  1. Thanks for posting this. I don't know a lot of these characters, like Cindy, Fay, or Greg (is that the guy from Our Miss Brooks?) and his daughter. Her story seems a bit risque for the time. Did David rape Kathy? Was this John James as Tom?
  2. Thanks so much for this. It's kind of strange this thread was never created but while we both probably have a lot of Somerset stuff, it's kind of tough to get things going. I would kill to see this show - so little is available. It has many actors I love, from Ann Wedgworth, Joel Crothers, Georgann Johnson, and others I want to see so early in their career, like Audrey Landers and Tina Sloan and Sigourney Weaver. I wonder if the network made them split up Ellen/Dale. For a while I thought she ended the show with him but clearly not.
  3. Thanks. It's nice to see she has so many friends from the set - and it's nice to see Martine again (she looks about the same as she did ten years ago). More and more I don't think Patsy will be back on Eastenders. I kept counting the number of "y'know...".
  4. The always underrated Kim Lankford's episode of The Hitchhiker. This has some violence, and a topless scene. http://www.imdb.com/video/hulu/vi3766813721/
  5. Yes, it is. The Waveguide spoilers have more. I don't know what Hollyoaks is these days.
  6. What a disaster Mandy's returns have been. I read that
  7. I don't understand why Obama decided to make a production about releasing his birth certificate. The people who don't believe it still won't, and the people who do will either think this is too much, or they will wonder if he's hiding something.
  8. Kathleen Tolan is possibly the worst recast ever on a soap. Nicolette Goulet wasn't very good, although she got better towards the end.

  10. This is about 2-3 days before the big DID story started, right after Sloan died.
  11. Great clips put up, with stuff I've never seen before. These are the days before Viki snapped and turned into Tommy, then Jean Randolph. This also has an extended version of Viki's nightmare, which features Dorian and Irene (Tina as Irene).
  12. Alf/Colm was one of the henchman who kept Bo, Didi, and Delilah prisoner.
  13. Thanks. I will have to look for the rest. That was such a good story. As cheesy and not all that realistic as it was for Erica to be a supermodel, Susan usually pulled it off.
  14. So it is. Does Dimitri catch her and her injuries are from the fall we didn't see, or does he not catch her? It's actually pretty well done, although the music reminds me of a Chaka Kahn track from the early 80's (music is the way I live, I'm alive and living now), and Erica seems to be trying a booty pop at several points.
  15. Yeah, scaffolding. I'd forgotten that - I just remembered that she fell and damaged her back. I've never seen the clip.
  16. That scene with Syed and Zainab floored me - by far the best work I've seen from Marc Elliot. In the past he used a mopey face as a default but this time I genuinely believed Syed daring to hope, in spite of knowing he shouldn't. What is so great about Zainab is she is so effortless in any comedy or dramatic scene. What a comparison to the labored Heather. I really wish Zainab and Yusef would not go the predictable affair route. I also wish they could find a way to dig Masood out. The family is like a car crash now - you can't look away. Tamwar is the most limited actor of the family, although he works in the supporting role. I do wish he'd grow up a little more. Great character mixture having Janine pop in there.
  17. Don't you think he looks like Todd McKee in that photo?
  18. I guess it helps that they were together a shorter time and had less chance for weak writing. I did love Gabriella/Tina, at least with Evans in the role. The baby swap lie they were in on was a high point. I wonder if they're friends now.
  19. Thanks for catching me up on him. I had no idea what his future career was. I'm glad he's happy and has a good life. He wasn't the best actor but was charming and fun, and he was one of many RH seemed to toss aside for no real reason (I think he didn't even last a year).
  20. Glad you read. I love Fiona's work as Gabrielle - I'm so glad for Youtube as my only memories otherwise would have been that unfortunate second run. I still hope they might bring her back at the end. The only time I saw that was when she learned Addie was alive but otherwise no; perhaps a few times when Cassie was having a breakdown in 1991, but not much. Generally she didn't get that type of material.
  21. Her Dorian is very different from Robin's. That's why I don't agree with the idea that she is "Robin Lite." It's the same demons and relationships, but a very different take on them. For instance I don't know if the whole who killed Victor? saga would have been the same with Elaine, but I also don't think Robin would have been as adept at selling Dorian as a newspaper publisher or some of the Blair/Addie saga.
  22. December 1981 Rona Barrett's Daytimers.
