner that has high energy instead of the human Ambien. 

Chad has always been good friends with Sonny and Will, so when they wrote off WilSon, it certainly negatively affected the writing for Chad. WilSon balanced out the Dimera stories and other stuff. Chad needs his gays!

Yeah, my fear is DAYS waits too long to get him under contract and we'll be back to Freddie.  The last episode of the Spin-off is tomorrow, if the show was smart they'd announce Sonny and Will coming back to DAYS later tomorrow or sometime next week to capitalize on the good press. 

Freddie said he had already made up his mind to move on from DAYS before the called and asked him if was interested in Beyond Salem. Assuming he's telling the truth, I don't think this drag show was why he turned them down. 

To me, Freddie seems like he has just fallen out of love with acting. Happens. He's married, wants to start a family, living in Florida. I think he's moving on with his life, but still wants to keep his name out there to get people to watch his Podcast. 

Will was for sure having a good time and in his element. I liked that. 

My favorite moment though is when Sonny (in drag) kissed Will's hand (in drag) and that gave Will confidence. My heart went all a flutter. So cute and romantic.

Will and Sonny have definitely been to gay bars. That's actually how Will came out to his grandfather Roman. Will was a suspect to some crime I don't remember and his albi was that he was making out with some dude at the gay bar called "The Spot".  Once you get married, it can be pretty common to settle down and party less. 

Great Interview Errol. Zach is a talented guy, so I'm glad to see he has other projects in the pipe.  I hope DAYS doesn't wait too long, we finally got a great Sonny and almost everyone loves, I don't want to lose him. 

Episode 4 was a pretty fun watch.  Started out with Ben and Ciara which is  Of course the party they go to is a swingers party, because sex is all this couple ever does. 

I loved Eileen Davidson today. Those scenes with Kristen and Billie were great. A bit lazy writing that the necklace was dropped off camera, but pressed for time I suppose. 

The drag stuff with Chad, Sonny and Will was everything. So funny. Loved it. 

I was not expecting the reveal about Austin though. Who's he working for and why?

That was a great watch. The show should do watch parties like that more often. Was nice seeing the cast joke around and talk about the scenes. 

DAYS needs to get off the pot and make Chad bisexual already. Billy wants it, we want it. 

Even though it probably means nothing, at the end when Zach says he has hope that WilSon will be coming to DAYS, that gave me some hope. . Almost everywhere, people are loving the Phoenix story, saying it's the first time in years they've been interested in WilSon, how great Zach is. They a popular couple that just got a huge much needed shot in the arm. They would be so stupid not to bring them back.

It was the best episode so far. Are they filming the show differently? It looks different visually and more appealing. The direction by Noel Maxam was great today. Loved the closeups. 

The Will and Sonny shower scene was smoking hot!  The chemistry was oozing out. The kiss...Jesus Christ!!!  And we got a real close-up of it. Chandler and Zach's bodies....DAMN!!! What hunks!! Too bad Leo had to ruin it. I had to laugh at Leo saying.. It's not like I haven't seen before while grabbing Will's peacock in the shower. Wish Sonny and Will shower scene had been longer without Leo.

More Leo one liners...flirting with ever guy and his one liner about how hot Chad ass was....yes he said ass. 

Loved seeing Eileen Davidson as Kristen!  The ending was great!

 

I'm guessing episode 4 is where Will, Sonny and Chad become drag queens to find the missing jewel?

I also wish that they gave us a few more seconds of Sonny and Will alone in the shower ether before Leo came in or after he got kicked out, that did seem too short, but overall was hot. Zach and Chandler have the chemistry. 

Leo joining was still funny and enjoyable. There is NO way regular DAYS would have been allowed to have 3 gay men in a shower at once and Leo make a comment alluding to Will having a large cock at 1pm in the afternoon.  

No Ben and Ciara. Sonny and WIll shower scene. Eileen Davidson. Episode 3 was the best so far. Very enjoyable episode. 

Yeah, this show is such garbage. Today's episode was awful. Doesn't give much hope for Janine's return. 

After today's episode, I wonder if she's playing Mrs. Faversham that has the diamond Billie is looking for?

Yes Paul and Derrick!  They'd have to recast to bring Paul back to the main show, but Christopher Sean might be willing to do a 5-10 spin-off series. 

 
Or Brian if Brant Daugherty is available. I loved Brian.

Absolutely. They could totally do a spin-off based around Will and Sonny living in Arizona. They could have Leo decide to stay and cause trouble for them. Finally cast Sonny's brother Alex, who also lives in Arizona. They could give Alex a love interest.  Have Chad visit for an extended arc. Top it off with characters like Sami,  John, Marlena, Justin, popping in for visits. 

Overall a good second episode. The story with Sonny/Will/Leo/Chad is the best one, with Ciara/Ben/Billie being the worst one, with the other two stories falling in between. 

I agree that so far it doesn't seem very ground breaking. It's not any more risque than the main show. They basically seems like a typical DAYS episode but with a budget from 10-15 years ago. 

As much as I like Chandler, he's not flawless. When he's bored, his performances can be bad. Sometimes he can look like he'd rather be anywhere else.   I'd say Freddie is consistently worse though.

Me too. If Freddie had done those scenes, it would have been awful to sit through.  Zach was able to show several emotions that Sonny was going through and got me to actually care about Sonny as a character for the first time in ages.

It always felt to me like Ron was invested in Will and Paul as a couple and never interested in Sonny and Will, so when Christopher Sean left, he was forced to put them back together.  This version of Sonny and Will is one where I can see Ron wanting to write for.

He really has. I liked Freddie on 90210 and l liked him the first few years on DAYS as Sonny, but from Guy Wilson through Chandler's second stint, he hasn't been great.  Zach has breathed new life into the character.

Agreed. Billy's Chad always felt bisexual to me. The show should make it canon already.  Bring on the Chillson!
