There is a photo of Pinkerton and Jameson Parker in tennis clothes so I guess she was there at least up to the friendship between the characters mentioned in the recap. She's also there in the episode soon after Kevin was born, so I wouldn't be surprised if she was the one who was in the early stages of trying to break up Joe and Viki.

I always got the feeling that Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa, who had their own love story, were the main reason the show kept Hayley and Mateo together. Onscreen they had pretty much nothing but lousy stories and it took me a very long time to stop loathing his character.

He doesn't have a lot to do. The show is garbage and has destroyed nearly every character - it's worse than Eastenders. At least most of the Eastenders characters are recognizable. Just go back and watch Viv's and Terry's last episode and compare it to Pat's exit.
