So bizarre to pen a “Whodunnit?” on your way out the door. I wonder what backstage going ons possessed Ron to go with this story, and as someone said upthread it seems rushed, sloppily put together, and not really thought out.

I think Dani will have to hit absolute rock bottom first before realizing her true calling(be it modeling or a tv show host). Meaning we’ll have to sit thru this alcoholism storyline and her realizing once and for all she doesn’t need Bill (probably at the conclusion of this drinking story) before she can truly tackle a career path that’s right for her.

Let’s be honest here BTG was not going to debut at #1 or #2 in Total viewers or Households. It should go without stating that soaps like B&B, RH, DAYS, and AMC took multiple years to build their audience. BTG has solid demos and that’s a foundation on which they can build on. I’m quite impressed with these and the effect the show is having on the rest of the line up.

Very strong week with the Avani stuff, and the show playing all the right beats with Phil and Linda recovering from individually hitting rock bottom.

Noel has come a long way from his days at Y&R. Sad I don’t have faith in anything changing.

Just a prediction; further down the road they’re definitely going to go there with Jacob and Hayley! I’m all for it and the ripple effects it will have, especially for Bill. Naomi and Bill give me Victor Newman/Victoria vibes and I just love it. Circling back to Naomi and Jacob I think Martins secret and it’s obvious public revelation is going to be what splits the two apart, especially if Jacob is forced to arrest Martin. These episodes have been good because we don’t have Ashley and Derek weighing it down, and to a certain extent Andre being love struck with Ashley…zzzzz

I don’t assume the climax of Eva/Leslie is going to happen before the recast. They should’ve let the original actor play out the rest of the story IMO

Megan is more like JER to Days when it comes to AMC. He too had some good stuff (probably with the help of other writers as well), but there was a bunch of bad too. He had quite the persona too.

It’s crazy how I’ve psychologically blocked this storyline and even revisiting it today in 2025. 😂 Like anything penned by Higley just doesn’t register as anything I should actively acknowledge in DAYS history.

I’m blanking here, I know of Alan and EJ, who’s the third? Every now and then when I completely have written DAYS off as a complete mockery of soaps under Ron, we have scenes like today and Fridays episode. Maybe How long has Dan O’Connor’s name has been in the credits?

I can’t believe we finally have a daytime soap that has given soap characters a sex life. I’ve missed it.

I knew the Tomas actor was bad from the brief moment he was introduced to us. I know the comparisons to Passions are getting old but Dani’s many shenanigans are reminding me of Theresa’s when that show first started 😂 As much as I’m intrigued by dark Derek or Derek’s simmering jealousy, I have zero faith in the actor doing such a transition justice.

This album is pretty much the Lemonade to Lady Gaga’s Beyoncé. Meaning it’s an album that displays her talents through so many different genres and areas/sounds of pop. I fear it’s going to be underrated or overlooked, but for me this is one of my faves, no skips at all.

Never thought the writers of EE would make me believe that Grant and Bianca were so much alike, but here we are. It was a beautifully written scene between two iconic characters. I hope they bring Grant back to conclude Nigel’s story.

He reminds me of Grace from Passions. 😂 At least when it comes to a soap starting…

I think Jen Jacob will get better. I’d say there were plenty of actors that got better in episode 2 compared to the 1st episode, and Jen imo improved.

Now that I had a chance to watch I LOVED it. The opening scene of Nicole driving to actual music 😆 you can tell that us American soap fans are starving when we get excited at actual music being used 😂 The outdoor scenes wonderfully shot. Why do I get a sense of foreshadowing when Anita and Nicole were talking about how lucky they were to find a “good” guy (unlike Bill), that somewhere down the road a man from either one of their past may show up being the complete opposite of their husbands. I have sense that while Nicole may have married the right man, that there’s a bad boy out there that the Duprees may have disapproved of, and may have left behind to go to medical school and etc. It’s just speculation but I definitely get a sense Nicole’s life isn’t all that perfect and neither is her past. Bill is definitely going to be someone I love to hate, a Roger Thorpe or Victor Newman in the making! The actor has that IT factor! I need more exploration of the friendship between Bills daughter and Hayley! I definitely get a sense that Hayley will be a character I will like more further down the road as soon as she grows up and wisens up about Bill. It’s going to be glorious to watch! Dani is an Erica Kane in the making.

I haven’t watched it yet but it’s already been spoiled for me with social media. What a mistake this is though 😢 I’d rather them just be safe and just let the death be Reiss.
