I just love all the sappy ghost stuff. I liked it when AW did that for Cass/Frankie (I think they did anyway). It would be a nice callback to history, as they were one of, if not the most, popular couple ever on AMC.

Phil did a great job, but I can't help resenting a longtime key character being trashed to create sympathy for a new face. I guess they were also using this to break up Asa/Renee, but there were more subtle ways. To me OLTL is still pretty strong - other than the violence against women - until 1990. Some of what I've seen is OK but other stuff, like Michael Grande drugging Brenda, is terrible.

I'm still hoping that will happen before AMC ends. Have Jenny return to convince Jesse to be honest about the baby, restore Angie's sight, and say goodbye to Greg.

I do agree with a lot of his praise, but I thought Rauch did a much better job with Asa than Gottlieb ever did. I still cringe at the memory of the scene where he verbally abused LeAnn Demerest at the high school prom. Is there any need for that? I also feel like Erika was much better in the Rauch years than he claims - just look at some of her layered performances in the Christine Cromwell/Eterna saga. I think OLTL was better at that time when Rauch did the outer space than when he tried to go back to what he saw as OLTL's roots. That seemed to be when his era really came apart...that and misuse of Gabrielle, and Andrea Evans leaving.

I was going to guess her, since I saw her in a 1991 episode yesterday. Too bad they screwed up so badly with Dani, first by using her as a foil for dull Nikki and then ruining her for no apparent reason during Craig's disgusting comeback. I always wanted Ellen to show up and berate her.
