  1. The show is going all in with this gambling addiction storyline, including the many forms it takes.
  2. He either knows about some of her conquests or he’s referring to her meeting up with Joey Armstrong a few times.
  3. I hope this Jessica chick isn’t playing poor Tyrell.
  4. Imagine if this son may have had a history with Hayley. That would’ve been good viewing material.
  5. They should let her do more of these voiceovers. She’s sounds like a grand dame!
  6. “I love you too counselor.” 😭 Wonderful Bill and Naomi scenes. The Martin/Smitty/Tyrell/Samantha scenes really picked up and got intense mid episode. Didn’t expect Tyrell to go into the kids at school calling him a woke charity case for being adopted by a congressman. The actors that play Tyrell and Martin were stronger than usual in those scenes.
  7. Right, the show is finding its groove and I’m loving it. Looking forward to next week.
  8. And one other thing, maybe Martin is adopted due to Nicole’s inability to carry to term, and that’s why Nicole was trying so hard for a baby so desperately before Kat. Plus it explains why it drove a wedge between Ted and Nicole; her wanting to carry a child to term and Ted simply being satisfied that they had adopted a son to call their own. Just speculation of course, but there’s so much juicy potential with Ted and Nicole and their seemingly picture perfect family.
  9. It’s so glaring how the show is ignoring Martins relationships with his parents, especially Ted. We’ve had numerous scenes of Andre saying how much he idolizes and has put Ted on a pedestal, but I still don’t know how Martin views his father. How Martin will react when he learns of his father’s affair with Leslie is still unknown to me as a viewer. It’s a missed opportunity bc from what I can see Ted treats Andre more as a son than Martin, whether that’s intentional or just the show neglecting Martin/Ted, that remains to be seen. The potential is there for Ted/Andre/Martin being layered and complex but it hasn’t hit the screen yet. I hope MVJ has this in the pipeline.
  10. Is that some foreshadowing there between Eva and Leslie, and Eva being there to catch her fall if she goes too far….hmmmmm 🤔
  11. Can’t believe Ted is telling Andre about his affair with Dana. 😱
  12. For a Carlivati episode, it’s pretty strong so far.
  13. I quite liked today’s episode. Love how this show writes its father-daughter relationships; Naomi/Bill, Samantha/Martin, even Vernon/Dani. Very complex character driven stuff.
  14. I know she wasn’t on today, but alas I found this funny lol
  15. You caught that to eh? I actually wish we could get more moments like that bc he still seems a bit stiff and awkward to me most of the time.
  16. Chelsea’s speech at the end thanking her mother kinda made me tear up 🥲
  17. The fashion show is better than anything I’ve seen on B&B for the last 10-20 years 😆
  18. Accurately put. As much as I like DF, EJ should’ve been written off years ago tbh.
  19. Dani is very good in this episode. 😊 Derek and Hayley? lol nahhhh…but I wonder
  20. So bizarre to pen a “Whodunnit?” on your way out the door. I wonder what backstage going ons possessed Ron to go with this story, and as someone said upthread it seems rushed, sloppily put together, and not really thought out.
  21. I think Dani will have to hit absolute rock bottom first before realizing her true calling(be it modeling or a tv show host). Meaning we’ll have to sit thru this alcoholism storyline and her realizing once and for all she doesn’t need Bill (probably at the conclusion of this drinking story) before she can truly tackle a career path that’s right for her.
  22. Let’s be honest here BTG was not going to debut at #1 or #2 in Total viewers or Households. It should go without stating that soaps like B&B, RH, DAYS, and AMC took multiple years to build their audience. BTG has solid demos and that’s a foundation on which they can build on. I’m quite impressed with these and the effect the show is having on the rest of the line up.
  23. Very strong week with the Avani stuff, and the show playing all the right beats with Phil and Linda recovering from individually hitting rock bottom.
  24. Noel has come a long way from his days at Y&R. Sad I don’t have faith in anything changing.
  25. Just a prediction; further down the road they’re definitely going to go there with Jacob and Hayley! I’m all for it and the ripple effects it will have, especially for Bill. Naomi and Bill give me Victor Newman/Victoria vibes and I just love it. Circling back to Naomi and Jacob I think Martins secret and it’s obvious public revelation is going to be what splits the two apart, especially if Jacob is forced to arrest Martin. These episodes have been good because we don’t have Ashley and Derek weighing it down, and to a certain extent Andre being love struck with Ashley…zzzzz
